A straw visor and muumuu for
Hillary and SoulCycle shorts
for Bill: Relaxed Clintons enjoy some
downtime on the beach with their dogs

Daily Mail [UK], by Margot Peppers & Staff

Original Article

Bill and Hillary Clinton are making the most of their downtime in the Hamptons. The former U.S. President and his ex-Secretary of State wife were pictured this morning enjoying a stroll on the beach in Amagansett, where they are paying $100,000 to rent an $18million five-bedroom property for three weeks. The couple, who were accompanied by their dogs as well as a Secret Service agent, were dressed in very casual clothes, with President Clinton decked out in black SoulCycle shorts and green sneakers and his wife in a bright blue muumuu and slippers. Mrs Clinton, 66, kept her eyes shaded from the sun

Comments:
Please be kind in comments, as it is Sunday evening. My comment is, "Is PIAPS colorblind?" Well, at $100,000 for three weeks digs, guess there is no protocol to what you wear on the beach. (Note: "Muumuu" is no relation to "Shammu.")

I think she looks entirely beach appropriate for a woman her age, and think she should continue to stay on the beach and dress as such for the rest of her life.

I personnaly think it was ´ lets get the photo op over with´ style.

Crop pants, clam diggers, if you will and a nice shirt for beach photo would have been better. But, like her politics, she has a tin ear to fashion.

At least they´re not eating their dogs like Barry .
The Clintons look like a middle aged couple walking two dogs.
They both appear to be treating the dogs appropriately.
The Obamas and their daughters coldly treat their dogs like photo ops and
have never shown them genuine affection.
Bo is Barry´s beard.
A couple of years ago, Barry´s significant other , Reggie Love was flown to their summer vaca on Martha´s Vineyard
on the same plane as Bo .
Reggie was photographed on the tarmac with Bo.
The media duly reported that Reggie Love
was the dog attendant when they knew full well
he was the Barry attendant.

Reuters correspondent Arshad Mohammed caught State Department Spokesperson Jen Psaki in a trap with a pointed line of questioning regarding the Obama administration’s knowledge of and response to the rise of ISIL. “Is the basic point you’re trying to make that you–that the administration fully grasped the threat posed by ISIL and took aggressive and effective action to confront that threat from the beginning of the year?” Mohammed asked. “Is that what you’re trying to argue?” “Yes,” Psaki said. “If that’s the case, if your actions were so effective and so aggressive, how is it that since the beginning of the year

Who’ll be the next attorney general? Washington’s favorite parlor game is filling Cabinet vacancies; I like playing as much as the next pundit. (Keep reading!) Still, the more telling question is: Why are we playing this game at all? Why wasn’t the White House, which knew for months that Eric H. Holder Jr. was itching to leave, ready to roll with a successor? More important, given Holder’s foot inching toward the door, why did it not time this departure more intelligently — rather than having it arrive just before an election and the prospect of Democrats losing control of the Senate?

Cover Oregon was supposed to be a shining example of ObamaCare at its best. The state insurance exchange for the state of Oregon received $300 million in federal grants to launch a state-of-the-art website. But it never worked, and not a single Oregonian was able to sign up for health care from start to finish. So now, Oregon is in the process of pulling the plug on the site and switching over to the federal exchange and HealthCare.gov -- but the question is, how quickly they can do it. “We need to move forward and do the best thing for the people of Oregon,” Republican State Sen. Kansas Tea Party supporters are threatening to sit out the state’s pivotal Senate election, potentially dealing another blow to the reelection hopes of Sen. Pat Roberts (R-Kan.). Though schisms within the GOP base rarely have such an outsized impact on a general election contest, the lack of support from the conservative base could be devastating to the vulnerable Roberts’s chances against surging independent Greg Orman. Multiple sources tell The Hill that a group of Tea Party leaders in the state are meeting Wednesday to try to decide whether they should go to bat for the incumbent this fall or sit out of

Sacramento, Calif. - Gov. Jerry Brown on Tuesday signed legislation imposing the nation's first statewide ban on single-use plastic bags, driven to action by a buildup of litter and damage to aquatic ecosystems. A national coalition of plastic bag manufacturers immediately said it would seek a voter referendum to repeal the law, which is scheduled to take effect in July 2015. Under SB270, plastic bags will be phased out of large grocery stores starting next summer and convenience stores and pharmacies in 2016. The law allows grocers to charge a fee of at least 10 cents for using paper bags. State Sen. Alex Padilla, D-Los Angeles,

President Obama this week committed professional suicide. Let me explain. There is a theory in politics that once a leader has fired 50 or more people from his or her administration, he or she is finished. The reason being that by creating so many enemies ‘outside the tent’, the tent itself becomes too deluged with poisonous bile to avoid sinking into a quagmire of back-stabbing ignominy. Obama went a lot further than firing 50 people. He managed to single-handedly alienate 200,000 employees in the American intelligence agencies by going on 60 Minutes and ruthlessly chucking them all under a bus

Count House Speaker John Boehner as a fan of Jeb Bush for president. He also hasn´t spoken to Texas GOP Sen. Ted Cruz in two years. The driving issue of the 2016 election will be “competence,” and if former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush runs, “he’s got a real shot” at winning, the Ohio Republican told the Cincinnati Enquirer on Tuesday. Boehner applauded Bush’s ability to “talk about Republican issues better than most anybody that we’ve got out there,” approving of his “real record of reform” as Florida’s governor from 1999 to 2007. He also called potential candidates Ohio Gov. John

A white Ohio woman is suing a Downers Grove-based sperm bank, alleging that the company mistakenly gave her vials from an African-American donor, a fact that she said has made it difficult for her and her same-sex partner to raise their now 2-year-old daughter in an all-white community. Jennifer Cramblett, of Uniontown, Ohio, alleges in the lawsuit filed Monday in Cook County Circuit Court that Midwest Sperm Bank sent her the vials of an African-American donor´s sperm in September 2011 instead of those of a white donor that she and her white partner had ordered. BOSTON — Many Massachusetts households are going to see their electric bills shoot up 37 percent this winter, a rate increase that some advocates fear will put additional strain on low-income families. State regulators approved the increase for National Grid household customers that would mean an average of $33 per month more for the typical residential customer and would push a typical monthly bill higher than $150. Large-business customers will see even higher increases. National Grid has almost 1.3 million residential and business electric customers in Massachusetts. The new rates take effect in November.
