Mexican Billionaire, NYT Minority

Breitbart Big Government, by Tony Lee

Carlos Slim, the Mexican billionaire who also owns a minority stake in The New York Times, is reportedly launching an effort to bring every illegal immigrant DREAMer into the workforce. As Bloomberg News noted, Slim is the world’s second-richest person--second only to Bill Gates--and he "has introduced a campaign to integrate about half a million" DREAMers into the U.S. workforce. According to Bloomberg, "About 1.1 million people in the U.S. are eligible for work authorization" under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, but "only about half have been approved." Roberto Tapia-Conyer, CEO of Carlos Slim Foundation, told Bloomberg News that

It´s pretty clear that the very rich along with the many special interest groups are really running the USA with ordinary Americans having little say.

This Mexican billionaire is a foreigner and should not be telling the USA what the US immigration laws should be or who can work in the USA. If he had used his money to put Mexicans to work in Mexico at a wage with which they could live, the USA would not not have millions of mostly all poor and uneducated Mexican illegal aliens in this country.

For this to work, Mr. Slim, why not have the New York Times employ these illegal aliens at the New York Times for 0bama´s stated minimum wage. How long before the editorial pages run RED with banner headlines from reporters, staff, unions decrying that it IS a good idea, but not in my "neighborhood."

Carlos, if you want to help your fellow countrymen, please offer a job to the estimated 12 million already here. Then tell the millions planning to come to stay at home for a while to give the millions waiting in line for legal immigration a chance to get processed.

The biggest problem with the legal immigration process is that it takes so very long that illegals bypass it entirely. Imagine if you needed a sponsor who would vouch for your character and ensure that you got a job and had a community the would back you up in case of problems. There are millions of those waiting patiently in line. The Democrats are thumbing their note at them and taxpayers.

Megyn Kelly faced off with State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki tonight over claims by former Obama Cabinet official Leon Panetta that withdrawing troops from Iraq may have caused the current chaos going on in that country. Kelly pressed Psaki on exactly why President Obama didn’t want to leave a residual force of several thousand troops behind in Iraq. Psaki insisted that these accounts of what happened three years ago were not based on facts, arguing that the U.S. couldn’t simply force all those troops on a sovereign nation, and troops didn’t have the protections they needed. Psaki also told Kelly

An American freelance cameraman working for NBC News in Liberia has tested positive for Ebola and will be flown back to the United States for treatment. The infected freelancer was hired Tuesday to be a second cameraman for NBC News Chief Medical Editor and Correspondent Dr. Nancy Snyderman. Snyderman is with three other NBC News employees on assignment in Monrovia, reporting on the Ebola outbreak. The freelancer came down with symptoms on Wednesday, feeling tired and achy. As part of a routine temperature check, he discovered he was running a slight fever. He immediately quarantined himself and sought medical advice.

Health officials are refusing to answer growing questions about their response to the first Ebola case in the United States. Under intense questioning from reporters, officials with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Texas health department and the City of Dallas repeatedly declined Thursday to provide details about the steps being taken to prevent an outbreak. Texas Health Commissioner David Lakey, who participated in one press call Thursday, would not identify or describe the four individuals who have been quarantined due to possible exposure to Ebola. They were later referred to as "family members" at a separate press

The new details about the extent of the cyberattack — which began in June but was not discovered until July — sent JPMorgan scrambling for the second time in just three months to contain the fallout. President Obama this week committed professional suicide. Let me explain. There is a theory in politics that once a leader has fired 50 or more people from his or her administration, he or she is finished. The reason being that by creating so many enemies ‘outside the tent’, the tent itself becomes too deluged with poisonous bile to avoid sinking into a quagmire of back-stabbing ignominy. Obama went a lot further than firing 50 people. He managed to single-handedly alienate 200,000 employees in the American intelligence agencies by going on 60 Minutes and ruthlessly chucking them all under a bus

HOUSTON, Texas -- Former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay was found not guilty today by the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. This is the highest appellate court in Texas for criminal cases and thus brings DeLay’s political persecution to an end. The court upheld the ruling last year from the Texas 3rd Court of Appeals. That decision tossed out the convictions on money laundering and conspiracy charges. At that time Justice Melissa Goodwin wrote “The fundamental problem with the state´s case was its failure to prove proceeds of criminal activity,” according to a September 19th report on Breitbart News.
