White House Can’t Explain Iraq
Objectives to Congress

Washington Free Beacon, by Adam Kredo

Original Article

Just two weeks after the Obama administration asked Congress to repeal the Iraq war authorization, the White House is failing to adequately explain to lawmakers the legal justification and concrete objectives for its airstrikes against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL or ISIS), according to congressional insiders apprised of off-the-record briefings on the matter.Questions are now being raised on Capitol Hill about how the White House intends to legally justify its military campaign, particularly in light of its efforts to repeal the Authorization for Use of Military Force in Iraq (AUMF). Obama administration officials waited to brief senators

I do understand that Mrs. Obama provided the Code Name for the new Operation. (http://dailycaller.com/2014/07/16/michelle-obama-says-soldier-was-caught-in-a-fire-fart/)

Opponents of this administration need to do a better job in marketing their criticism. The low information voter (LoFoMoFo), needs clever jingles or catchy phrases. Objectives must be Exit Strategy. Christian Genocide must be Ethnic Cleansing of Religious Minority.

Always happy to help.

Much to the chagrin of many Democrats, I´m sure, Obama himself and the Democrat Party now own this entire mess, not just in Iraq but all over the world, and especially in America.

OPEN LETTER TO DEMOCRATS IN CONGRESS: You and your guy own it all now. Obamacare, our lack of national defense and security, the jobs situation, the economy, the immigration mess, the possible outbreaks of disease and crime due to massive immigration, the breakdown of the rule of law....you own it all.

Most of all, Democrats, you, not George Bush, own the responsibility the next time American becomes the victim of a terrorist attack on our own soil.

You alone, because you lack the guts to remove this POTUS from a position he is not taking seriously, will be blamed and rightly so. You watched the same pressers and listened to the same lies we heard but you refused to believe them. Or you chose to ignore them.

You, Democrats, will be seen by history as the Party of Yes -- to the man who brought America down.

When the country is being run by ideologues whose hubris can only be compared to know-it-all middle schoolers, I sincerely doubt any meaningful strategy is in place. Those people do not consult. They do not confer with knowledgeable people. They do not listen because they believe they know better than anyone else.

However, reality has a way of slapping them in the face. We have seen it time and time again. They are mentally incapable of considering any viewpoint but their own. Obama and his administration will lurch from crisis to crisis because they are incompetent and totally out of their league. Liberal ideology is incapable of solving the great problems of our day because it is not based in reality and rejects critical, reasoned debate. They don´t need any stinkin´ objectives!

It would help the WH explain to anybody, let alone Congress if

1. they had ANY objectives based on the countries best interests
2. That the current issues are directly because of prior bad decisions by the WH and that cannot be stated
3. That all decisions by this WH is based on PERSONAL interests but that cannot be stated
4. they had not been so coddled by the MSM that they were forced to actually think through any issue
5. Congress does not need to know because they are not part of the living constitution according to the great constitutional lawyer
6. Worse Congress is a separate power and that cannot be allowed

From the minute W went to the UN in 2002 to explain why Saddam Hussein must be deposed, 95% of Democrats and 100% of progressives did nothing but help facilitate an American defeat in Iraq (partly as revenge for W not letting Gore cheat him out of victory in Florida 2000, which the exposed-as-crooks Democrat party was still seething about). Among those who wished the US military to fail in Iraq was none other than B. Hussein, lifelong "progressive". One suspects the things His Majesty "can´t explain" about this (or rather, won´t admit) are multitudinous.

I agree with #16, all BO´s actions are taken from a political standpoint of making HIM look good.

The problem is, there is no polled solution to this mess, a mess made far worse by BO´s former incompetent actions. Americans see Iraq spinning out of control and are frustrated that after spending so many lives and so much money there it is all falling apart. They see the people being slaughtered and it is disturbing and tragic. BUT, they do NOT want to go back into these countries either. They are left with an infuriating situation with no good solutions.

BO´s problem is that they see no solution and ask "HOW could we have gotten to this point?". They KNOW that Iraq was reasonably stable when BO took over. Now it is the worst it has been. They are blaming BO for letting things get to this point that has no resolution.

THAT is the real problem that BO faces, the deep dissatisfaction of the American people with no possible resolution that makes BO look good.

Objectives, objectives, he doesn´t have any stinking objectives. One of the reasons why he is always on vacation, is because he can´t reasonably answer any of his actions or activities which are always geared towards the destruction of the United States of America.

Face it folks, he and his henchmen must be kicked out of office in November and in 2016. He plays golf while the world burns. The Republican Party.. they are fighting the nations gravest enemy, the Tea Party. And so it continues.

