Ferguson - FOX 2 reporter George Sells interviews store owners that brought their own weapons to guard their store from looters. They talked to police who the owners say were in the parking lot at Dominos and would not help. The owners are not sure that they’re going to stay in business. Police will be holding a press conference at 2pm to address the looting that occurred overnight.

I guess hugs and kumbaya weren´t enough.

The looting is no more than stealing and covering it up with destroying the stores. As I said before, the people involved in this behavior are savages.

I wish with all my heart that my fellow white peoe would take the high road Nd refrain from looting. We are not entitled to free stuff just because it is there for the taking.
No wonder there are so few black people on the police force--if this is the culture of the black applicants, they have no business applying. Animals. This demeans the race. No wonder there are so many who distrust the black community. No standards of decency among so many of them. If the cop shot the kid in cold blood he deserves to be in jail. Right is right!

Don´t forget, THEY didn´t build those businesses, the government did. I´m surprised they want to protect government business.

The guy with the AR-15 said "I could have shot the looters -- I don´t want to do that". Now they get a feel for what its like to be a policeman.

As I said before, this has nothing to do with the shooting this is evidence of the moral deficiency that exists in the black community.

The person shot was a criminal, those that are looting, burning and rioting are criminals. If blacks are sick of being stereotyped then stop the irresponsible display in Ferguson.

You not getting back at whitey your only hurting yourselves and your community!

Business owners in Ferguson just made a huge mistake. They revealed that they have bullets for those weapons. Yes, bullets, a fact that will send Obama into a rage when he completes today´s 18 holes. "How did those folks get bullets? I told the USPS, EPA, Interior, NASA, NOAA and National Parks to buy every bullet of every caliber plus issue contracts for all future production, yet I find out that those store owners have bullets. Let me speak to that old white idiot, Biden, since I told him he responsible for purchasing every bullet in the US."

To Obama, we may have the right to bear arms but not the right to own bullets to defend ourselves.

It has *everything* to do with the shooting. The QT was believed to have been the store that was robbed. Hence, that was why it was hit first, and then burned down
After the press release, and figuring out it was that liquor store, instead, the mob moved to loot it, instead. The police stood by and did nothing, until they attempted tpto set it on fire.

Remember, this is the new police, with the cool kumbaya, lets hold hands and love each other state patrol guy.

He ended up, again, calling in 15 police agencies, like tge Chief of Police he "replaced".

I am guessing the kumbaya thing wasn´t built to last.

At what point do you get to defend your business with force? That opens a whole new can of worms but how long can a society let this go on just sitting by watching ?

All because a street thug wanted a box of cigars that belonged to someone else. Probably never heard that terribly old-fashioned commandment "Thou shall not steal."

I think we have discovered the problem. You do not call a press conference to address looting. You make arrests.
We all condemn heavy handed police, but the opposite is just as bad.
Hopefully the shop owners will not be prosecuted for defending their property, but they probably will be. Shop owners dont riot or fight the cops so they are easy to arrest.

If every store and every person did that there wouldn´t be a need for the Police to have so much, or any, military hardware. They´d just be there for cleanup and paperwork.

Even Jesus chased the money changers out of the synagogue. He might have used an AR or AK variant, instead of a whip, had they been available back then

The teachers union is pitting its members against cops — by sponsoring and promoting the Rev. Al Sharpton’s anti-police rally in Staten Island next week, The Post has learned. The United Federation of Teachers sent an “action alert” e-mail that even promised free transportation to Sharpton’s Aug. 23 demonstration that is billed as a march for justice for “victims of police brutality.” Some teachers were furious that the union would take such a prominent role in the event. “What a disgrace. What is going on with the leadership of the UFT thinking it’s OK to protest against rank-and-file cops?” asked one teacher.

