Ferguson, Missouri -- The Ferguson, Missouri, police officer who killed Michael Brown says the teenager rushed at him full speed in the moments before the shooting, according to an account phoned into a St. Louis radio station and confirmed as accurate by a source with detailed knowledge of the investigation. According to the account on KTFK, phoned in by a woman who identified herself as "Josie," the altercation began after Officer Darren Wilson rolled down his window to tell Brown and a friend to stop walking in the street. When Wilson tried to get out of his cruiser, Brown first

FTA- " A source with detailed knowledge of the investigation later told CNN the caller´s account is "accurate," in that it matches what Wilson has told investigators."
Notice how Baden contradicts himself.
" He cautioned that he needs access to autopsy results, including tests on Brown´s clothes and X-rays,
before making some conclusions."
However, Baden didn´t hesitate to conclude that no struggle ensued because
he didn´t find physical injuries on Brown.
" Dr. Michael Baden said no signs of a struggle were revealed in his autopsy of Brown´s body,.."
Struggles don´t always produce injuries.
The gun was discharged inside the vehicle indicating a struggle.
And what about the injuries to Officer Wilson´s face ?
Baden is pandering to the family and irresponsibly
fueling the worst scenarios.

Walking down the middle of the street. I see it every day with these punks. They are brazen, out to cause trouble, arrogant, law breaking like tyrants. They walk in the middle of the street, just DARING anyone to do anything. If he weren´t all these things, he would not be dead.

I don´t feel sorry for ANYONE, other than the officer who has had his life ruined by this punk.

Perhaps when the Agitator in Chief makes his big speech, he can make it a "teachable moment" and tell young arrogant punks NOT to walk down the middle of the street...you just might get killed.

Do you seriously think someone in that neighborhood would call a radio station and give that account without their voice altered?

She basically just repeated the story from the "hidden audio".

We don´t know what actually happened, but the Gentle Giant must have done something totally crazy to provoke getting shot. On the other hand, if the cop was afraid of him charging back at his car, he could have just shot him in the legs. Why would he shoot him in the head?

On the one hand, I cannot condone the police actions because of the results, an unarmed man killed. On the other hand the kid seemed to be asking for trouble, and one cannot really blame the cop for delivering.

The kid was supposed to "have marijuana in his system", but this does not sound like marijuana behavior, so I´m guessing he had some other stuff, drugs or just a lot of alcohol. OTOH just being 18 is enough for trouble, the moreso if you´re 300 pounds.

It´s a mess. In such situations the tradition is to move on. Likely nothing much can be proved either way in a court of law.

#10, cops today don´t shoot people in the legs, they are taught that if they are going to discharge that weapon their life must be in danger and they should need to shoot to kill. Besides, ever shoot a gun? In real life hitting a small target is tough, especially under pressure and with a moving target, etc.

Now, that is why they have tasers, but the taser is not that sure a thing either.

#10 - it´s not rocket science. This guy was built like a linebacker. For all we know, he had been a football player in high school. He made a linebacker move at the cop.... head and shoulders down, right are up and crossed over his body for the impact on the smaller cop´s midsection.

And #5, here in Las Vegas, I heard the woman who called in to the ´´local´´ radio station. It was Dana Loesch´s show. I caught only the end of it, but Dana as host and this caller had no reason to disguise her voice - Dana was just taking a call.

I´m not a cop, but I took CCW training. We were taught to shoot to STOP. However that manifests when it´s all being sorted out later, is secondary. Cops may be trained to kill, but this cop was way off his center-mass stopping area. I´m guessing that´s because the linebacker was steamrolling up on him at a speed accelerated by his anger at the cop for ´´catching´´ him.

WASHINGTON — As Obama administration officials sought to reassure Americans about efforts to contain Ebola in the wake of the first U.S. case, the military announced Friday that an additional 1,000 troops could be sent to West Africa to help fight the virus. And that number could go higher than that, said Rear Adm. John Kirby, the Pentagon press secretary. "I´m not going to put a floor or ceiling on this," Kirby said. President Obama initially ordered 3,000 troops to West Africa to help build hospitals, labs and treatment centers and provide logistics help. They are not going to treat Ebola

Ebola is spreading at the rate of five new cases an hour in Sierra Leone, according to figures released as world leaders and experts on disease control gathered in London to discuss the outbreak. The figures from Save the Children showed there were 765 new cases last week in the west African country alone, but only 327 hospital beds to treat infected patients. The charity said the “terrifying” rate of the spread of the disease was outstripping medical supplies and threatened a breakdown of Sierra Leone’s already fragile health system. ATLANTA — Texas, America’s second-most populous state behind California, saw 13 of its last abortion clinics turn away women on Friday, after a federal appeals court upheld a law that practically guarantees that only a handful of clinics will remain open in the state. The strictest-of-its-kind Texas law requires abortion providers to build hospital-grade facilities and obtain sometimes impossible-to-get hospital admitting privileges. After signed into law last year by Gov. Rick Perry (R), the law forced most of the 41 clinics operating to close. Thursday’s ruling wiped out a brief victory this summer for abortion rights proponents,
