Obama´s inattention to Iraqi Christians
USA Today, by Kirsten Powers

Original Article

Posted By:jackson, 8/13/2014 9:31:06 AM

It´s starting to seem as if the Obama White House operates on a time delay. In the case of Iraq´s religious minorities, the results have been deadly. On June 10, the barbaric extremists called the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) captured the city of Mosul. By mid-July, they issued an edict to the Christians who remained to "convert, leave or be killed." The White House said nothing. Beginning on July 22, Rep. Frank Wolf, R-Va., took to the House floor six times to plead for attention from the Obama administration as a genocide threatened Iraq. Not a word from the president. On July

Comments:
Kirsten knows that if the Iraqi Gay Christians were in trouble, the army, navy, marines, coast guard would be there in a flash!!

He is a little secret - Obama would ignore the problem if the Christians being victimized were in Memphis or Witchitaw.

He just does not care much for Christians.

FTA: During the Bush administration, nearly a million Christians fled Iraq in fear for their lives. Ironically, it was Sen. Barack Obama who sent the Bush State Department a letter in 2007 inquiring about this persecution. Incredibly, the Bush administration denied there was a problem.

Isn´t it interesting that he allegedly was concerned about Christians in 2007. It is stunning to see the utter hypocrisy of Obama day after day. He has constantly reversed his position on numerous items since he was elected. He is nothing but a pure political hack who make decisions solely based on politics. You can only assume his alleged concern was also a political move again making him appear to be something he was not.

As for Powers, I don´t care what she has to say. Occasionally she experiences a blinding flash of the obvious and then will revert back to her leftist default mode.

Kirsten seems to "awakening" lately.

I thinks she is intellectually honest enough to face the wrath of her party and speak out forcefully on the slaughter of Christians, Obama´s irrational withholding of aid, and his seeming inability to utter the word Christian.

She also has called out the Dem´s on the phony "war on women."

I think she is still completely wrong on the border crises.

I do believe she told O´Reilly during their big dust up recently that she did not vote for Obama in 2012.

We certainly shouldn´t be surprised by this latest outrage from the community organizer. As did a young Adolf Schicklgruber in the 1925 publication of "Mein Kampf," the young Barry Soetoro spelled out his intentions for the world´s Judeo-Christian civilizations in the pages of "Audacity of Hope," published in 2006: "I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."

Could it be that Rev 18:4 is telling Christians to flee the literal Babylon, not just the figurative/spiritual Babylon?

Do you know that Zechariah 5:11 foretells a great evil coming out of Babylon (the land of Shinar)? Can it be that the Anti Christ will rebuilt another Babylon, setting up another base from which to attack Jerusalem, which will be a city of commerce and religion, which will unite both Sunnis and Shiites with his lying signs and wonders and the persecution now is a terrible tribulation for Christians but ultimate a way that God sends Christians away from a place He wants to utterly destroy?

Just for the record, Kirsten says she did not vote for Obama (or for anyone else) in the 2012 election. Her views on admitting Central American illegals who have recently come to the U.S. are looney, but she is a rare, principled liberal who agrees the MSM is in the tank for Obama and covering up crimes in the administration.

Kirsten is married to an Egyptian, whom I suspect comes from a Coptic background. This may explain her strong interest in Middle Eastern Christians and her assertion from the beginning that the Muslim Brotherhood would be anti-Christian and imbued with the most social reactionary and anti-democratic policies upon achieving power in Egypt.

Why would a homosexual muslim stand up for any group that stands for everything they disagree with??? Am I missing something here???

Øvomit has shown total lack of respect, and total disdain, for Christianity every step of his reign of terror. I´m sure he is totally happy to know there are fewer Christians in this world after ISIS visits a village and slaughters the Christians there.

I can´t even give Øvomit the benefit of the doubt any more. If this was muslims being slaughtered by radical Christians, or homosexuals being slaughtered by radical Christians, does anyone doubt for a second that he would have sent in everything that we have immediately???

The hawkish Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina says he is thinking about running for president in 2016. In an interview with Stephen Hayes of the Weekly Standard, the senator, running for re-election to the Senate this year, said: “If I get through my general election, if nobody steps up in the presidential mix, if nobody’s out there talking — me and McCain have been talking — I may just jump in to get to make these arguments,” Graham said. Graham, 59, also dismissed Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, 43, as a presidential candidate, saying he is too young. “He’s a good

The president could not speak of war, terrorism and genocide without dragging in the incident in a St. Louis suburb where a white cop shot and killed a black teenager: "In a summer marked by instability in the Middle East and Eastern Europe, the world also took notice of the small American city of Ferguson, Missouri -- where a young man was killed,

GREENSBORO, N.C. — In one of his first public appearances of the 2014 campaign, former Gov. Jeb Bush of Florida had a vivid preview Wednesday of the challenges he would face with his party’s conservative base should he seek the Republican nomination for president in 2016. Standing alongside Thom Tillis, the North Carolina House speaker and Republican Senate candidate, Mr. Bush outlined his views on two of the issues he cares most passionately about: immigration policy and education standards. But as Mr. Bush made the case for an immigration overhaul and the Common Core standards, Mr. Tillis gently put distance between

While a broad, deep coalition of Democrats is urging Hillary Clinton to run for president, Republicans so far aren´t rallying behind the politician in their party from a famous political family: Jeb Bush. In the spring, at the height of the controversy over lane closures in New Jersey that implicated the staff of Gov.