He has to do something to pretend he doesn´t support ISIS so he´s doing as little as possible.
After the elections he will pull everything out and by February 2015 radical Islam will be in full control of Iraq.

Obama is an elitist and a crony capitalist. His ONLY agenda was to transform America so HE and HIS SUPPORTERS could extract every dime they could out of this once thriving nation. This is why he would rather put people on the government dole than provide jobs. Jobs transfers money from the wealthy to the working class... and that is not what they want. They want the middle class to fund the poverty class by borrowing against the national debt, which the working class will have to pay.
He has no foreign policy other than hope he can keep things quiet with his rhetoric, but it isn´t working.
He was not brought up as an American and has no loyalty to America or Americans. He is just milking this nation for all he can get... nothing more.

Barry played the game of politics and it ended up biting him in the butt. His clever ploy of waiting until enough Iraqi civilians had been slaughtered to melt the hearts of the most ardent peaceniks so they wouldn´t protest his actions only resulted in needless deaths that could have easily been prevented if he had authorized attacks on ISIS before they had gained a foothold in the cities. Now we have thousands dead and an enemy that will be harder to remove than an infestation of bedbugs, all so he wouldn´t have to admit that he surrendered prematurely to the terrorists. Congratulations once again, President Putz. Enjoy your golf, even though you probably suck at that too.

I don´t know about you all, but I see so many parallels with the fall of Rome. The only difference is that there is still information and truth out there to inform anyone willing to try to fix this mess. In Rome, the majority were completely distracted by the bloody games in the Colosseum and other goodies their government was throwing at them to pacify the masses so they wouldn´t notice everything crumbling around them (hmmm...still sounds like here). Okay, I guess history is repeating itself.

But in its arrogance, the Secret Service thought it could get away with issuing such an outrageous claim and the public would accept it.With similar hubris, the agency leaves the doors to the White Horse unlocked. Accountability: Turns out the Secret Service — which has one job to do — let a knife-wielding intruder all the way into the East Room of the White House. Can´t anyone in government do anything right these days? Time was when the Secret Service seemed an exemplar of professionalism and dedication, an agency with a focused mission and largely immune from the bureaucratic bumbling inherent to big government. In recent years, it´s seemed more like Animal House. The intruder blew past one guard and was stopped only by an off-duty officer. And this was one of hundreds of apparent security breaches.

A Canadian member of the loathed Islamic State claimed the group is plotting an attack on New York City — and will one day fly its flag over the White House. Days before Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi warned of terrorist plots on subways in New York City and Paris, a video emerged showing an ISIS shill named Farah Shirdon widening the scope of the threat. “God willing, we will make some attacks in New York soon,” he said in a video interview with Vice News last week. “A lot of brothers are mobilizing there right now.” He vowed that U.S.-based fighters are “mobilizing for a brilliant attack.”

Qua speech, Barack Obama’s address Wednesday on the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria was surprisingly terrible: a disorganized mess, insincere and unconvincing. To appreciate just how bad and bizarre it was, compare the president’s speech announcing a new air campaign in Iraq and Syria to Dwight Eisenhower’s 1958 statement on his decision to intervene in Lebanon with 14,000—14,000!—troops. The statement contains no chest-thumping about America’s leadership in science and medicine. No pivot to the auto industry and medical research. Eisenhower simply explained what had been done, and why.

Meghan McCain joined the dog pile on the Secret Service this week, saying she’s had “nothing but horrible experiences" with the agency and likening the agents to “glorified mall cops.” The 29-year-old author and television personality, who is also the daughter of former GOP presidential candidate Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), opened up on Pivot’s “TakePart Live” about some of her interactions with the Secret Service. "I have nothing but horrible experiences with the Secret Service,” McCain said. “One of my friends called them glorified mall cops and I don´t think that´s terribly far off. I found them cliquey. The furor that led to this week’s resignation of the director of the Secret Service resonated deeply among blacks, outraged that those supposed to be guarding the first black president were somehow falling down on the job — and suspicious even without evidence that it may be deliberate. “It is something that is widespread in

While the content is vicious, angry and sure to tickle conservative journalists and pols, the writing is colorful, even entertaining.“A slapdash Secret Service detail isn’t what’s wrong with the White House — the real scandal is a President who is so complacent about protecting Americans,” the headline blares. Piers predicts that now that President Obama went on “60 Minutes” and distanced himself from U.S. national intelligence agencies on the rapid spread of ISIS, he’s guaranteed himself leaks to the media for the remainder of his
