Is your grocery bill supporting
your political opponents?
Now you can avoid it.

Bet the last time you were sipping Campbell’s soup or popping Pringles chips it never occurred to you that your eating habits could be political. But every product has a parent company and most major corporations make political contributions. (Snip) Enter Matthew Colbert, a former campaign and Hill staffer, who has built a new app for smartphones that allows users to scan the barcode of products in the grocery store and immediately find out what political party the company and its employees support.

One part of me likes the idea of flipping the bird to these leftist-hugging companies hiding behind their profit margins. The other part of me is fed up with literally everything becoming partisan now. How the employees donate really doesn´t matter though.

Now if we can just come up with an app on the TV that displays who is funding the ´news´ broadcasts...oh wait..advertisers.. never mind.

A recent study found that voters preferences have absolutely no impact on the policies of the federal government. How you shop for groceries won´t make a bit of difference.

If you read the comments you will realize that the app is only as good as the information in it. It could become a way to misinform and steer your vote.
I immediately suspected this from the source of the article. Low information liberals with a bias against corporations are easily led.

I do not buy anything that I know helps fund the Marxist democrats, er progressives, uh liberals, er uh politically correct, UN, you name it. Even republicans are checked to make sure they are conservative and if not no money to them and no money to the RNC period.

I haven´t bought a Campbell´s product ever since the company announced that all its products would be halal in the future. There´s probably a little logo to that effect somewhere on the label. And I´m sure the kosher logo is there too. But there´s a difference: Muslims demanded it, Jews didn´t.

There´s already an app like this for conservatives and it has been around for over a year. It´s called 2nd Vote and it lists the companies without you having to scan a bar code.

Leftists don´t need this app. All they need to do is to shop only at places like Whole Foods and their local health food stores.

There are lots of companies that I boycott and my list keeps growing. The latest addition being Nabisco after their homosexual family television ads.

A new report showing the continued pileup of unpaid medical bills in states that didn’t expand Medicaid under the Affordable Care Act is escalating criticism on these Republican-led areas of the country to expand the health insurance program for the poor. The report out last week from the Obama administration shows the costs of uncompensated care are projected to fall by $5.7 billion this year largely because millions of Americans are eligible for expanded Medicaid insurance for the poor under the Affordable Care Act and they are taking advantage. About half of U.S. states opted in favor of expanding Medicaid which

He was taken to a hospital and the radar center was shut down and evacuated. That prompted a groundstop order that halted all flights in and out of O´Hare and Midway airports.

We’re being had. Again. For six years, President Obama has endeavored to will the country into accepting two pillars of his alternative national-security reality. First, he claims to have dealt decisively with the terrorist threat, rendering it a disparate series of ragtag jayvees. Second, he asserts that the threat is unrelated to Islam, which is innately peaceful, moderate, and opposed to the wanton “violent extremists” who purport to act in its name. Political pollsters have a tough job. They have to create formulas to determine if the person they are interviewing is likely to vote, and it is within this calculation that their reputations are made. Typically, those who are likely to vote in an off-year election are pretty set. They are the people who always vote in elections — with some motivated by specific issues. In a wave election, the number of those motivated by specific issues escalates, changing the electoral landscape as the candidates who are beneficiaries of this increased participation sweep to victory. The 2014 election is rapidly looking like something new
