Guess who was missing at funeral

NBC News reports: U.S. Army Major General Harold Greene was buried today at Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors, including a caisson, two escort platoons, casket team, firing party, colors team, and a caparisoned horse. The U.S. Army band, “Pershing’s Own,” played softly as the funeral procession made its way down the long hill past the rows of simple white gravestones to bring General Greene to his final resting place. The graveside service began with a few words, followed by a 13-gun salute. The major general’s widow, Dr. Susan Myers, was seated in the front row. To her right

Hmmm....I assumed the current WH resident and perpetual golfer/vacationer and his beard wouldn´t be in attendance, but I didn´t think the highest ranking members of the present mal-administration would miss it as well. Class, and the distinct lack of it always shows.

If it were my husband, I would not want to see this POTUS, VP, or Sec Def there. Their words and actions already show the greatest disrespect and their presence would be political, hollow and offensive like all other things they do.

If I were a member of Gen. Greene´s family, I most certainly would not want Obama, Moochelle, or Biden there, with their phony sympathies.
I believe that is Valerie Jarrett standing behind the widow in the photograph? If so, I would have either asked her to leave or asked the Army Honor Guard to fire their 21 gun salute at her.

As for me, I wouldn´t want Obama near anyone or anything associated with me. Any appearance he would make would be out of pressure. But he was right there making trouble for Ferguson, MO. with his big mouth.

Do you all really think it was a ´´misspeak´´ when Obama said CORPSE-man three times? Of course not.... that´s how the left thinks about the military - that they just create corpses.

If anyone learns to listen and read the signals, it is excruciatingly clear how this man-child in charge of all our lives right now feels about this country, and us, and everything we value.

By the early 1930s, Herman J. Mankiewicz was a screenwriting genius who had secretly helped construct classic films such as “Monkey Business” and “Duck Soup” by the Marx Brothers and “The Wizard of Oz.” He was also, according to a new book by author Mark Bailey, a raging drunk who picked fights everywhere he went and insulted everyone from studio execs to actors in his films. It was once said, “religion is designed to comfort the afflicted and to afflict the comfortable.” Jesus’ parables – short stories with moral lessons – were likewise designed to afflict, to draw us in but leave us uncomfortable. These teachings can be read as being about divine love and salvation, sure. But, their first listeners – first century Jews in Galilee and Judea – heard much more challenging messages. Only when we hear the parables as Jesus’ own audience did can we fully experience their power and find ourselves surprised and challenged today. Here are four examples of Jesus’ teachings that everybody gets wrong: 1.

The whole point of setting the border between Mexico and the United States at the deepest channel of the Rio Grande was that the river was not supposed to move. That was the thinking in 1848, when, following Mexico’s defeat by the United States and surrender of its vast northern lands, boundary surveyors from the two countries were tasked with reinventing the border. The choice of the river for the boundary’s eastern half had been obvious: its use as a territorial marker stretched back into the region’s Spanish colonial past, and it was hard to miss and often difficult to

Three and a half months have come and gone and the Pentagon has offered no clarity on what happened to alleged Army deserter and Taliban collaborator Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl. Fellow soldiers and other critics fear the military’s now-delayed investigation is shaping up to be a whitewash. The case has become a political powder keg for President Obama. Since he traded five imprisoned Taliban leaders for Bergdahl, the US Government Accountability Office has declared the swap illegal, and nearly two dozen House Democrats have joined Republicans in officially condemning the move for making “Americans less safe.”
