Obamaism is dead and
Hillary Clinton killed it

New York Post, by Michael Goodwin

It’s official: Obamaism is dead. Hillary Clinton killed it. It wasn’t so much a mercy killing as an expedient one, but that’s politics in the best sense. The important thing is that she broke the Democratic omertà code by stating the obvious: The president’s policy of having America sit on the sidelines of a burning world is a disaster that threatens our national security. The power of her argument is confirmed by a report that a testy Obama called it “horses–t” to congressional leaders. Even guru David Axelrod blasted her, proving she scored a direct hit on the Chicago mafia’s central nervous

...if it comes to pass that the words she spoke, do as Goodwin speculates, then by all means she deserves a grudging "thank you"...

...but not much more...

The sharks are in the water and will start feeding on their own now that Hillary has come out on Obama´s disastrous foreign policy. The Democrats in Washington know he is clueless and worse for them, their voters are wising up too, so there may be a feeding frenzy before November.

Hillary´s attack on Obama actually has two beneficial results...it not only killed Obamaism, it also killed her chances of running for President. The Obamaists will get their revenge on her when the time comes.

This smells like a trap and a set-up to me. Hilaria desperately needs people on the Right to give her credibility as a possible commander in chief, and will be collecting quotes from the GOP like "She´s a pragmatist" or "She´s a centrist, with neocon leanings on defence" or "She´d definitely be tougher than Obama". This would give her a big boost in the middle vote she´d have to win to become POTUS.

But it´s all an obvious lie. Hilaria is a Democrat, and Democrats all - all - do what Obama is doing: mess things up with the best interest of the US *not* at heart. If anything, with her very long, sleazy record of leftist corruption, Hilaria Alinsky would be an even worse commander in chief than Lightworker Choom. But we can count on gullible GOP "leader" after gullible GOP "leader" to give her credit now for talking tough and taking a position to the right of Dear Leader (somehow thinking she actually means it), and thus helping boost her upcoming campaign, as she is most certainly counting on.

The response of #6 is very unfair. Goodwin has "walked the walk" and persistently opposed Obama from the beginning. It is especially remarkable that he is conservative now as he was once an adviser to Robert Kennedy. Goodwin´s columns have always been characterized by a sense of basic decency.

She thinks she´s got the nomination locked up and is already "moving toward the center."
It´s what Dem presidential candidates always do (unless they´re a minority and can just say dumb things like "hope and change" and get away with it.)
Fauxahontas may have a say about this move to the center.

The national security gene disappeared from the democRAT DNA after their Vietnam debacle. They are now gun shy and the forces that worked against American interests in the fight against communism are now the life blood of that party.
If anyone thinks Hillary or any breathing democrat today has the capability to defend our nation in a time if need, they are mistaken.

Too little too late, too close to election. No credibility, ever. She rode that slimeball´s coattail and she cannot extricate herself from the association. She also has NO accomplishments. There is nothing, nothing she can do or say to get back in many peoples´ good graces, period.

Will the real Hillary Clinton please stand up....er stand down perhaps. Just like our current disaster in chief, as soon as a politician becomes polished in their craft you can presume everything they say to be calculated and politically motivated. To find the inner self one needs to look back to what they said, wrote and did before they perfected their shtick.

She is and will always be the self-righteous zealot follower of Alinsky. The sheister of Whitewater, the crusader who got herself fired from the Watergate prosecution team for lying. When one identifies with a philosophy that espouses deception because the ends justify the means can they ever be trusted?

She has calculated she can beat all comers in the Democrat primary and has moved on to campaigning against the Republicans.

Once in office her inner self will immerge but she will still be a shrewd political beast. This will tend to moderate her in a first term. God save us in a second term. The only potential throttle to her inner elitist totalitarian in a second term, is protecting Chelsea´s political career.

I think this is just a case of Hillary saying what she thinks she must at this point. I expect that there would be a huge chasm between what she is saying NOW versus how she would govern if (God forbid; haven´t we been punished enough?)she attains the Presidency.
Just an example of political expediency.

FTA... Because she’s right that Obama’s policies threaten our national security, it is immoral to stay silent.

If leftists didn´t have immorality, they´d have nothing. If the demonrats had morals or any survival instinct at all, they would force Smidgen to resign.

