In Ferguson, Black Town, White Power
New York Times, by Jeff Smith

Original Article

Politics, wrote the political scientist Harold Lasswell in 1936, is about “who gets what, when, and how.” If you want to understand the racial power disparities we’ve seen in Ferguson, Mo., understand that it’s not only about black and white. It’s about green. (Snip) Ferguson’s demographics have shifted rapidly: in 1990, it was 74 percent white and 25 percent black; in 2000, 52 percent black and 45 percent white; by 2010, 67 percent black and 29 percent white. The region’s fragmentation isn’t limited to the odd case of a city shedding its county. St. Louis County contains 90 municipalities, most

The shifting demographics just illustrate the fact that sensible people get the heck out as more and more blacks move in. It´s a demonstrable fact that there is more crime and urban decay in communities with a high proportion of black residents.

Since blacks are a large majority - - why don´t they elect black officials - - and apply for a majority of the law enforcement jobs?

Oh, sorry - - I didn´t mean to ask the NYT logical questions. I went a little too far with that.

#1, case study near where I live.

Pomona, California, was once a very nice town. Fox built a gorgeous movie theater in the early part of the 1900s as a "rural" but close-in test bed for films. There was a very nice downtown, and what is now 2nd Street loaded with high end department stores, men´s suit shops, shoe stores, etc. There was a Cadillac dealer with a gorgeous glass circular showroom.

In the late 1960s a lot of agricultural areas were built over and a large black population moved in. There was open prostitution on Mission and Holt, the nice stores all pulled out, drugs were rampant. My friend worked for the police force there for a while and it was the most action of any force he had ever seen...constant calls. The Fox closed and became run down, whole neighborhoods turned, gang problems, shooting of police officers. A total mess.

The blacks eventually moved out to San Bernardino and ghettofied huge areas of that city. Hispanics moved into their place and the city improved slightly. In the past few decades the Fox has been restored, there is a 18+ rock club there, there are some art galleries, and 2nd street has turned into an antiques mall. So there is small progress. There are still some wonderful old houses in the city, but it is still plagued by crime and you sure don´t want to live there.

It is a real shame. Maybe someone can show me an all-black town that is a great place to live, not sure if I know of one.

About the only thing guaranteed by the Ferguson antics is that the town will soon be black run. Outside resources and pressure will make this happen. As a point of interest, two of the worst communities in the metro area are just off a couple sides of Ferguson -- Wellston and Kinloch. Textbook hell holes. It may take a while for Ferguson to sink that low, maybe not, but it´s coming.

Black Town, "Dimocrat" White Power
There, fixed it!

White Dims use abortion, illegal immigration and minority convictions and incarceration to "fine tune" the electorate.
That´s how you end up with dim bulbs (Mary Landrieu) being elected. These minorities are counted in the population, but many, such as felons and under those under 18 year of age, can´t vote, so THEY can carry a Dim to victory, but THEY can´t be elected.

It may also be that black citizens understand that black run communities most ofent fail. They have a glaring example right east of the river from them, East St. Louis, a total disaster of black run "gummint".

From Detroit to new orleans, you can see blistering examples of failed Black Democrat dysfunctional civic government. Yet, the NYT writer, Jeff Smith seems to advocate just handing all government over the black, regardless of qualification, as if just being of the dark skinned personage is all the qualification needed to bring on a Utopia. I submit, the most glaring example of why this one qualification is a disaster is Barack Hussein Øbama.

The reason dem and minority controlled government fails
is because they see government first, last, and always
as a spoils generator.

It isn´t about keeping the streets in good repair.
It isn´t about keeping the water and electricity flowing.
It isn´t about maintaining a level playing field
for the ongoing drama of (God-Forbid)Capitalism...
So that the people have jobs and opportunities.

No, no, no.

Even if they didn´t know that every black-run city is run into the ground (Detroit, DC, Philadelphia, Newark, Camden), one would have to recognize this pattern.
Heck, we have it on a national scale with Obama, Holder, and Jarrett running this country into the ground.

WASHINGTON — The U.S. military is spending as much as $10 million per day on its new air war against Islamic State militants in Iraq and Syria, a relative pittance compared with the hundreds of millions it spent fighting every day in Afghanistan in 2013. The costs in Iraq and Syria will escalate substantially if, as President Obama and Pentagon officials have said, the new war lasts for years, according to military analysts.
