Obama: Democrats aren’t

Washington Times, by Dave Boyer

Presumably with a straight face, President Obama said Monday night that Democratic leaders in Congress are “not ideological.” Speaking at a fundraiser for Senate Democrats while vacationing on Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, Mr. Obama said people such as Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, Nevada Democrat, are not to blame for partisan gridlock. “If you look at the leadership of Democrats in both the House and the Senate, they’re not ideological, they’re not proposing radical solutions,” Mr. Obama said. “They are common sense. They are pragmatic. That’s how we got health care passed. That’s why we’ve been able to make progress on

Hello, my name is Barack Obama, and I´m a member of Pathological Liars Anonymous. In fact.. I´m the president of the organization!

I didn´t always lie. No, when I was a kid, I told the truth. But then one day, I got caught stealing money out of my mother´s purse. I lied. I told her it was homework - that my teacher told me to do it. And she got fired! Yeah, that´s what happened!

After that, lying was easy for me. I lied about my age and forged my birth certificate. I was thirteen at the time. Yeah.. I went to Vietnam, and I was injured catching a mortar shell in my teeth. And they made me a three-star general! And then I got a job in journalism, writing for the National Enquire.. er, Geographic! Yeah.. I was making twenty thousand a ye.. month! In fact, I won the Pulitzer Prize that year! Yeah, that´s the ticket. Then I won a Nobel Peace Prize. How did that happen.

Obama has turned the country into the Bill Murray classic, Groundhog Day. Every morning at 60 am, the alarm radio blares out "I´ve got you, babe" but with Obama singing rather than Sonny & Cher. We spend the entire day just like the day before, with Obama speeches, Obama attacks on normal people, Obama playing golf, Obama attending fund raisers, Obama proclaiming success where none exists and denying scandals we can see, Obama hosting an LGBT summit, Obama threatening to unconstitutionally offer amnesty to illegals, Obama gutting the military, Obama lying and distorting history, Obama blaming Bush, Obama toasting African dictators, Obama nominating another androgynous leftist, Obama welcoming the most recent NFL or NCAA champions, Obama uttering "Ahs, Ahs" in his long winded drivel, Obama touring a business that closes months later and Obama jetting off to a vacation at great taxpayer expense.

The next morning, at the exact same time, Obama shakes us awake with "I´ve got you, babe", and all of the above and more begins anew. It surely explains the current malaise in the country and the poor state of the world.

This punk must actually be a robot programmed to read statements that are known to evoke a positive reaction from his listeners. This robot could watch an Islamofascist terrorist cutting off the head of a baby and say to him that he is a great deliverer of peace in the world. The words may not mean anything to him, he just says them because he has been told they are "positive" comments. That they do not fit the circumstances is of no concern. He is also versed in what comments are negative and he has been told who to use them against.

It is an utterly disgusting abuse of American society. How could anyone be so delusional as this punk?

The results of caring for needs has destroyed the black family, is working hard at destroying the white families, and is working hard at doing the same thing to Hispanic families. In a midterm election year in which the political climate and map of battleground states clearly favors Republicans, many GOP candidates are nevertheless embracing some Democratic priorities in an effort to win over skeptical voters. The shift is evident in some of the most contentious Senate and gubernatorial races — in traditional swing states as well as decidedly conservative ones such as Alaska and Arkansas — where Republican nominees have endorsed increases to the minimum wage, legalizing medical marijuana or granting in-state college tuition to some illegal immigrants. Even on social issues, an area where the GOP traditionally has hewed

AUSTIN - Democratic state Sen. Wendy Davis, fresh off her first debate gubernatorial debate, expressed confidence Saturday that she will win the race on Nov. 4. AUSTIN — Twenty years ago this November, Texas elected George P. Bush’s uncle as governor. That election cemented Republicans in power in the Lone Star State after a steady period of ascendance. Democrats haven’t won a statewide elective office since and their candidates for governor (state Sen. Wendy Davis) and lieutenant governor (state Sen. WASHINGTON — A man jumped over the fence of the White House on Friday and made it through the front door before officers managed to apprehend him, just minutes after President Barack Obama had departed, the Secret Service said. The intruder sprinted toward the White House after leaping over the fence and ignored commands from officers to stop, Secret Service spokesman Ed Donovan said. He was ultimately apprehended just inside the North Portico doors, the grand, columned entrance that looks out over Pennsylvania Ave. Donovan said the man appeared to be unarmed to officers who spotted him jumping the fence,

It should come as no surprise when movies dovetail with the wider social conversation. But this week, the collision is occurring with particularly crystallizing force. For one thing, it marks the return of Neeson to the kind of substantive, mature roles his fans have craved while he’s been making science-fiction fantasies and franchise installments. What was the Islamic State thinking? We know it is sophisticated in its use of modern media. But what was the logic of propagating to the world videos of its beheadings of two Americans (and subsequently a Briton) — sure to inflame public opinion? There are two possible explanations. One is that these terrorists are more depraved and less savvy than we think. They so glory in blood that they could not resist making an international spectacle of their savagery — after all, they proudly broadcast their massacre of Shiite prisoners — and did not quite fathom how such a

The United States has made the same mistake in evaluating fighters from the Islamic State that it did in Vietnam — underestimating the enemy’s will, according to James Clapper, the director of national intelligence. Clapper’s comments came in a telephone interview Wednesday, in which he summarized the elements of a new National Intelligence Strategy released this week. Clapper also answered some broader questions about intelligence issues confronting the country. Asked whether the intelligence community had succeeded in its goal of providing “anticipatory intelligence” about the extremist movement in Syria and Iraq that has declared itself the Islamic State, Clapper said

It was once said, “religion is designed to comfort the afflicted and to afflict the comfortable.” Jesus’ parables – short stories with moral lessons – were likewise designed to afflict, to draw us in but leave us uncomfortable. These teachings can be read as being about divine love and salvation, sure. But, their first listeners – first century Jews in Galilee and Judea – heard much more challenging messages. Only when we hear the parables as Jesus’ own audience did can we fully experience their power and find ourselves surprised and challenged today. Here are four examples of Jesus’ teachings that everybody gets wrong: 1.

I know a lot of people are giddy at the prospect of Republicans taking the Senate this November, but that’s becoming less and less likely. It’s not because Democrats are rallying around a particular mission or set of candidates; it’s because Republicans and conservatives aren’t. It seems like I’m always writing on issues no one wants to hear are mistakes, such as messaging or social issues. But I don’t care. These things have to be said. If these columns are received like a gaseous cousin on a long car trip through the desert, so be it. Crack a window… If things continue on their current course, the GOP will not retake the Senate.
