Ferguson - FOX 2 reporter George Sells interviews store owners that brought their own weapons to guard their store from looters. They talked to police who the owners say were in the parking lot at Dominos and would not help. The owners are not sure that they’re going to stay in business. Police will be holding a press conference at 2pm to address the looting that occurred overnight.

I guess hugs and kumbaya weren´t enough.

The looting is no more than stealing and covering it up with destroying the stores. As I said before, the people involved in this behavior are savages.

I wish with all my heart that my fellow white peoe would take the high road Nd refrain from looting. We are not entitled to free stuff just because it is there for the taking.
No wonder there are so few black people on the police force--if this is the culture of the black applicants, they have no business applying. Animals. This demeans the race. No wonder there are so many who distrust the black community. No standards of decency among so many of them. If the cop shot the kid in cold blood he deserves to be in jail. Right is right!

Don´t forget, THEY didn´t build those businesses, the government did. I´m surprised they want to protect government business.

The guy with the AR-15 said "I could have shot the looters -- I don´t want to do that". Now they get a feel for what its like to be a policeman.

As I said before, this has nothing to do with the shooting this is evidence of the moral deficiency that exists in the black community.

The person shot was a criminal, those that are looting, burning and rioting are criminals. If blacks are sick of being stereotyped then stop the irresponsible display in Ferguson.

You not getting back at whitey your only hurting yourselves and your community!

Business owners in Ferguson just made a huge mistake. They revealed that they have bullets for those weapons. Yes, bullets, a fact that will send Obama into a rage when he completes today´s 18 holes. "How did those folks get bullets? I told the USPS, EPA, Interior, NASA, NOAA and National Parks to buy every bullet of every caliber plus issue contracts for all future production, yet I find out that those store owners have bullets. Let me speak to that old white idiot, Biden, since I told him he responsible for purchasing every bullet in the US."

To Obama, we may have the right to bear arms but not the right to own bullets to defend ourselves.

It has *everything* to do with the shooting. The QT was believed to have been the store that was robbed. Hence, that was why it was hit first, and then burned down
After the press release, and figuring out it was that liquor store, instead, the mob moved to loot it, instead. The police stood by and did nothing, until they attempted tpto set it on fire.

Remember, this is the new police, with the cool kumbaya, lets hold hands and love each other state patrol guy.

He ended up, again, calling in 15 police agencies, like tge Chief of Police he "replaced".

I am guessing the kumbaya thing wasn´t built to last.

At what point do you get to defend your business with force? That opens a whole new can of worms but how long can a society let this go on just sitting by watching ?

All because a street thug wanted a box of cigars that belonged to someone else. Probably never heard that terribly old-fashioned commandment "Thou shall not steal."

I think we have discovered the problem. You do not call a press conference to address looting. You make arrests.
We all condemn heavy handed police, but the opposite is just as bad.
Hopefully the shop owners will not be prosecuted for defending their property, but they probably will be. Shop owners dont riot or fight the cops so they are easy to arrest.

If every store and every person did that there wouldn´t be a need for the Police to have so much, or any, military hardware. They´d just be there for cleanup and paperwork.

Even Jesus chased the money changers out of the synagogue. He might have used an AR or AK variant, instead of a whip, had they been available back then

The teachers union is pitting its members against cops — by sponsoring and promoting the Rev. Al Sharpton’s anti-police rally in Staten Island next week, The Post has learned. The United Federation of Teachers sent an “action alert” e-mail that even promised free transportation to Sharpton’s Aug. 23 demonstration that is billed as a march for justice for “victims of police brutality.” Some teachers were furious that the union would take such a prominent role in the event. “What a disgrace. What is going on with the leadership of the UFT thinking it’s OK to protest against rank-and-file cops?” asked one teacher.

