Senator Mike Enzi (R-WY) recently introduced a bill in the Senate titled the Child Welfare Provider Inclusion Act of 2014. Its purpose is “to prohibit governmental entities from discriminating or taking an adverse action against a child welfare service provider on the basis that the provider declines to provide a child welfare service that conflicts, or under circumstances that conflict, with the sincerely held religious beliefs or moral convictions of the provider.” (Snip) In recent years, some religious child welfare providers who believe that children deserve to be placed with married mothers and fathers have lost government funding and have

The only demonstrations or sign-toting marchers will be by the LGBT side of the church. The judiciary is where the focus needs to be regarding which child gets placed where, but we both know that ain´t gonna happen.

We need a national database of all those who affiliate themselves with LGBT. I remember a country in Europe that did a similar thing and when things went bad, round-ups occured.

Children are denied the 96.6% of adults who identify as "straight" as foster parents, in order not to hurt the feelings of the 3% or so who identify otherwise.

Can that 3% possibly take care of all the children who will no longer be cared for by religious child welfare organizations?

Has anyone tried to adopt a baby recently? With demand at an all time high for babies/toddlers, but not so much for older children, the LGBT movement is demanding that the orphanages give preference to LGBT couples or get out of the orphanage business. I think the real issue here is to take away raising children as an activity best carried out by man and woman committed to each other by marriage.

Isn´t this really very narrow religious discrimination by the government.

Which churches provide child welfare services?

Which of those won´t place with LGBT?

Just as "public" school is now a government indoctrination camp existing for the prosperity and welfare of a huge Democrat voting block NOT the excellent education of American children, so are child "welfare" agencies now forced to commit child abuse for the wishes of particular sexually messed up individuals!

An extraordinary item from Peter Baker in the New York Times: WASHINGTON — President Obama must be touched by all the concern Republicans are showing him these days. As Congress examines security breaches at the White House, even opposition lawmakers who have spent the last six years fighting his every initiative have expressed deep worry for his security. “Even”? Can it really be too difficult to recognize that citizens who strongly disagree with the president of the republic don’t want him to be murdered? So the five Afghan soldiers who went missing from two separate U.S. military bases are now all accounted for and apparently headed back to their home country. Feel safer now? Don’t. The Pentagon, State Department, and Department of Homeland Security would like this story to be over and done. (Just like they wanted the White House “fence-jumper” story to be buried. But then we found out he didn’t just jump the fence; he also overpowered a Secret Service agent, burst through the halls, and invaded the East Room wielding a knife.) Here are my nagging questions about another hushed-up national-security incident

If one is looking for reasons why Washington has become so caustic, divisive and bitter, look no further than retiring Attorney General Eric Holder. If reports first published by the Los Angeles Times are correct, the always controversial Holder, aged 63, will soon announce a new and permanent ban on so-called ‘religious profiling’ designed to better protect those suspected of jihadist or Islamist activities from federal surveillance. At the very moment the American state, local and federal law enforcement are trying to get a handle on a spate of Islamist-inspired beheadings and the discovery that Islamic State terror cells are active

Australian researchers say an ingredient in anti-impotence drugs may permanently affect the vision of men with an inherited eye condition. It could also affect those with normal sight who carry one gene which is linked with developing eye problems. One theory is that erectile dysfunction drugs may obstruct an enzyme which is important for transmitting light signals from the retina to the brain. It is already known that sildenafil, the active ingredient in the erectile dysfunction medication, can cause

Sacramento, Calif. - Gov. A national coalition of plastic bag manufacturers immediately said it would seek a voter referendum to repeal the law, which is scheduled to take effect in July 2015. Under SB270, plastic bags will be phased out of large grocery stores starting next summer and convenience stores and pharmacies in 2016.
