Obama’s teetering presidency
Washington Times, by J.T. Young

Barack Obama’s presidency isn’t just shrinking, it’s losing support among its most critical point — its base. Less than two years ago, Barack Obama became the first Democratic president since FDR to win re-election with a popular-vote majority. Since then, his support has dropped dramatically — not just overall, but among important constituent groups. Comparing 2012 exit poll results with an Aug. 8 McClatchy-Marist nationwide poll shows how far Mr. Obama has fallen with various segments of the population. In 2012, Mr. Obama won among women 55 percent to 44 percent. Today, his approval rating among women is 41 percent, with

Finally even some of the slow witted former followers are figuring out that a crappy little community organizer, and a complete fruad, isn´t quite up to the world´s most important job. Well, well now isn´t that a surprise?

(a) 0bama isn´t running for any more elections, one way or the other (b)his very core support isn´t going anywhere. The effort from now is to keep Democrats running for re-election from having to pay the price of this disaster. Total focus of the MSM from now on. Walker, Christie, Perry all part of this game plan.

Bingo #3. But somehow his disapproval number never "plummets" below 40 percent. And in all probability those who would kick him to the curb will willingly vote for whomever becomes the next Dem candidate; no doubt with the "First Woman as president" meme front and center.

Virtually across the board, among groups in which Mr. Obama still had support to lose, he has lost it in roughly double-digit chunks.

Polls have never stopped him. He simply doesn´t care.

Today, the president’s support can be identified in just five major groups: Democrats, liberals, blacks, 18-to-29-year-olds and the Northeasterners. Even in this shrunken core, Mr. Obama has seen notable declines.

That´s still a lot of votes. Too many. Do these supporters actually believe a Republican will be worse than another liberal Democrat? The devastated landscape that elected liberals leave in their wake should be a clue to voters, but alas, they don´t seem to learn.

I saw Obama give his Ferguson speech. He looks awful; haggard, skinny, sallow. I almost felt sorry for him until I remembered the depths to which his handlers will go to create sympathy for him -- to the point of using carefully applied professional makeup. Shadows can do wonders to make a person look sick.

As for his "teetering presidency", it didn´t teeter soon enough to avoid the carnage in America, the Middle East and Russia. This presidency should have teetered before he was elected, given the entire blank background he offered as his qualifications for this Office.

When his support gets to 10% I will listen. Notice there was nothing in the article about the support of African Americans - which still remains at 90%.

He will serve out his term and bring disaster with him through his pen and his phone. The 2014 election needs to be a loud message to Rinos and Dims alike. You have to wonder if that will actually happen.

Obama would have never been the Democratic canadate, been elected President the first time, reelected President, avoided impeachment without the msm. They are socialist and evil just as Obama and his regime. Without a honest, fair and balanced media, which includes all forms of public media, the USA needs to have a peaceful parting of ways. The chances they will see the light of reality are no better the state of Vermont voting for a Republican president.

The first black experiment and ´What Me Worry?´ chief of state is just fine. Ruling with his pen and his phone is all he needs while Congress sits dumb founded and too stupid to act. What ever the percentage of black population is should be his approval numbers but it´s not. There are still stupid liberals rabidly supporting him thus the high numbers for this disaster.

It is my great hope that Barry leaves office in Jan. 2017, with the lowest approval rate of any of the previous 43 men to hold the office. I think his two terms as POTUS have served as an example of the kind of president that is not good for America. I truly hope voters have learned this important lesson.

As I and several others have expressed, it´s too bad that Israel´s Prime Minister Netanyahu can´t trade places with Obama, as Bibi would make a great American President!

For those who don´t know or have forgotten, Mr. Netanyahu studied political science at Harvard while earning his S.M. degree from MIT Sloan School of Management. He would run rings around Barry who may not have attended many classes at Harvard, since no one remembers his being there. I bet Netanyahu´s fellow classmates remember him quite well - intelligent people usually stick out whether or not they intend to do so.

The early signs that obama was the incompetent post turtle that most of us thought before his inauguration were the multi-trillion dollar bailouts, payoffs to unions and cronies, green energy scams, oil-platform shutdowns, cash for clunkers, czar appointments, muslim infiltrations, financial takeovers, obamacare tactics, election fraud... other than that, he seemed like a pretty capable guy.

Oh come on, when are you "conservative" journalists going to figure it out? His presidency is anything but teetering. To Marx, Alinsky, Frank Marshal Davis, Jarrett, his presidency is stronger than ever and getting stronger every second. So, the question is, what IS teetering or more accurately, what has already teetered over? Here´s a hint; it´s between Mexico and Canada and between the Pacific and Atlantic Ocean. Its THREE initials starts with a "U" and ends with an "A" with an "S" in between. With apologies to Rio Lindans for giving them a super tough question.

The United Nations Climate Summit will begin in New York this Tuesday, but environmental activists didn’t wait. There was a tone of fatalism in the comments of many with whom I spoke; they despair that the kind of radical change they advocate probably won’t result from the normal democratic process. If Republicans take control of the Senate as expected in November, President Obama may need to stock up on ink for his veto pen. The emboldened new Senate Republican majority will likely pass a flurry of bills aimed at dismantling Obama´s signature healthcare law, environmental regulations aimed at climate change, and executive orders on subjects both big and small. Obama, who has wielded his veto pen just twice since entering the Oval Office, would find himself in a vastly changed political landscape. Among other things, Republicans would force the president to either veto or compromise on rolling back parts of Obamacare, approving the

The Rick Scott and Charlie Crist campaigns in Florida and the groups that support each of them have an almost incomprehensible amount of money. Experts predict $150 million or more will be spent this year to influence the choice of Florida’s next governor. Most of these millions are being spent on TV attack ads that grossly exaggerate the perfidy of the incumbent governor and of the former governor who would like his office back. My seventh-grade son recently wrote a U.S. History paper extolling the virtues of President Franklin Roosevelt’s New Deal. “It ended the Great Depression,” he wrote with great certainty. He’s only 12 and parroting what the history texts and his teachers told him. That’s his excuse. What’s Ken Burns’? Mr. Burns’ docudrama on the Roosevelts — for those who weren’t bored to tears — repeats nearly all the worn-out fairy tales of the FDR presidency, including what I call the most enduring myth of the 20th century, which is that FDR’s avalanche of alphabet-soup government programs ended the Great Depression. The march to address climate change, billed as the largest in history, is occurring two days before President Obama and world leaders attend a summit dealing with the same issue at the United Nations. U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon — who has fought passionately against global warming — along with celebrities, CEOs and activists are expected to descend on the city for the massive event.
