I´m normally a supporter of the Constitution. However, there are some cases where the proscription against ´Cruel or unusual punishment´ should be suspended.

Having said that, I found it very disturbing that the 6-year-old was out that night, and usually checked in ´every few hours´.

Why?
Or do we already know the answer?

# 3 I´m having a problem with that statement too. Shouldn´t little girls be tucked in bed instead of wandering the neighborhood ?

I keep thinking back to the mother that stood up in court and shot the man that molested her son because justice certainly wasn´t served. She developed breast cancer in prison and we never heard about her again.

The perp lives in the same mobile home park. Her "parents" apparently allowed her to roam freely, and when she wasn´t around on Sunday (they´d last seen her when she went to bed Saturday), they assumed she was out playing.

All day? This really blew me away. Twenty-four hours to realize something might be amiss with a six-year-old girl?

The finger was pointing toward her father, who had been accused of molesting an 8 year old and "inappropriately touching" her babysitter a few years ago.

This is not a normal family.

The House Select Committee on Benghazi is set to hold its first public hearing this week on September 17th.However, a note of caution should be added not to expect too much “substance” as an outcome. As most readers are now aware the Benghazi FUBAR is essentially two-thirds a result of bad policy, and one-third a result of terrible decisions as a result of that bad policy. To date nothing has surfaced to undermine the essential research we have shared within the Benghazi Brief. Actually, to the contrary “The Brief” has withstood relentless scrutiny. Unfortunately that also means Trey Gowdy will

Editor’s note: On Friday, Vikings running back Adrian Peterson turned himself in on charges of child abuse, accused of injuring his four-year-old son as he whipped him with a small tree branch, commonly called a “switch.” Peterson acknowledged that he had spanked the boy because he had misbehaved, but said he did not intend to hurt the child. The case reminded She The People of this story from 1998 by Washington Post writer DeNeen L. Brown, which explores the debate around spanking, especially within the African American community. Perhaps the best way to think of this is to use President Obama’s own words. It appears the “doctors, farmers, pharmacists and so forth” have struck up a truce with ISIS. That’s a problem, because Obama’s ISIS elimination plan requires the “doctors, farmers, pharmacists and so forth” to fight against ISIS on the ground while we shoot at ISIS from the sky. If the “doctors, farmers, pharmacists and so forth” don’t put the pointy end toward the Islamic State, oops, wait, sorry… the non-Islamic Islamic State (NI-ISIS) in Syria, then who will?

The announcement comes within hours of a report by the Associated Press that a law enforcement official sent a video to the league in April that showed Rice knocking out his then-fiancee in an elevator. Some precincts in northern Arizona tallied more ballots cast than there are registered voters, the Arizona Capitol Times reported. According to officials, errors made by poll workers and elections officials in Apache and Navajo counties led to the miscalculations. Initial reports from some precincts showed a turnout of anywhere from 200 to 400 percent. In Apache County, the Puerco West precinct reportedly had 100 votes cast, but only 23 voters are registered there. The voter turnout added up to 434

The announcement that he would delay his immigration initiative until after the election and his formal announcement that the United States would take military action against the Islamic State could have been coerced. Maybe Democratic leaders in Congress and a few members of the Obama team have had it. Could it be that, after President Obama briefed Democrats in Congress on the immigration plan, they balked?
