Judge launches special inquiry into missing
IRS emails and Lerner hard drive

Legal Insurrection, by William A. Jacobson

Judicial Watch has sued over missing IRS emails in the federal district court in D.C., pursuant to its FOIA request for such documents. The IRS was ordered to provide explanations as to missing emails, particularly Lois Lerner. The IRS provided explanations, but those were not good enough for the Judge, who launched his own inquiry into the matter, as Judicial Watch explained in a statement posted on its website: Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton made the following statement in response to today’s order from Judge Emmet G. Sullivan regarding the recently “lost” emails of Lois Lerner and other IRS officials,

MINUTE ORDER. In light of [26] the Declarations filed by the IRS, the IRS is hereby ORDERED to file a sworn Declaration, by an official with the authority to speak under oath for the Agency, by no later than August 22, 2014.

This isn´t as easy as lying to Congress ... I wonder who at the IRS will be "it. Only 8 days away.

This is a very positive development. Some of the other branches of government must step forward to hold the executive branch ( Obama ) responsible for shredding the constitution. The Congress under Boehner, McConnell and Reid are hopeless. Obama walks all over them just as Putin walks all over Obama! I am amazed that the many provocations Obama has done against good patriotic citizens have yet to succeed in getting someone to react in a way that would give Obama the pretext he is looking for to crush a revolt. It is the population that is resisting violence while the alinskyite elite in government are pushing it! Everyone should be avoiding it! Leaders of the other branches of government must do their job and stop the imperial president because the last refuge is the second amendment - violence when nothing else has worked. This Judge´s action is one step in the right direction! Bravo!

I´m sure many LDotters know the history of Larry Clayman´s Judicial Watch but it is worth noticing how it may have been one of the ancestral roots of the Tea Party in its intent. I remember the tenacity they showed during the Clinton crime spree and the flack they took from the MSM for being ´conspiracy kooks´.
Ironically they are doing the job that a real media would have done already. This fact doesn´t even seem to faze the media- but hey! What´s new in the Robin Williams story?

As has been stated in so many ways by other posters, we owe very much to Judicial Watch for their service to our country.

If the first tech guy saw no damage to Lerner´s hard drive and the second tech did, it sure looks like someone deliberately destroyed her hard drive and didn´t want anything recovered off of it. To go to such lengths, means this is much deeper than just Lyin´ Lois. If I were the tech he testified about the hard drive not being damaged, I´d want 24 hour bodyguards.
With all the missing e-mails and e-mails being ordered to be destroyed, there is something really rotten in Washington these days. The sewers are beginning to back up!!!!

AUSTIN -- A divided federal appeals court ruled Thursday evening to allow Texas´s tough new abortion regulations to take effect, a decision that is expected to force all but seven clinics in the state to close. The ruling from a three-judge panel of the 5th Circuit of the U.S. Court of Appeals at least temporarily reversed a decision by a local judge who struck down two provisions of the law as unconstitutional in August. The order signed by Judges Jennifer Walker Elrod and Jerry E. Smith found that Texas officials were likely to ultimately win their appeal in defense of

President Obama this week committed professional suicide. Let me explain. There is a theory in politics that once a leader has fired 50 or more people from his or her administration, he or she is finished. The reason being that by creating so many enemies ‘outside the tent’, the tent itself becomes too deluged with poisonous bile to avoid sinking into a quagmire of back-stabbing ignominy. Obama went a lot further than firing 50 people. He managed to single-handedly alienate 200,000 employees in the American intelligence agencies by going on 60 Minutes and ruthlessly chucking them all under a bus

HOUSTON, Texas -- Former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay was found not guilty today by the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. This is the highest appellate court in Texas for criminal cases and thus brings DeLay’s political persecution to an end. The court upheld the ruling last year from the Texas 3rd Court of Appeals. That decision tossed out the convictions on money laundering and conspiracy charges. At that time Justice Melissa Goodwin wrote “The fundamental problem with the state´s case was its failure to prove proceeds of criminal activity,” according to a September 19th report on Breitbart News.
