One person was shot and seven people arrested early this morning as police used smoke and tear gas to impose a curfew following the killing of an unarmed black teenager. Officers are seeking the person who shot the critically-wounded victim after the 12am-5am curfew took hold in Ferguson, Missouri - eight days after Michael Brown, 18, was shot dead by police. Police said their strong response came after people broke into a restaurant and took position on the roof overlooking officers, while another man flashed a handgun as armoured vehicles approached. Some 200 defiant protesters remained on the streets of

Saturday Night Special, Sunday Morning.

That original (very) tough response of the local police is looking somewhat wiser now. The state people aren´t doing much better.

OTOH others will say that original response is what led to all the subsequent problems.

No one wins word wars.

Allow violence to continue and suffer the consequences. Feral teens are looking for free stuff. If the police stopped a bunch of them from stealing 6 days ago, like the Michael Brown thief, the police would not have the problem they currently have in Ferguson.

The 18 yo was 6´4" and weighed 300 pounds. He may not have had a gun but he certainly was not, "unarmed". His sheer size made him a potentially deadly weapon.

The Black Panthers are there. Gang bangers are there. Looters are waiting to loot. Yesterday the black officer who was talking to the crowd said that they would not try to enforce the curfew. I see they finally had to. All that hugging stuff was ridiculous. Reasoning with a mob is stupid. The Democrats have succeeded in convincing the blacks that racism exists. No doubt the whole crowd will vote Democrat. Congratulations on planning well.

Our local malls aren´t doing that well because many of their shoppers went to the safety of online many months ago. Shootings in the food court were very popular, so dwindling shoppers used only those stores which had outside entrances. Even so a few food-court fights ended up in nearby stores.

Nowadays a mall´s wide pedestrian areas are dotted with pierced ear and jewelry carts, other carts sell T-shirts with popular slogans, make-up, baseball caps and other small items favored by young people. Don´t really know for sure, can´t remember the last time I shopped at a mall.

The latest fashion around here is mall parking lot shootings, two in the last month.

I use Walmart Online a lot. You can even get cases of bathroom tissue delivered free to your home if you´re into storing essentials for when TS really HTF.

Hmmm. I see I used the word "when" and not "if." My subconscious has a well-developed sense of consequence.

#1 Al and Jesse have gone, but the newest attorneys for the Black Grievance Industry are in Ferguson. That would be Ben Crump and his partner, Daryl Parks now on the scene advising the family (in exactly how to run the scam and become millionaires on the death of Michael Brown). This dynamic duo advised the family in the case of TrayVON. Saint Sabrina and Company are doing pretty well now.

Here is one of the articles on ConservativeTreehouse.com talking about Crump and Parks.

Ferguson is a self inflicted wound. If we still had the guts to shoot looters, none of this would be happening. We still shoot rabid dogs. These rioters are rabid animals and need to be treated as such.

That may sound harsh but nothing will change until we do something drastic, kind of like dealing with Hamas or any other terrorist group.

Totally inappropriate response from the blacks. What good does looting and breaking the curfew do? Does it make the protest more effective? The police seem to be afraid to confront those who willfully disregard orders to disperse. This will become a trend if order is not restored. It appears that there are folks who came to Ferguson specifically to incite violence and there are many like them who would like nothing better if the Ferguson chaos spread across the country. Without effective leadership, mobs rule and it is obvious this country is rudderless.

We have seen Ferguson-like protests many times before.

We watch as "outsiders" arrive to agitate, to demand outcomes and to score propaganda points for the world to see. Many in the media are happy to oblige because coverage grabs attention and ratings increase. Hence both parties may contribute to a breakdown of order.

Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs — partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Based on what I have read, there seems to be two groups of Blacks taking action in Ferguson: The first group are legitimate protesters and the second are the looters. In the pictures they all seem to be dressed the same way with shirts off, underwear out, and sagging pants so it´s hard to tell the difference. No one is happy with the looters. They are using the tragedy as cover for their illegal behavior. While sad that a man may have lost his life over a situation stemming from the theft of a box of cigars, most people feel very attached to their hard-earned possessions, whether in their homes or businesses. Perhaps if urban looters actually owned more things they´d feel different about property rights? The wealth gap may be widening, but looting isn´t a viable solution. Looting causes most people to favor summary justice of the deadly force kind. Worldwide, looters should beware.