This feels like 1998 all over again. If the demonrats had convicted Clinton they probably would have had at least 6 years of Gore. Instead they got 8 years of President Bush. This time they would get 2 years of Biden and then, most likely, at least 4 years of Killary. (Does anyone think that she could not beat the pants off of Biden?). Instead, they will get obliterated this November and will very likely lose in 2016 as well. Things will only get worse and by 2016, the demonrat party may very well have imploded.

If Hillary had spoken because she put country before personal ambitions, then yes, I would thank her. But that is patently not the case. She held her silence for four years because she though it helped her career. Now she is speaking up precisely for that reason. Both the Clintons are and have always been risible, cringe inducing opportunists. This is more proof if it were needed.

Michael Goodwin voted for Obama in 2008. He has done a great job of atoning for that destructive deed. But, this article about Hillary worries me. Hillary Clinton would sell her own mother if helped her fulfill her ambition. And that´s what she is doing to Obama. For Goodwin to give her ANY credibility on her flip flop troubles me greatly. Her flip flop shows just how corrupt she really is. Why didn´t she resign her jet setting Secretary of State position if she felt Obama´s foreign policy was wrong? She is definitely PIAPS in broader ways than one.

Obama knows exactly what Hillary is going to say about him, and He is ok with it because it´s all part of the PLAN for Hillary to get out from under HER PAST as Sec of State and the Blunders she made there. It´s all about HILLARY now, not Obama. Watch for more of her remarks slamming Obama. It´s all part of their plan to win the next election...that´s all. Wouldn´t then have been a better time to complain about ill conceived policies than waiting until you´re preparing to jump into the presidential race after all the damage, with your help, has long been accomplished? It seems sort of ´gotta shed the image´ self serving and hypocritical doesn´t it? I hope this time, at this point, it does make a difference.

Everything Shrillery said is common knowledge among people with a couple of functioning brain cells. Obama has screwed up everything he has touched since day one, foreign relations being one of the worst and the most visible.

If HRC had said this two years ago and resigned the SecState position in protest, she might have earned a little respect but now that obama is the skunk at the yard party, she has nothing to lose (except maybe her life when her brakes fail) and everything to gain by pinning the tail on the kenyan donkey.

The first objective of these "progressive" Democrat politicians is to attain and keep political power. To them the end justifies the means. That´s what Hillary Clinton is attempting to do now by separating herself from Obama´s failed and very liberal policies. If Clinton gets the nomination, watch as towards the end when the media will fraudulently make her look more conservative then whoever her Republican turns out to be.

Obama understands that and he will continue to support Clinton at least until an Obama clone, and there are some out there, steps forward. If that happens Obama will switch his allegiance to that clone. Ted Kennedy understood that to win general elections the Democrats need a big Black vote, so if a viable very liberal Black candidate steps up, watch as Obama supports that candidate over both Biden and Clinton.

FTA: Clinton’s comments to The Atlantic magazine give security-minded Democrats permission to break ranks with the White House. Good God, they are free at last.

Seriously? Come on Goodwin, there aren´t any security-minded Democrats. Clinton is merely shifting to the "center" so she allegedly has more appeal and the media will help her along. She was neck deep in the disasters of the Obama foreign policy and now you expect us to believe this is a major shift? They insult our intelligence.

Clinton is being guided by the master of politics the old horn dog. She will pretend to be anything in order to get elected then veer back to her true radical roots if she in fact did get elected. She is just a female version of Obama.

Obama was the liberal´s liberal, and they got exactly what they asked for. In spite of all the problems liberals have with Obama, the will vote for a liberal again. It can´t be the policy so it must be the messenger. The Obama gang complains, but nobody cares since they have to look forward to 2016. Obama has been well compensated so he has nothing to complain about. All his cronies will be picked up by other dems too.

Hillery is distancing herself from Obama in an attempt to get the moderate/independent vote. It could work since the typical voter these days is looking out for what is best for them rather than the country, and will sell their vote to the highest bidder.

Add in all the media bias, and voter fraud...don´t be surprised if this country elects another Democrat. If the Democrats lose, the Republican establishment will be sure to supply a liberal/moderate big government Republican when they buy the Republican primaries.

