Travis County’s Politicized
DA Gets Perry Indicted

PJ Media, by Bryan Preston

Original Article

This is ridiculous. AUSTIN (KXAN) – A grand jury has handed up an indictment against Gov. Rick Perry in connection with the investigation into an effort to force Travis County District Attorney Rosemary Lehmberg to resign. Perry wanted Lehmberg to resign because she had been busted for drunk driving. It’s not good to have a drunk driver, captured on camera abusing the officers who arrested her, heading up the Public Integrity Unit. At the center of the issue is a complaint about intimidation stemming from Perry’s threat to veto of $7.5 million in state funding to the Public Integrity Unit

They can´t win elections, so they form a grand jury composed of useful low-fo idiots who rubber stamp an indictment. So, they have a deck of grand jury cards and a deck of race cards. Always taking the low road, the Democrat way.

This is all about putting the word ´indicted´ in front of every mention of Rick Perry. Brian Williams, the Morning Joe Crew, the hacks at Politico, now every single story will say "indicted governor, Rick Perry." With "corruption" being in the next sentence.

The Dems did this in Wisconsin with Scott Walker. This is all about criminalizing all republicans,

Lehmbergs BA was .23. She wasn´t drunk, she was plastered. Anyone with an ounce of integrity would resign. She was the leading law enforcement officer of Travis County. This is a cheap political shot. I think it goes nowhere.

This is Hillary playbook, page 1. Another 30 lbs and Hillary would look like Rosemary. They both like to get drunk.

The Democrats have played this ethics complaint card against some of the cleanest people in the country: Sarah Palin, Tom DeLay, Scott Walker, now Rick Perry. It´s also been tried on Chris Christie in NJ. Susana Martinez had better watch her back.

I have tried to get the Republican Party of Texas to support a platform plank that calls for a bill to remove Texas Ethics complaints from the jurisdiction of the Travis County DA. The fools who hold that office are under the thumb of the national Dems, always trying to get Texas Republican politicians indicted.

Bob Strauss, Speaker of the Texas House, has refused to allow a bill changing this authority. Bob Strauss HAS GOTTA GO! If for no other reason, for this.

Another Democrat political indictment designed to criminalize politics. Look for the Democrats to call for Perry´s resignation as Governor of Texas. After that the Democrat prosecutors will keep Perry busy in court to ensure that he has no time to run for President for the next year or so. They will probably convict Perry on at least one felony count and the whole matter will not get straightened out until it hits some appeal court after the election. Remember what the Democrats did to DeLay, this is same game.

The confirmation Tuesday of the first Ebola case on U.S. soil emerges against a backdrop of increasing concern in America’s medical community that preparedness for a pandemic has stagnated or slipped in recent years because of tough economic times and increasing malaise since the 2001 anthrax threat. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, America’s premier disease fighter, offered the air of confidence in declaring that the first Ebola patient in Dallas was carefully contained. But earlier this year, it sounded less optimistic about the U.S. health system’s ability to fight a pandemic should a major disease outbreak occur.

But instead of introducing the expected name, "Windows 9," Microsoft announced it will jump to "Windows 10." Yes, Microsoft can still count. The name “represents the first step of a whole new generation of Windows,” Terry Myerson, the Microsoft executive vice president in charge of the Windows division, said in a company blog post. U.S. policy leaders, including President Obama, were repeatedly warned for more than a year by the U.S. intelligence community that the Islamic State terror group was gaining significant strength in Syria and was on the verge of seizing territory deep inside Iraq, where the military was struggling to respond. President Obama shared an elevator earlier this month with an armed security contractor who has three felony convictions relating to assault and battery, in the latest report of a serious violation of Secret Service security protocols. Multiple sources confirmed to Fox News the incident, which took place in an elevator during Obama´s Sept. 16 visit to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta. The incident was first reported by The Washington Post and the Washington Examiner. The latest embarrassment for the Secret Service comes after agency Director Julia Pierson told lawmakers at a Tuesday hearing

President Obama firmly believes the United States is better off now than when he took office, even though the American people cannot “feel” it. During an interview with 60 Minutes’ Steve Kroft, Obama said, “the country is definitely better off than when I came into office.” “When I came into office, our economy was in crisis,” Obama said. The president then cited lower unemployment, private sector job growth, and deficit cuts as evidence of his administration’s success. “I can put my record against any leader around the world in terms of digging ourselves out of a terrible, almost unprecedented financial crisis,” Obama said. President Barack Obama has taken a lot of flack since his Sunday night “60 Minutes” interview, in which he blamed the intelligence community for his failure to tackle the threat posed by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. And that is right and proper. Because not only was his excuse of blaming us a lie, but when questioned on his lie, White House press secretary Josh Earnest doubled down with a whole new lie — both of which are easily, publicly proven false. On Sunday, Obama said the intelligence community had underestimated the rise of ISIS, saying in an interview

The sympathetic news media is avoiding mentioning his name, instead they are blaming the lack of a football intro for the massive collapse in ratings Sunday night for President Barack Obama’s appearance on CBS’ 60 Minutes. Americans turned away from watching Obama even though he was being interviewed about the nation’s new war on ISIS. For example, Deadline Hollywood didn’t even mention Obama’s 60 Minutes interview when reporting on the drop in viewers. “With no football lead-in, CBS’ Sunday lineup fell from last week. As expected, the drop was steepest at 7 PM, with 60 Minutes (1.1) off by 69%

Well, that didn’t take long. Just two weeks into the new season of “The View,” co-hosts Rosie O’Donnell and Whoopi Goldberg tore into each other during a commercial break — in front of their stunned studio audience. The spat erupted Thursday after Goldberg interrupted O’Donnell to go to a commercial break before the mother of five was finished commenting in a “Hot Topic” discussion about spanking children on the ABC gabfest. O’Donnell refuses to wear an earpiece to stay in contact with producers while the live show is airing, so she had no clue it was time to stop talking.

President Barack Obama´s intelligence briefings have provided him with specific information since before he won re-election in 2012 about the growing threat of the terror group now known alternatively as ISIS and ISIL, an administration insider told MailOnline on Monday. ´Unless someone very senior has been shredding the president´s daily briefings and telling him that the dog ate them, highly accurate predictions about ISIL have been showing up in the Oval Office since before the 2012 election,´(snip) ´Any time you´re hired by a boss to advise him about what to do in a high-stakes area, and he ignores you for

Sacramento, Calif. - Gov. Jerry Brown on Tuesday signed legislation imposing the nation's first statewide ban on single-use plastic bags, driven to action by a buildup of litter and damage to aquatic ecosystems. A national coalition of plastic bag manufacturers immediately said it would seek a voter referendum to repeal the law, which is scheduled to take effect in July 2015. Under SB270, plastic bags will be phased out of large grocery stores starting next summer and convenience stores and pharmacies in 2016. The law allows grocers to charge a fee of at least 10 cents for using paper bags. State Sen. Alex Padilla, D-Los Angeles,
