Obese and ´oppressed´in Ferguson
American Thinker, by Russ Vaughn

Original Article

One comfort America and the world can take away from the Ferguson, Missouri protests is that contrary to the alarms raised by the Left that the black underclasses are malnourished and downtrodden, the visual images of the protest marchers from Ferguson most assuredly put this liberal assertion to the lie. Watch those people pass by the news network cameras and one observation that leaps out at you is the unrelenting human tonnage lending its literal weight to that procession. America overall is overweight, no question, but what is on parade here appears to signal that obesity, ranging from exceptional to

"unrelenting human tonnage" - ZAP

The American ´poor´ have flat screen TVs and cell phones. That´s why the recent remarks about Dr. Brantley´s mission to the very poor and the very sick were especially revolting. Why not help here indeed? Because the government usurped the church´s role to care for the poor purposefully to neuter the church. Charity is the role of the individual, that´s why it fails as an institution.

In the Perpetual Grievance Industry, tonnage is a plus as an aid to intimidation. Additionally you get the look of four protesters in one. Fat, ignorant, and angry is no way to go through life...

To be fair about it The Reverend Al Sharpton is just a shell of his former self. He switched his mashed potatoes, gravy, and Karo syrup diet for the salad bar. Too bad it didn´t improve his logic. Like the George Zimmerman thing this will eventually blow over.

Anecdotal factoid -- As a young man many, many years ago, I found myself sitting in the Phoenix airport on a seventeen hour layover. I had neither money nor anywhere to go. It was early spring and I watched snowbird northerners deplane. In those long hours, all major cities were represented multiple times. The roly-poliest folks clearly lived in St.Louis and Cleveland. Not a scientific observation, undeniable nonetheless.

As concerned climatics infested New York and other centers of first-world self-concern on the day before the first day of autumn to express their worries about seasonal change, night into day, and other climate/weather cycles they displayed their usual hypocrisy, selfishness and oh yes, ignorance. Listen again as gazillionaire elitists such as Robert F. Kennedy Junior (son of/member of the fabled, extremely wealthy Kennedy clan) and actor Leonardo DiCaprio babble about saving our planet. A spokesperson for the State Department refuses to say if any missing contract files from March 2008 - March 2014 were stored electronically. The American Thinker began covering the case of the missing records for $6 billion on April 5, 2014, soon after the State Department’s Office of Inspector General released two unclassified memos dated March 20, 2014. (snip)The fact that Hillary Clinton was the Secretary of State for four of the six years covered by the missing files may explain the reluctance of the State Department to answer simple, factual inquiries about the missing records.

Ever since the Republicans regained control of the House in 2010, some conservatives have sought to replace Rep. John Boehner as speaker. Boehner has managed to fight off challenges to his leadership in the past. But there appears to be a serious revolt brewing among a growing number of conservatives who are unhappy with Boehner´s approach to the 2014 mid terms. The Hill thinks that the current challenge to Boehner is the most serious to date: The strategy — for now — seems disorganized and fluid: Find a way to push the Speaker’s race to a second ballot, create turmoil in the conference,

Last night’s air strikes against ISIS in Syria used up 47 Tomahawk missiles. The Tomahawk is an extremely effective weapon, capable of delivering its ordnance precisely, without risking a pilot’s life. But the defense cuts of the Obama administration call for procuring only one hundred Tomahawks next year. Christopher Cavas of Defense News reported last May: Weapons procurement showed striking reductions from last year’s plans. Then, the Navy planned to buy 980 Tactical Tomahawks, the primary cruise missile in use throughout the fleet. The new plan shows only 100 missiles in 2015 and none thereafter.

Rotherham has made its splash, had its fifteen minutes and is gone, assuredly with a sigh of relief from the media and politicians on both sides of the big pond. For thirteen years, something on the order of 1400 girls in Rotherham, a typical Midlands industrial city of roughly a quarter-million, were carefully groomed and then turned out as whores by members of the city’s Pakistani Muslim minority. The motive of the Muslims is transparent: Mohammed said it was okay. The reaction of the city’s populace is less so. For thirteen years, not a government official, not a policeman, not a

ince the U.S. is largely moderate to conservative, it was hard to imagine how someone as far left as Barack Obama twice won the presidency. After the election was over, we learned how the Democrats’ data mining operation succeeded in bringing to the polls the outlying constituencies he needed to win (given the normally low turnout of the rest of the voters). Part of that mining for voters involved targeting messages designed to emotionally appeal to them, given that “belief” once formed in these peoples’ minds defeats any rational arguments. The big (and unfortunately successful) target of these emotional appeals was