As Texas debates the implementation of some of the strictest abortion laws in the country, for at least three female lawmakers and candidates in that state, the debate has become intensely personal. The most high-profile of the three, of course, is gubernatorial hopeful and state Sen. What can you tell about a restaurant from its menu? A lot more than what´s cooking. That´s what linguist Dan Jurafsky reveals in his new book, The Language of Food: A Linguist Reads the Menu. Jurafsky, a professor of linguistics at Stanford, looked at hundreds of examples of food language—from menus to marketing materials to restaurant reviews. The sympathetic news media is avoiding mentioning his name, instead they are blaming the lack of a football intro for the massive collapse in ratings Sunday night for President Barack Obama’s appearance on CBS’ 60 Minutes. Americans turned away from watching Obama even though he was being interviewed about the nation’s new war on ISIS. For example, Deadline Hollywood didn’t even mention Obama’s 60 Minutes interview when reporting on the drop in viewers. “With no football lead-in, CBS’ Sunday lineup fell from last week. As expected, the drop was steepest at 7 PM, with 60 Minutes (1.1) off by 69%

Outgoing Attorney General Eric Holder Monday announced a new federal program to target high-crime cities, including Chicago, Ill., where shootings and other violent crime have skyrocketed. Holder, who said last week he will resign once a replacement is confirmed, also announced that the Justice Department has awarded $124 million in hiring grants to 215 police departments across the country for the Community Oriented Policing Program, also known as COPS. Holder said the money would pay for nearly 950 new officers, who will mostly take on the job of community policing aimed at reducing street crime. The grant gives police departments the money to

Over the past half-century the Rollins family became known for two things: killing vermin and throwing great parties. Millions upon millions of vermin. And really, really great parties. Within Atlanta society the clan behind the Orkin pest control empire, now worth some $8 billion, became royalty, the envy of Buckhead’s WASP social set. Gary Rollins, the modern-era patriarch, would invite guests by the hundreds to join him and his wife, Ruthie, at the family’s lush 1,800-acre ranch near Cartersville, Ga. His handsome blond son Glen Rollins, the heir presumptive, preferred Gatsby-theme affairs at Boxwood, his English hilltop manor just outside the city,

Obama Was Warned Repeatedly of

Top government officials and military brass repeatedly warned of the consequences of sticking to a timetable on full Iraq War troop withdrawal, but President Obama proceeded with the plan in 2011. U.S. Ambassador to Iraq Ryan Crocker cautioned against such a move in the years beforehand. “I am certain that abandoning or drastically curtailing our efforts will bring failure,” he said in 2007. “An Iraq that falls into chaos or civil war will mean massive human suffering, well beyond what has already occurred within Iraq’s borders.” He told PBS later that he and Gen. David Petraeus refused to talk about timetables during that

The inequality police are worried that we are living in a new Gilded Age. We should be so lucky: Between 1880 and 1890, the number of employed Americans increased by more than 13 percent, and wages increased by almost 50 percent. I am going to go out on a limb and predict that the Barack Obama years will not match that record; the number of employed Americans is lower today than it was when he took office, and household income is down. Grover Cleveland is looking like a genius in comparison. The inequality-based critique of the American economy is a fundamentally

Beauty Town has an elaborate video surveillance system that displays 16 angles of the store, but the cameras are better at capturing crime than at preventing it. The beauty shop has been looted multiple times since a white Ferguson police officer shot an unarmed black man Aug. 9. Last week, during another round of unrest on West Florissant Avenue, a group of young men broke the front windows and raided the shelves and cash register. Owner Shawn Kim thinks 99% of the people who live around his shop are good people. For the rest, he’s bought a gun. Just in case. If the grand

Rick Perry said on Monday that the Obama administration will have to address the beheading of an Oklahoma woman in what the Texas governor noted closely resembles an act of terrorism. “At some point in time, the administration does have to address this as what is appears to many people that it is — and that is an act of violence that is associated with terrorism,” Perry said on Fox News’ “Fox & Friends.” On Thursday, Alton Nolen, 30, allegedly attacked two women at a Vaughan Foods plant in Moore, Oklahoma. During the attack, one woman was beheaded. Investigators have discovered

