´America Is On Trial´:
Al Sharpton On Ferguson Protests

Business Insider, by Colin Campbell

Rev. Al Sharpton gave a passionate speech in St. Louis on Sunday morning, where he sharply criticized the release of video allegedly depicting Michael Brown, the black teen recently killed during a police encounter, robbing a convenience store before the fatal incident. "Michael Brown is gone. You can run whatever video you want. He is not on trial. America is on trial!" Sharpton declared at the Greater St. Marks Family Church, according to video posted by Fox 2. "I have never in all my years seen something as offensive and insulting as a police chief releasing a tape of a

Al Sharpton is wrong. The only ones on trial are the blacks in Ferguson and elsewhere who do not respect others and especially the police who have an incredibly difficult job to do. I don´t know what the blacks are accusing the white police of doing but the blacks are looting and burning. That´s just illegal and disrespectful of your community. Let´s stop sugar-coating the criminal activities and put those criminals in jail.

I am puzzled that 77% of the population (white)
continues to tolerate bad behavior and taunting and insults from representatives of the 13.3% of the population (black).
My numbers are from the 2010 census.
They come out in force, steal, burn down businesses and blame us.

Al Sharpton is proof that a very ignorant racist liar can rise to a highly influential level in our society now permeated with so many lo-fo dumbasses---think Obama, Holder, and the cadre of Marxist, Muslim, African values foisted upon our great people....

Only in a bizarro world so totally upside down and riddled with a corrupt media and corrupt public school system could this happen.

We need to FIGHT BACK and go to war against these people, the rioter-mentality, the Al and Jesse liar race-hustlers, the corrupt media and academia...stop kow-towing on knees so subservient to the left-wing progressive agenda!! Stop it now! It´s WAR, I tell ya...WAR! YOU people are on trial! The first punishment to those of you who are guilty is to lose your welfare checks, your food stamps, your Obama-phone...(I would have included contraceptives but 72% of the black population are born OUT-OF-WEDLOCK!!!!!!)

Whose fault after 50 years of entitlement money is that? HUH? Who else does this? Riots and bastards...what a legacy.

The refusal to make eye contact, or even speak to white people for any reason? The seething anger in their most subtle actions?

But he failed them. They are lost but cannot fault the One who they´ve perceived to be one of their own.

As many as 500,000 people could be infected with Ebola virus disease by the end of January, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta. The CDC estimate, due to be released this week, is based on “dynamic modeling” and assumes no additional aid to help battle the disease, a person familiar with the report told the Washington Post. Infectious-disease experts, aid workers and global health advocates said the number of Ebola cases is increasing much more rapidly than the World Health Organization, or WHO, had projected, especially in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone, collectively the

On Sunday, a gaggle of queer folks will be joining the “People’s Climate March,” a rally in New York City projected to attract more than 100,000 attendees. Unfortunately, those who could help the cause the most are the least likely to show up. Marching under banners such as “Queers for the Climate,” LGBT climate activists are, first and foremost, agitating for action on climate change. But they are also saying something about what LGBT activism should be about, and saying something quite different from the (current) gay mainstream. The question is whether they can make an impact. The 48-40 Gardner lead among likely voters in The Quinnipiac University Poll contrasts with two other independent polls released earlier this month that found Udall tied or slightly ahead in the race. The federal government is famously gigantic, but the president´s Cabinet is not, particularly if you narrow it to the inner circle that crafts military and national security strategy. It was once said, “religion is designed to comfort the afflicted and to afflict the comfortable.” Jesus’ parables – short stories with moral lessons – were likewise designed to afflict, to draw us in but leave us uncomfortable. These teachings can be read as being about divine love and salvation, sure. But, their first listeners – first century Jews in Galilee and Judea – heard much more challenging messages. Only when we hear the parables as Jesus’ own audience did can we fully experience their power and find ourselves surprised and challenged today. Here are four examples of Jesus’ teachings that everybody gets wrong: 1.