Employers won’t hire her. She’s been berated with epithets like “dirty Jew.” Federal agents have guarded her house because of death threats. And she’s spent hundreds of thousands of dollars defending herself against accusations she orchestrated a coverup in a scandal that has come to represent everything Americans hate about the IRS. Lois Lerner is toxic — and she knows it. But she refuses to recede into anonymity or beg for forgiveness for her role in the IRS tea party-targeting scandal. “I didn’t do anything wrong,” Lerner said in her first press interview since the scandal broke 16 months ago. “I’m

President Obama is supporting the Secret Service in the wake of a deeply troubling incident in which a disturbed man jumped the White House fence, sprinted across the North Lawn, and actually entered the White House Friday evening. The man, 42 year-old Omar Gonzalez, had a folding knife in his pocket and had left 800 rounds of ammunition in his car not far from the White House. Gonzalez had also drawn the attention of authorities at least twice a few weeks ago — once in Virginia, when he was found with a sniper rifle, a sawed-off shotgun, and a map with

The United Nations Climate Summit will begin in New York this Tuesday, but environmental activists didn’t wait. All day Sunday, they filled the streets of Manhattan for a march that featured Al Gore, New York City mayor Bill de Blasio, and various Hollywood actors. But they certainly didn’t act like a movement that was winning. There was a tone of fatalism in the comments of many with whom I spoke; they despair that the kind of radical change they advocate probably won’t result from the normal democratic process. It’s no surprise then that the rhetoric of climate-change activists has become increasingly

Last week, esteemed doctor and one of our ObamaCare Architect Overlords penned a column for the Atlantic that should win a Pulitzer Prize for passive-aggressive shaming. Although Emanuel claims that *he* doesn´t want to live past the age of 75, the article itself could have been a listicle titled, "Top 15 Reasons No One Over 75 Should Receive Healthcare." Emanuel even includes a monstrous but brightly colored graph that is meant to tell anyone over 75 that their "last contribution" to society likely occurred more than a decade ago. Good God. He was a leading figure in one of the biggest climate change marches to date. But it seems Robert F Kennedy Jr was not so forthcoming when it came to questions about his own carbon footprint. Confronted by a reporter asking if he would give up his phone and car, the environmental lawyer became visibly irate before grabbing the microphone and accusing her of ´destroying democracy´ as a member of the press. The interview in New York yesterday afternoon started with a conversation about the number of flyers produced for the event, which Kennedy Jr claimed was necessary to garner ´people power´.

Previously unpublished correspondence between Hillary Clinton and the late left-wing organizer Saul Alinsky reveal new details about her relationship with the controversial Chicago activist and shed light on her early ideological development. Clinton met with Alinsky several times in 1968 while writing a Wellesley college thesis about his theory of community organizing. Clinton’s relationship with Alinsky, and her support for his philosophy, continued for several years after she entered Yale law school in 1969, two letters obtained by the Washington Free Beacon show. Lois Lerner says she is no Jeffrey Dahmer. The former Internal Revenue Service official referenced the infamous cannibalistic serial killer as she broke her silence for the first time about last year’s IRS scandal. Lerner told the website Politico that she has been the recipient of threats and hate mail, describing how one person called her “the worst person ever in the United States.” “I just thought, ‘Boy, worse than Jeffrey Dahmer?’” Lerner quipped. Lerner, who led the tax-exempt division of the IRS, was forced out of the agency after she found herself at the center of the scandal over the agency’s targeting of conservative groups

That’s why all our students should be eligible to join them.” The school has focused on issues with Greek life ever since a woman filed a lawsuit against Wesleyan two years ago

The United States and allies launched airstrikes against Sunni militants in Syria early Tuesday, unleashing a torrent of cruise missiles and precision-guided bombs from the air and sea on the militants’ de facto capital of Raqqa and along the porous Iraq border. American fighter jets and armed Predator and Reaper drones, flying alongside warplanes from several Arab allies, struck a broad array of targets in territory controlled by the militants, known as the Islamic State. American defense officials said the targets included weapons supplies, depots, barracks and buildings the militants use for command and control. Tomahawk cruise missiles were fired

During the Bush administration, national Democrat leaders threatened to kill the ABC network´s broadcast license if a miniseries unfavorable to the Clinton administration wasn´t censored to satisfy Democrats. ABC complied. Earlier this year, Democrats started a push for a Constitutional Amendment to gut (literally) the First Amendment. Over the weekend, Democrats launched a campaign to get -- in their own words -- "Rush Limbaugh off the air." The petition to get Limbaugh off the air comes straight from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) in the form of a fundraising/petition email. The idea is to use the muscle of the
