Obama: Pulling All U.S. Troops
Out of Iraq Was Not ‘My Decision´

When he was running for re-election in 2012, President Barack Obama repeatedly took credit for ending the war in Iraq and bringing all U.S. troops home from that country. At the White House on Saturday, however, when talking about his decision to use military force against the al-Qaida-related ISIS terrorist group in Iraq, Obama said removing all U.S. troops from Iraq was not “my decision.” “You know I say what I mean and I mean what I say,” Obama said in Hollywood, Florida on Nov. 4, 2012. “I said I´d end the war in Iraq. I ended it.” That statement

What a disgusting person he is. For him truth is a stranger. He announces he has pulled all troops out of Iraq, and years later he denies doing so. Of course he is speaking to his base, and the only thing they understand is the monthly government check.

Compared to Obama, Jimmy Carter was a saint.

#4, as Cheney said, (paraphrased) "Even a trained Ape can get a SOF agreement." So that means the Otardo admin deliberately insured the SOF wouldn´t be signed. Which makes Otardo culpable - and as he is the President, it was indeed his responsibility and therefor his decision.

Once again Obama displays his inability to negotiate an agreement acceptable to both parties. The US military said a residual force of 20,000 troops would be required to maintain security and stability in Iraq. Obama was willing to allow fewer than 5,000. The Iraqis recognized that Obama was not serious and declined, yet Obama blames THEM?

Obama is an inexperienced, immature incompetent president. He is a very competent community organizer who uses all of the tools of a community organizer to deceive the people of the US.

Why do so many US citizens believe his deception? Use some critical thinking, folks, and reject Obama´s repeated lies!!

Does this idiot truly not realize that, in this day and age, there are tons of video of him declaring that he was going to pull our troops out of Iraq by such-and-such date because they could take care of themselves?!?!?!? He is the president and commander in chief of our military -- so, of course it was his decision!!!!!!!

And, at the time, how many of us with brains (conservatives in other words) declared exactly what would happen when he took this cowardly PC action?!?!?!?

What a vile, evil, cowardly liar we have for a president!!!!!

The idea to desert Iraq was Valerie Jarrett´s, and Zippy was obediently doing as he was told, minding his master. Nothing is ever his fault. He takes no responsibility for anything.

After hearing the latest absurdities from the mouth of the pResident, is the White House Press Corps anywhere near falling on the floor, guffawing hysterically and soiling their skivvies? If not, the Nation needs a new lineup in the press room. I´ll say it again: Obama should be shamed out of office. As Tarzan (Weissmuller version) liked to say while gripping the handle of his sheathed knife: "Go! Ungawa!"

I don´t know whether the SOF agreement was doable, difficult or impossible. What I do know is that he took credit for and campaigned on being the primary force behind ending the war. If the "end" came about due to something over which you had no control - then, Dear Leader you cannot claim to have ended the war. You just can´t have it both ways. Unless of course your supporters and sycophants were just too enamored or ignorant to understand that fact. And, considering that you were reelected - I guess they were...

Obama is a 100% political animal and will say whatever he thinks is to his political benefit at the moment, no matter if it defies reality, as to progressives like him the end justifies the means, he knows that a good portion of his low information voter base is not savvy enough to know when he is being untruthful and will go on to vote for him regardless of his dishonesty.

Remember the first mission of a progressive politician like Obama is to maintain his political power, and he will do anything, even grant an unlawful amnesty to the massive illegal alien population if he thinks it will cause the Republicans to overreact and launch a politically disastrous drive to impeach him, that common sense says would be doomed to failure in the US Senate because of a lack of votes, in order to keep the liberal Democrats in control of the US Senate. It´s the same with Obama´s new "targeted" and limited bombing campaign in Iraq, now he can say that he is a wartime President who cares about people, the homeless refugees over there during the run-up to the November election.

