Obama delayed attacking ISIS

Investor´s Business Daily, by Andrew Malcolm

There is, as you may have heard, a growing online library of ISIS videos and photos, proudly portraying the most vividly graphic images of terrorists acts against other humans during its ongoing march across Iraq. We do not recommend seeking out these profane boasts for they will forever be seared into your minds-eye. [Snip] So, it was with some pride that many of us heard President Obama the other day say: “When you have a unique circumstance in which genocide is threatened, and a country is willing to have us in there, you have a strong international consensus that these

We have bombed ISIS, therefore in their minds we are at war with them. The terrorist savage timeline is very long, if they were not going to hit us before they will now, just a matter of when.

IMHO, cruel as it sounds we should either do nothing or go big enough to wipe them off the face of the earth. No nation building just exterminate them and leave.

He msy go snd hit a little white ball around a golf course, but his chess game isn´t worth a hill of beans. He is no good at international relations and state, and neither is his secretary of state. So his "policy" is faulty. If he has one. He could very well be all little moves and no policy, no overarching strategy that makes sense.

Above his pay grade.

What´s Michelle Obama

"I love you too, Wisconsin!" Sounds like Barack Obama´s standard speech opening after someone in the adoring audience on cue shouts, "We love you, Barack!" Except these days it isn´t Barack. It´s the other Obama, Michelle, the one who became suddenly so proud of America back in 2008 when her husband was first running for presidnt. To be sure, she´s still doing the goody-goody, Tide-clean first lady stuff that they all do with students, moms and kids. But Mrs. Obama has also again taken on an aggressive role for Nov. 4.

A couple of weeks ago, Barack "If You Like Your Health Plan" Obama assured Americans the penetration of the deadly Ebola virus into the United States was an "unlikely event." Now that the first confirmed case is here already, ravaging the feverish body of an unidentified visitor from Liberia quarantined in a Dallas hospital, Obama is, as you´d expect, out of town raising money. He´s in Chicago where he dined late last night with pals in the trendy River North area. Today, he´ll attend a fundraiser [Snip] then try to change the subject of national public discussion from his ISIS

Remember back in the 2012 presidential campaign when Barack Obama said things like: "Al Qaeda is on the run. We have decimated its core leadership. And Osama bin Laden is dead. But I don´t want Americans to think the struggle against terror is over. It´s not, by any means. We have a long fight ahead. By 2014, new terrorist groups may spring up and we´ll be back fighting in the Middle East." Neither do we.

Senate nominee Thom Tillis gives the Republican Party´s Weekly Remarks: Hi. I’m Thom Tillis, the Republican nominee for the United State Senate in the great state of North Carolina. Over the last four years, I’ve had the honor of serving as the Speaker of the House in the State Assembly, but my journey to get there is what defines the American dream. I was brought-up in a working-class family with my mother and father and five siblings. My parents often had to work two jobs to make ends meet. We lived on the economic bubble and were constantly forced to pack up our belongings and move from state to state,

President Obama´s weekly remarks: Hi, everybody. American leadership is the one constant in an uncertain world. That was true this week, as we mobilized the world to confront some of our most urgent challenges. America is leading the world in the fight to degrade and ultimately destroy the terrorist group known as ISIL. On Monday, our brave men and women in uniform began air strikes against ISIL targets in Syria. And they weren’t alone. I made it clear that America would act as part of a broad coalition, and we were joined in this action by friends and partners, including Arab nations. At the United Nations in New York,

Joe Biden, according to his former Obama cabinet colleague Robert Gates, has the singular distinction of being wrong on just about every major foreign policy question in the last four decades. Even when he plagiarized. Biden opposed the Osama bin Laden assassination. Like Obama, Biden also opposed President Bush´s Iraq troop surge. Like Obama, Biden said the surge would actually make things worse in Iraq. The military salute is a simple hand gesture but loaded with tradition, honor, symbolism and packed with respect, both given and returned. It began in the days of chivalry when knights would raise their right hand approaching other knights to show they had no weapon unsheathed. The salute seems often to confound civilians without military experience, who see it as somewhat akin to a fraternity hand sign. Every modern president since Truman has had military (and saluting) experience -- except two Democrats. And both Bill Clinton and Barack Obama have had trouble with the salute.

Lurching on to the new week´s next news diversion, the Obama administration announced new regulations Monday to punish U.S. businesses that employ Americans, make profits and seek to protect the gains for shareholders, as is their fiduciary responsibility. The over-hyped administration moves came against so-called business inversions, a perfectly legal pro forma shift of corporate headquarters to a foreign country with corporate taxes lower than the United States´ confiscatory 35% rate. The goal was to crimp the economic appeal of such moves. Although Russia and North Korea would not be recommended, the money-saving

President Obama´s weekly remarks Over the past week, the United States has continued to lead our friends and allies in the strategy to degrade and ultimately destroy the terrorist group known as ISIL. As I’ve said before, our intelligence community has not yet detected specific plots from these terrorists against America. Right now, they pose a threat to the people of Iraq, Syria, and the broader Middle East. But its leaders have threatened America and our allies. And if left unchecked, they could pose a growing threat to the United States.

Seeking to change the ISIS narrative from "we have no strategy" to "we can do this," President Obama visited the headquarters of CENTCOM and Special Ops in Florida Wednesday and said: "I´m not here to give a long speech." (It was 2,700 words in length.) Once again, the commander-in-chief placed great emphasis for his immediate and global audiences on what he is not going to do: "As your Commander-in-Chief, I will not commit you and the rest of our Armed Forces to fighting another ground war in Iraq."

The quintessential question of Watergate was “what did the President know and when did he know it?” Obamagate, the vast scandal that encompasses an entire presidency, offers a preemptive answer. Obama didn’t know anything and he never knew it. At least not until, like smuggling weapons to druglords, bugging journalists, IRSing his political enemies and killing vets, his right hand found out about what his left hand was doing from the morning paper. After skipping 58% of his daily intelligence briefings in Term 1 and 59% of them in Term 2, he went on 60 Minutes and blamed intelligence agencies for being

President Obama was at Northwestern University on Thursday to deliver an economic speech that, he and his team hoped, would lay out the case for why the public is better off today than they were six years ago -- even if they didn´t feel it in their everday lives. Instead, Obama just gave every Republican ad-maker in the country more fodder for negative ads linking Democratic candidates to him. Here are the four sentences that will draw all of the attention (they come more than two thirds of the way through the speech): "I am not on the ballot this

A recent fight between Rosie O´Donnell and Whoopi Goldberg has producers at The View looking to add a cool-down room for the ladies. After being cut off by Goldberg during an episode last week so the show could go to commercial, O´Donnell began to express how upset she was and, after being told repeatedly by Goldberg it was not the right time to have that discussion, eventually got cursed out by the Oscar winner. A presidential defeat isn’t an easy thing to bounce back from. And Mitt Romney did it twice. So it was understandable that after he lost the presidential race in 2012, he was adamant about closing the door to the possibility of a third campaign. But recently, speculation is whirling that Romney may not be so adamant anymore. When asked if he was running in a New York Times interview published earlier this week, Romney said : “I have nothing to add to the story. We’ve got a lot of people looking at the race,” he said. “We’ll see what happens.” That response, which