A new Government Accountability Institute (GAI) report reveals that President Barack Obama has attended only 42.1% of his daily intelligence briefings (known officially as the Presidential Daily Brief, or PDB) in the 2,079 days of his presidency through September 29, 2014. The GAI report also included a breakdown of Obama’s PDB attendance record between terms; he attended 42.4% of his PDBs in his first term and 41.3% in his second. The GAI’s alarming findings come on the heels of Obama’s 60 Minutes comments on Sunday, wherein the president laid the blame for the Islamic State’s (ISIS) rapid rise squarely at

The man who jumped the White House fence this month and sprinted through the front door made it much farther into the building than previously known, overpowering one Secret Service officer and running through much of the main floor, according to three people familiar with the incident. An alarm box near the front entrance of the White House designed to alert guards to an intruder had been muted at what officers believed was a request of the usher’s office, said a Secret Service official who spoke on the condition of anonymity. The officer posted inside the front door appeared to

For President Obama, the color of a man’s skin is far more important than the content of his character. On the night when a police officer was shot in a Missouri town torn by racial strife, the president donned a shiny tuxedo to attend a ritzy black awards dinner, where he said police nationwide are to blame for community mistrust, even claiming that “most Americans” think the country is racist. Remember, when Ferguson exploded in racial rage in August, Mr. Obama chose not to curtail his 15-day vacation, spending day after day on the golf course in the white-skinned, white-wined, millionaire playground

WASHINGTON — The Senate’s minority whip is confident about Republicans being the majority in the 114th Congress — if conservatives can set aside differences and work to combat the massive influx of donor cash that has Democratic campaigns ahead in the money race. Only in the majority, Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) stresses, can conservatives make headway on tamping down overregulation, repealing and replacing Obamacare, securing the “chaotic” border, getting Keystone XL moving, and bringing civilized debate back to the upper chamber. And only by realizing the gravity of the battle for November, he argues, can Republicans relegate Harry Reid (D-Nev.)

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention notified the media at 3:32 p.m. Tuesday that Dallas has the first diagnosed Ebola case in the nation. The federal agency scheduled a media briefing at 5:30 p.m. from its headquarters in Atlanta. Dallas County officials are expected to participate. Dallas County went through a day-long anxiety attack Tuesday, waiting to hear if the first Ebola diagnosis in the nation would happen here. President Obama firmly believes the United States is better off now than when he took office, even though the American people cannot “feel” it. During an interview with 60 Minutes’ Steve Kroft, Obama said, “the country is definitely better off than when I came into office.” “When I came into office, our economy was in crisis,” Obama said. The president then cited lower unemployment, private sector job growth, and deficit cuts as evidence of his administration’s success. “I can put my record against any leader around the world in terms of digging ourselves out of a terrible, almost unprecedented financial crisis,” Obama said. Well, that didn’t take long. Just two weeks into the new season of “The View,” co-hosts Rosie O’Donnell and Whoopi Goldberg tore into each other during a commercial break — in front of their stunned studio audience. The spat erupted Thursday after Goldberg interrupted O’Donnell to go to a commercial break before the mother of five was finished commenting in a “Hot Topic” discussion about spanking children on the ABC gabfest. O’Donnell refuses to wear an earpiece to stay in contact with producers while the live show is airing, so she had no clue it was time to stop talking.

Sacramento, Calif. - Gov. Jerry Brown on Tuesday signed legislation imposing the nation's first statewide ban on single-use plastic bags, driven to action by a buildup of litter and damage to aquatic ecosystems. A national coalition of plastic bag manufacturers immediately said it would seek a voter referendum to repeal the law, which is scheduled to take effect in July 2015. Under SB270, plastic bags will be phased out of large grocery stores starting next summer and convenience stores and pharmacies in 2016. The law allows grocers to charge a fee of at least 10 cents for using paper bags. State Sen. Alex Padilla, D-Los Angeles,

Democrats think conservatives in general, and Tea Partiers in particular, are stupid. Here’s how to reinforce that belief: Sit out the 2014 congressional elections because your favorite candidate lost his primary bid to an establishment Republican. If you live in Kansas, for example, you can suck your thumb while Democrat ringer Greg Orman beats Republican Senator Pat Roberts. If you’re a Kentucky conservative, you can stay home and b***h about Mitch while Alison “Rubberstamp” Grimes heads to Washington. If you’re in Mississippi, you can stay mad at Thad and allow Travis “no repeal” Childers to win. That’ll show those RINOs! It