This is all very interesting because it puts The Regime in a hell of fix. Call it the Ferguson Conundrum. Hyper militarizing the nation´s local police forces has ominous undertones for American´s liberty, while refusing to enforce our nation´s laws is a hallmark of The Regime. Factor in heavy doses of white guilt, political correctness, and the fear of being called a racist, and opportunistic black thugs are seizing the chance to rob, loot and riot. If The Regime allows the police to forcefully engage and arrest the lawbreakers then the most blindly faithful 0zero supporters, a.k.a. black people, might withdraw their support for their America hating brutha in the White House. If the cops are forced to stand down and merely watch the mayhem while the DOJ prepares to indict/try/convict/imprison the cop who killed the thug Michael Brown, then the burgeoning Statist Armies, i.e. local SWAT and paramilitary cops across the U.S., might become less apt to serve as Ear Leader´s jackbooted enforcers. It will be interesting to see how the Ferguson Riots are resolved. Nevertheless, take the initiative to prepare for your own security and well being.

All of the pictures of the freebie rioters remind me of a Mogadishu Rioting Scene...there´s actually very little difference, as a matter of fact. The Ferguson Blacks would probably be right at home guzzling stolen Colt 45 40 ouncers no matter where they are?

Good successful blacks must be very ashamed of the portrait these rioters present to the whole USA? The only successful blacks that rebel rouse in Ferguson are the usual suspects: Jackson, Sharpton, Holder and Obama.

President Obama was at Northwestern University on Thursday to deliver an economic speech that, he and his team hoped, would lay out the case for why the public is better off today than they were six years ago -- even if they didn´t feel it in their everday lives. Instead, Obama just gave every Republican ad-maker in the country more fodder for negative ads linking Democratic candidates to him. Here are the four sentences that will draw all of the attention (they come more than two thirds of the way through the speech): "I am not on the ballot this

A presidential defeat isn’t an easy thing to bounce back from. And Mitt Romney did it twice. So it was understandable that after he lost the presidential race in 2012, he was adamant about closing the door to the possibility of a third campaign. But recently, speculation is whirling that Romney may not be so adamant anymore. When asked if he was running in a New York Times interview published earlier this week, Romney said : “I have nothing to add to the story. We’ve got a lot of people looking at the race,” he said. “We’ll see what happens.” That response, which

Meghan McCain joined the dog pile on the Secret Service this week, saying she’s had “nothing but horrible experiences" with the agency and likening the agents to “glorified mall cops.” The 29-year-old author and television personality, who is also the daughter of former GOP presidential candidate Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), opened up on Pivot’s “TakePart Live” about some of her interactions with the Secret Service. "I have nothing but horrible experiences with the Secret Service,” McCain said. “One of my friends called them glorified mall cops and I don´t think that´s terribly far off. I found them cliquey. I hated

WASHINGTON — Representative Elijah E. Cummings of Maryland was at the grocery store the other day when he ran into an elderly black woman who expressed growing concern about President Obama’s safety. Why, she asked, wasn’t he being better protected by his Secret Service agents? The furor that led to this week’s resignation of the director of the Secret Service resonated deeply among blacks, outraged that those supposed to be guarding the first black president were somehow falling down on the job — and suspicious even without evidence that it may be deliberate. “It is something that is widespread in

Top White House officials on Friday worked to reassure the American public that the national response to Ebola is under control. ATLANTA — Texas, America’s second-most populous state behind California, saw 13 of its last abortion clinics turn away women on Friday, after a federal appeals court upheld a law that practically guarantees that only a handful of clinics will remain open in the state. The strictest-of-its-kind Texas law requires abortion providers to build hospital-grade facilities and obtain sometimes impossible-to-get hospital admitting privileges. After signed into law last year by Gov. Rick Perry (R), the law forced most of the 41 clinics operating to close. Thursday’s ruling wiped out a brief victory this summer for abortion rights proponents,

Go to a grocery store in California and buy all the milk, eggs and vegetables you want. But there’s one thing you won’t find at the checkout line, beginning July 1, 2015: Plastic bags to carry your stuff home. Gov. Jerry Brown (D) on Tuesday signed into law a ban on single-use plastic bags, making California the first state to prohibit stores from using the ubiquitous carry-alls. Shoppers will be charged 10 cents for every paper bag and heavy-duty plastic bag they use. “This bill is a step in the right direction,” Brown said in a press release announcing his approval. “It

The hawkish Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina says he is thinking about running for president in 2016. In an interview with Stephen Hayes of the Weekly Standard, the senator, running for re-election to the Senate this year, said: “If I get through my general election, if nobody steps up in the presidential mix, if nobody’s out there talking — me and McCain have been talking — I may just jump in to get to make these arguments,” Graham said. Graham, 59, also dismissed Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, 43, as a presidential candidate, saying he is too young. “He’s a good

Thursday while speaking at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, President Barack Obama giggled and raised his arms as he mocked the Fox News Channel for it´s reporting on ObamaCare. Obama said, "There is a reason fewer Republicans, you hear them running around about ObamaCare, cause while good affordable health care might seem like a fanged threat to the freedom of the American people on Fox News it turns out its working pretty well in the real world."
