Clearwater police arrest
teen in woman´s slaying

CLEARWATER, Fla. - Clearwater Police detectives say they have charged a teenager in the slaying of the woman whose body was found last weekend adjacent to the Pinellas Trail. Police say 18-year-old Dewayne Xavier Jones of Clearwater is being held in the Pinellas County jail on a charge of first-degree murder. He was booked early this morning and is being held without bail. Police say Jones is responsible for the death of 41-year-old Lydia Ann Tross, whose body was found Saturday north of Fairmont Street. Police also say robbery is the apparent motive. Homicide detectives became aware of Jones´ involvement

Comments:
The Pinellas Trail, built for bicyclers, joggers, and walkers, is a dangerous place because of feral individuals who like to prey on passersby.

has barack commented yet? eric holder? al Sharpton?
I thought not.
Now the police should go undercover, arming some female officers with a pistol like mine - a ruger lcp, 380 with hollow point rounds.
(THE pistol fits in the palm of my hand,, eleven ounces unloaded. Great for jogging.)

The West refuses to acknowledge that we are at war with Islam...and we are losing.

White America refuses to accept that a large percentage of American blacks are at war with it...and it is losing!

A black "unarmed teenager" (this summer´s Trayvon Martin) is terminated in Ferguson, MO, and all h**l breaks loose. Holder, Sharpton, and all the other race-baiters (e.g., progressive MSM) are on the case immediately. A videotaped hate crime occurs in Comrade DeBlasio´s NYC...crickets. This murder and other black-on-white murders (remember the 13-y.o. black kid in the playground) should galvanize white folks into action.

Let´s stop being passive prey.

The "teenager" happens to be a black thug, age 18, who has had previous encounters with law enforcement. The deceased is a white woman. More black on white crime that goes by the headline of "Clearwater Police arrest ´teen´ in woman´s slaying."

Sounds like just a bunch of randy teens out there. Move on. Nothing to see here. Oh look, a squirrel!

An 18 year old who will spend his life in prison. What a waste.

If only he had a father.
If only he had more after school programs.
If only he had a job.

If only the victim had a gun.

It is well known that, when faced with a legal prohibition the first instinct of lawyers is often to seek a loophole around it. (Snip) Obama can claim with lawyerly accuracy in his memoirs that he never engaged in War like that rascal Bush did. This charade can go all the way into the 22nd century and all conflict, legally speaking, will be George Bush’s fault. The modern Western world has managed to abolish war simply by refusing to use the word. It’s word magic by modern shamans. You may say it is self deception: yes, but it is self

Once a week, members of a Wellington, New Zealand, book club arrive at a cafe, grab a drink and shut off their cellphones. Then they sink into cozy chairs and read in silence for an hour. The point of the club isn´t to talk about literature, but to get away from pinging electronic devices and read, uninterrupted. The group calls itself the Slow Reading Club, and it is at the forefront of a movement populated by frazzled book lovers who miss old-school reading. Slow reading advocates seek a return to the focused reading habits of years gone by, before Google,

The signs of the times as read by the Roger Cohen of New York Times at least in his piece The Great Unraveling throw shadows upon a doubtful scene. (Snip) It was a time of catastrophe because it was equally a time of folly. TAMPA — Investigators from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission say they have solved the mystery of what happened when an alligator bit a woman last month while she was in her canoe on the Hillsborough River. Andrea Reese and a friend, Morgan Fusselman, were vacationing from Youngstown, Ohio, when they decided to rent a canoe at John Sargeant Park on Aug. 7. The two women had paddled for about 45 minutes and were outside park boundaries when an alligator jumped partway into the canoe and bit Reese on the calf and thigh. The attack surprised wildlife officials because the

The sheer ruthlessness and ferocity of Islamic-style warfare was underscored by the decimation of ISIS’ main rival by persons unknown. There is an unfortunate tendency to regard organizations like ISIS, Hamas or Hezbollah as a rag-tag agglomeration of mindless fanatics. Richard Epstein at the Hoover Institution has an interesting article on president Obama’s apparent reluctance to use certain kinds of force to defeat ISIS.