A new Government Accountability Institute (GAI) report reveals that President Barack Obama has attended only 42.1% of his daily intelligence briefings (known officially as the Presidential Daily Brief, or PDB) in the 2,079 days of his presidency through September 29, 2014. The GAI report also included a breakdown of Obama’s PDB attendance record between terms; he attended 42.4% of his PDBs in his first term and 41.3% in his second. The GAI’s alarming findings come on the heels of Obama’s 60 Minutes comments on Sunday, wherein the president laid the blame for the Islamic State’s (ISIS) rapid rise squarely at

President Barack Obama has taken a lot of flack since his Sunday night “60 Minutes” interview, in which he blamed the intelligence community for his failure to tackle the threat posed by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. And that is right and proper. Because not only was his excuse of blaming us a lie, but when questioned on his lie, White House press secretary Josh Earnest doubled down with a whole new lie — both of which are easily, publicly proven false. On Sunday, Obama said the intelligence community had underestimated the rise of ISIS, saying in an interview

Former President Jimmy Carter claimed Wednesday that he would have been re-elected and beaten Ronald Reagan in 1980 if had been more “manly” in his dealings with Iran. Interviewed by the show "CNBC Meets," Carter repeated his belief that the failed mission to free American hostages held in Tehran killed his chances, but then added that had he gone to war, America would have rewarded him with a second term in 1980.

The Obama administration found itself scrambling on Tuesday to defend President Barack Obama for his lackluster 42% attendance record on daily intelligence briefings, a finding from a new report issued by the non-partisan Government Accountability Institute (GAI). When asked about the GAI revelation on Fox News, State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki appeared flustered and unprepared. "Well, I have no validation of those statistics," said Psaki. "There are a range of ways that you can get your intelligence briefings on the road, in the White House, and I know that he receives those whenever he can."

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention notified the media at 3:32 p.m. Tuesday that Dallas has the first diagnosed Ebola case in the nation. The federal agency scheduled a media briefing at 5:30 p.m. from its headquarters in Atlanta. Dallas County officials are expected to participate. Dallas County went through a day-long anxiety attack Tuesday, waiting to hear if the first Ebola diagnosis in the nation would happen here. An unnamed patient at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas was placed in isolation while awaiting test results for the dreaded virus. Apparently, the patient had traveled recently to a

The sympathetic news media is avoiding mentioning his name, instead they are blaming the lack of a football intro for the massive collapse in ratings Sunday night for President Barack Obama’s appearance on CBS’ 60 Minutes. Americans turned away from watching Obama even though he was being interviewed about the nation’s new war on ISIS. For example, Deadline Hollywood didn’t even mention Obama’s 60 Minutes interview when reporting on the drop in viewers. “With no football lead-in, CBS’ Sunday lineup fell from last week. As expected, the drop was steepest at 7 PM, with 60 Minutes (1.1) off by 69%

Well, that didn’t take long. Just two weeks into the new season of “The View,” co-hosts Rosie O’Donnell and Whoopi Goldberg tore into each other during a commercial break — in front of their stunned studio audience. The spat erupted Thursday after Goldberg interrupted O’Donnell to go to a commercial break before the mother of five was finished commenting in a “Hot Topic” discussion about spanking children on the ABC gabfest. O’Donnell refuses to wear an earpiece to stay in contact with producers while the live show is airing, so she had no clue it was time to stop talking.

Sacramento, Calif. - Gov. Jerry Brown on Tuesday signed legislation imposing the nation's first statewide ban on single-use plastic bags, driven to action by a buildup of litter and damage to aquatic ecosystems. A national coalition of plastic bag manufacturers immediately said it would seek a voter referendum to repeal the law, which is scheduled to take effect in July 2015. Under SB270, plastic bags will be phased out of large grocery stores starting next summer and convenience stores and pharmacies in 2016. The law allows grocers to charge a fee of at least 10 cents for using paper bags. State Sen. Alex Padilla, D-Los Angeles,

President Obama this week committed professional suicide. Let me explain. There is a theory in politics that once a leader has fired 50 or more people from his or her administration, he or she is finished. The reason being that by creating so many enemies ‘outside the tent’, the tent itself becomes too deluged with poisonous bile to avoid sinking into a quagmire of back-stabbing ignominy. Obama went a lot further than firing 50 people. He managed to single-handedly alienate 200,000 employees in the American intelligence agencies by going on 60 Minutes and ruthlessly chucking them all under a bus