"I intend to end this war," Obama said. "My first day in office I will bring the Joint Chiefs of Staff in, and I will give them a new mission. And that is to end this war. Responsibly, deliberately, but decisively. And I have seen no information that contradicts the notion that we can bring our troops out safely at a pace of one to two brigades per month. And again, that pace translates into having our combat troops out in 16 months´ time."

Would the troops have left if Bush had been President? The fact of the matter is that he didn´t want to reach an agreement with the Iraqi government to keep the troops there. The more likely scenario is that his administration made unreasonable demands and when Iraq wouldn´t--or couldn´t--agree, it gave him the pretext to pull out.

Just when you thought you knew all the consequences of the Ebola pandemic, here’s another one: it could affect the supply of chocolate. Of course that doesn’t rise to the seriousness of illness and death, but it does show how much Ebola affects trade and production. An estimated 70% of the world’s cocoa beans come from the West African countries of Ivory Coast, Ghana, Nigeria and Cameroon. Ivory Coast is the world’s largest producer, exporting 37.8% of the world’s cocoa, according to the Wall Street Journal. Panetta chided the president´s team in his forthcoming memoir, excerpts of which have been published in the media. A recent fight between Rosie O´Donnell and Whoopi Goldberg has producers at The View looking to add a cool-down room for the ladies. After being cut off by Goldberg during an episode last week so the show could go to commercial, O´Donnell began to express how upset she was and, after being told repeatedly by Goldberg it was not the right time to have that discussion, eventually got cursed out by the Oscar winner. Goldberg told O´Donnell, ´F*** it, I told you to leave it alone and you just don´t want to listen. If you want to go there Rosie,

A presidential defeat isn’t an easy thing to bounce back from. And Mitt Romney did it twice. So it was understandable that after he lost the presidential race in 2012, he was adamant about closing the door to the possibility of a third campaign. But recently, speculation is whirling that Romney may not be so adamant anymore. When asked if he was running in a New York Times interview published earlier this week, Romney said : “I have nothing to add to the story. We’ve got a lot of people looking at the race,” he said. “We’ll see what happens.” That response, which

Meghan McCain joined the dog pile on the Secret Service this week, saying she’s had “nothing but horrible experiences" with the agency and likening the agents to “glorified mall cops.” The 29-year-old author and television personality, who is also the daughter of former GOP presidential candidate Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), opened up on Pivot’s “TakePart Live” about some of her interactions with the Secret Service. "I have nothing but horrible experiences with the Secret Service,” McCain said. “One of my friends called them glorified mall cops and I don´t think that´s terribly far off. I found them cliquey. I hated

WASHINGTON — Representative Elijah E. Cummings of Maryland was at the grocery store the other day when he ran into an elderly black woman who expressed growing concern about President Obama’s safety. Why, she asked, wasn’t he being better protected by his Secret Service agents? The furor that led to this week’s resignation of the director of the Secret Service resonated deeply among blacks, outraged that those supposed to be guarding the first black president were somehow falling down on the job — and suspicious even without evidence that it may be deliberate. “It is something that is widespread in

On Wednesday, the ex-CNN talk show host wrote his first story as editor-at-large for the Daily Mail. While the content is vicious, angry and sure to tickle conservative journalists and pols, the writing is colorful, even entertaining.“A slapdash Secret Service detail isn’t what’s wrong with the White House — the real scandal is a President who is so complacent about protecting Americans,” the headline blares. Piers predicts that now that President Obama went on “60 Minutes” and distanced himself from U.S. national intelligence agencies on the rapid spread of ISIS, he’s guaranteed himself leaks to the media for the remainder of his

Go to a grocery store in California and buy all the milk, eggs and vegetables you want. But there’s one thing you won’t find at the checkout line, beginning July 1, 2015: Plastic bags to carry your stuff home. Gov. Jerry Brown (D) on Tuesday signed into law a ban on single-use plastic bags, making California the first state to prohibit stores from using the ubiquitous carry-alls. Shoppers will be charged 10 cents for every paper bag and heavy-duty plastic bag they use. “This bill is a step in the right direction,” Brown said in a press release announcing his approval. “It
