Mother Jones Writer Wonders What
Happened in the ‘90s That Made
Republicans Hate the Earth?

NewsBusters, by Tom Johnson

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 8/14/2014 11:24:57 AM

Liberals like Chris Mooney of Mother Jones agree that today’s Republican party is “environmental[ly] retrograde,” but often acknowledge it wasn’t like that a few decades ago. For example, as Mooney noted in a Tuesday post, a GOP president, Richard Nixon, established the EPA. Mooney reports, however, that in the early 1990s the party as a whole grew distinctly more hostile towards environmentalism. He touches on several possible explanations, including a backlash against the newly elected vice president, Earth in the Balance author Al Gore, as well as a theory that after the Soviet Union collapsed, environmentalists succeeded Communists as major objects

Heavy sigh. What made these insane leftists hate people so much that they want to bankrupt every country in the world by instituting carbon taxes based solely on fraudulent science?

We don´t hate the Earth...we hate the Liberals and other Communists, like the author, who use the Earth as a ´human´ shield to enact new crippling taxes and try to deprive us of our land and sovereignty via the UN Agenda 21...that´s who we hate.

If you could convince people the sky is falling, you could force them to buy sky insurance. Then you could tax and regulate the sky insurance carriers, and redistribute the income to companies that make helmets and sky umbrellas, all of which would conveniently contribute to your political party. Yeah, that´s the ticket!

In the 70s and early 80s, there were REAL pollution issued to be solved. Many conservatives, are also hunters, outdoor people and backpackers, so protection of the air, water and such is important. By the middle 80s, two things were happening - the REAL pollution issues had been largely solved -new cars put out a few percent of the pollution that they did in the 60s, the air and water were dramatically cleaner and many USEFUL regulations were in place.
Many "environmentalists" who are politically conservative then moved on, and pretty much the entire "green" movement was taken over by the hard leftists and communists. Now that the REAL air pollution and water pollution problems are largely solved, the haters, crazies and leftist have created a new power coalition, often referred to as the enviroNazis, after taking over formerly reasonable groups. There is no limit to the power that they demand to "save the environment", when by most sane measures, it is already saved.
We don´t hate the environment, we hate hard corp leftist crazies using a problem that has been largely solved as a bludgeon to take control of EVERYTHING under the guise of "saving the environment".

One of the founders of Greenpeace has written that he extremely regrets not shutting down the organization when they had reached all their original goals within a decade, and hates that extremist leftist have taken it over.

In defense of former President Nixon, he was responding to an acute need when he instituted EPA.[see above posters], a time when there was real pollution. He would not recognize the EPA in its present format and enviro-Nazi agenda, therefore it is a spurious argument to reflect blame on Nixon.

I changed my mind about environmentaism when they took control of my toilet, microwave, oven, washer and dryer, automobile, and various other mechanical items that once made my life so much easier.

This was a huge power grab that went too far, and the beginning of less clean, less efficient, less dependable "time saving devices".

My conclusion can only be, Leftism (eco-nazism) is a Mental Disorder, and it´s team members have staff to accomplish all of life´s necessary chores. That is why they are so out of touch with real life and the scam of Global Warming/Cooling Change.

Sorry, Mother Jones. It´s not going to work. Hating what environ-mentalism has become is not the same as hating the earth. The two are not synonymous. It is now environ-mentalists who hate the earth. CO2 is necessary for life on Earth, and the more the better for plant growth. Why do you hate green plants? Why do you hate life on earth? The environ-mental war against CO2 is a war against life.

The environmental activists today are mostly white liberal democrats looking to divide people.
Thus, it´s WLD (white liberal democrats) who have decided to bankrupt coal industry and the thousands of jobs it supports.

It´s WLD who are advocating for higher gasoline prices, electricity prices and food prices.

And they use the EPA to isolate the rich WLD along the Coast away from "those people".
