A teachable moment in foreign policy
Washington Post, by Jennifer Rubin

Original Article

Conservative critics of the president’s foreign policy were relieved when President Obama initiated humanitarian relief efforts and air strikes in Iraq. They were, however, rightly worried that there is no concerted strategy to accomplish any national objective, say, the destruction of the Islamic State. His action seemed designed to fend off criticism he is doing nothing rather than devote sufficient resources to halting the metastasizing threat of jihadism throughout the region. Indeed, the president went out of his way in his remarks Thursday night to avoid explaining the threat posed by a terrorist state to the United States. It’s as

Good piece. Especially pointing out the weasel-ing Miss Hilaria is currently up to concerning her own culpability. She will be painting herself as a tougher, more realistic commander in chief than President Gutsy Choom, but she can be nothing but just as bad.

Almost everywhere on the planet where there are major problems or conflicts, Muslims are at the root. Ultimately, nothing will change until radical Islam is wiped off the face of the earth and all other Muslims (moderates?) are disarmed and forced into submission.

This article points out how real duplicitous and vile the demonrats are. It is a good piece to key and review whenever you feel sorry for them - if that ever should happen.

The Sunnis (Saudi Arabia, ISIS, Al Qaeda, Hamas, Muslim Brotherhood, Saddam Hussein, Yasser Arafat) are about 85% of the Muslims and insist on converting the Shia to their side.
The Shia (Iran, Hezbollah) are about 15% of the Muslims and insist the Sunnis join them.

I don´t see a side I want to support. We are the safest while they are fighting amongst themselves. Let´s pray they never unite. Both have leaders who want to wipe Israel off the map and kill anyone who will not convert to Islam, the religion of peace.

Sooner or later it might dawn on the ignorant MSM that, if an issue is bad for our national security Captain Zero is for it. If it might increase our national security, Captain Zero is against it. Think unilateral disarmament, border invasion, military gutting, economic Armageddon, solar and windmill energy push, etc... you name the topic, it’s always the same-weaken America.

Now we have the WaPo occasionally actually telling at least some truth straight up!

Now that is a reason for at least a few democrast in congress to start considering whether the country is really more important than their personal perks and tenure in office.

That 12-percentage-point margin is similar to what Gallup measured for Obama in 2010 and George W. ATLANTA — Texas, America’s second-most populous state behind California, saw 13 of its last abortion clinics turn away women on Friday, after a federal appeals court upheld a law that practically guarantees that only a handful of clinics will remain open in the state. The strictest-of-its-kind Texas law requires abortion providers to build hospital-grade facilities and obtain sometimes impossible-to-get hospital admitting privileges. After signed into law last year by Gov. Rick Perry (R), the law forced most of the 41 clinics operating to close. But there are executive powers that he really does possess that he’s not using. Senator Sessions has helpfully provided a number of “lawful, constitutional executive actions” that the president should already be undertaking but isn’t: Complete the border fence that Congress has previously passed into law; Create the exit-entry system to track foreign visa-holders, which Congress has repeatedly mandated; Cancel visas

As Michaeleen Doucleff reported, these little icons of pink and red people reflect the disease’s relative R0 or R(nought) scores. The red person is the disease carrier, and the pink people

Commencement speeches can be amusing, inspiring or, in the worst (some would say even the best) case, a bit dull. Schools tend to choose corporate CEOs, politicians and celebrities to send off the graduating class with a speech meant to give graduates a glimpse of what they can achieve if they work hard in the years that lie before them. Goddard College, a small liberal arts school in Plainfield, Vt., wanted a different kind of speaker. The graduating class chose a cop killer. A video recording was arranged so that Mumia Abu-Jamal could speak to the students from Mahanoy State Correctional

The U.S. economy added 248,000 jobs in September, and the unemployment rate dropped to 5.9 percent. But the labor force participation rate continued to fall, average hourly earnings seem frozen, and over 13 percent of workers are either out of work, involuntarily working part time or too discouraged to keep hunting for jobs, and 20 percent of teenagers are out of work. In short, two cheers for the latest report, but hold the champagne. It’s called dereliction of duty when one knowingly dismisses the faithful execution of his or her prescribed duties in fulfilling their responsibility. I said so Monday evening with Greta von Susteren, and will continue to do so. And if anything represents “high crimes and misdemeanors” it’s the dereliction of duty that has resulted in the deaths of Americans – by beheadings. Furthermore, it is a dereliction of duty that has placed the national security of the United States of America at risk.
