Travis County’s Politicized
DA Gets Perry Indicted

PJ Media, by Bryan Preston

This is ridiculous. AUSTIN (KXAN) – A grand jury has handed up an indictment against Gov. Rick Perry in connection with the investigation into an effort to force Travis County District Attorney Rosemary Lehmberg to resign. Perry wanted Lehmberg to resign because she had been busted for drunk driving. It’s not good to have a drunk driver, captured on camera abusing the officers who arrested her, heading up the Public Integrity Unit. At the center of the issue is a complaint about intimidation stemming from Perry’s threat to veto of $7.5 million in state funding to the Public Integrity Unit

They can´t win elections, so they form a grand jury composed of useful low-fo idiots who rubber stamp an indictment. So, they have a deck of grand jury cards and a deck of race cards. Always taking the low road, the Democrat way.

This is all about putting the word ´indicted´ in front of every mention of Rick Perry. Brian Williams, the Morning Joe Crew, the hacks at Politico, now every single story will say "indicted governor, Rick Perry." With "corruption" being in the next sentence.

The Dems did this in Wisconsin with Scott Walker. This is all about criminalizing all republicans,

This is Hillary playbook, page 1. Another 30 lbs and Hillary would look like Rosemary. They both like to get drunk.

The Democrats have played this ethics complaint card against some of the cleanest people in the country: Sarah Palin, Tom DeLay, Scott Walker, now Rick Perry. It´s also been tried on Chris Christie in NJ. Susana Martinez had better watch her back.

I have tried to get the Republican Party of Texas to support a platform plank that calls for a bill to remove Texas Ethics complaints from the jurisdiction of the Travis County DA. The fools who hold that office are under the thumb of the national Dems, always trying to get Texas Republican politicians indicted.

Bob Strauss, Speaker of the Texas House, has refused to allow a bill changing this authority. Bob Strauss HAS GOTTA GO! If for no other reason, for this.

Another Democrat political indictment designed to criminalize politics. Look for the Democrats to call for Perry´s resignation as Governor of Texas. After that the Democrat prosecutors will keep Perry busy in court to ensure that he has no time to run for President for the next year or so. They will probably convict Perry on at least one felony count and the whole matter will not get straightened out until it hits some appeal court after the election. Remember what the Democrats did to DeLay, this is same game.

Also Sen Stevens of Alaska, corruption charges. He was defeated by the Democrat Begrich. But as usual after the election was found not guilty. Yep objective completed

U.S. jets began airstrikes in the ISIS stronghold of Raqqa, Syria, early Tuesday, a U.S. official told CNN. It´s the first strikes against the terror group inside the country since President Barack Obama´s announcement this month that he was prepared to expand the American efforts beyond targets in Iraq. All foreign partners participating in the strikes with the United States are Arab countries, a senior U.S. military official told CNN. Those nations are Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Jordan. Should we worry about mission creep? Only one week after President Obama said that he would not send combat troops to fight ISIS, Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, told the Senate that U.S. forces could "accompany Iraqi forces in attacks" if the situation deteriorated. As President Obama prepares to address the United Nations General Assembly this Wednesday, Americans are naturally wondering where this will all end. Some have raised the specter of Vietnam. The totalitarian impulse is all too familiar: since I represent Progress (and, of course, everyone who acts in the political realm fervently believes that he represents Progress) those who stand in my way are retrograde–evil, really–forces, that belong in the dustbin of history. Therefore, I might have to lock them up or kill them to ensure that Progress prevails. Until recently, the totalitarian impulse has been blessedly absent from American politics. Now, however, the American left has caught the totalitarian bug that infected Lenin, Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Mao, Ho Chi Minh, Castro, and so many others. A case in point:

It didn't take long for the Islamic State to exploit the weaknesses in President Obama’s campaign against it. Last week the militants launched an offensive against a Kurdish-populated area of northern Syria — where Mr. Obama has yet to approve U.S. airstrikes or supply aid to local forces. By Monday, more than 130,000 people had fled across the border to Turkey, and local commanders said they desperately needed help to defend the strategic town of Kobane. Mr. Obama has been slow-walking the approval of a Pentagon campaign plan including airstrikes in Syria while seeking commitments from nations in the region.

The Secret Service commissioned a classified mock attack two decades ago that found an easy way to pierce the White House security zone: Overwhelm Secret Service officers on the compound with six to eight attackers climbing over the fence at the same time. That vulnerability remains, despite the creation of specially trained counterassault and surveillance teams recommended at the time, according to government officials who were briefed on the findings and requested anonymity to discuss sensitive information. Note: Read the Hillary Clinton-Saul Alinsky Letters here. Previously unpublished correspondence between Hillary Clinton and the late left-wing organizer Saul Alinsky reveal new details about her relationship with the controversial Chicago activist and shed light on her early ideological development. Clinton met with Alinsky several times in 1968 while writing a Wellesley college thesis about his theory of community organizing. Clinton’s relationship with Alinsky, and her support for his philosophy, continued for several years after she entered Yale law school in 1969, two letters obtained by the Washington Free Beacon show. Lois Lerner says she is no Jeffrey Dahmer. The former Internal Revenue Service official referenced the infamous cannibalistic serial killer as she broke her silence for the first time about last year’s IRS scandal. Lerner told the website Politico that she has been the recipient of threats and hate mail, describing how one person called her “the worst person ever in the United States.” “I just thought, ‘Boy, worse than Jeffrey Dahmer?’” Lerner quipped. Lerner, who led the tax-exempt division of the IRS, was forced out of the agency after she found herself at the center of the scandal over the agency’s targeting of conservative groups

Fraternities at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut, must start accepting women and all residential fraternities must become fully co-educational over the next three years, the school’s Board of Trustees has ruled. The decision was made “with equality and inclusion in mind,” school President Michael Roth and Trustee Chairman Joshua Boger wrote in an email to students on Monday, Business Insider reported. “Our residential Greek organizations inspire loyalty, community and independence. That’s why all our students should be eligible to join them.” The school has focused on issues with Greek life ever since a woman filed a lawsuit against Wesleyan two years ago

During the Bush administration, national Democrat leaders threatened to kill the ABC network´s broadcast license if a miniseries unfavorable to the Clinton administration wasn´t censored to satisfy Democrats. ABC complied. Earlier this year, Democrats started a push for a Constitutional Amendment to gut (literally) the First Amendment. Over the weekend, Democrats launched a campaign to get -- in their own words -- "Rush Limbaugh off the air." The petition to get Limbaugh off the air comes straight from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) in the form of a fundraising/petition email. The idea is to use the muscle of the

Gen. Michael Nagata is promising to build a new force to destroy ISIS, but lawmakers worry he has been given an impossible mission. As lawmakers prepared to take a risky and fateful vote on Obama’s plan to train and equip the Syrian rebels, the man who assured them it could be done was Gen. Michael Nagata, Obama’s point man for the mission to build an ISIS-killing army in Syria. There are skeptics both inside and outside the government who doubt Obama’s new plan to arm the Syrian rebels can work. First of all, the administration has said for years that the moderate
