CAIRO - Eleven "extremists" were killed on Friday in a wide-scale security crackdown on Sinai, state-run MENA agency reported. Three tunnels were also demolished and one SUV vehicle was confiscated in the security campaign to "clear" areas of Al-Arish and Sheikh Zuweid of terrorists, the source added. Army and police forces have been cracking down on extremists and militants that have been targeting security elements and installations in Sinai since the ouster of former President Mohamed Mursi in July 2013.

Comments:
That is the article.

According to The Conservative Treehouse, these Sinai tunnels were being used to transport weapons into Gaza.

Washington said on Sunday it had carried out air strikes against jihadists in Iraq´s Sunni Arab heartland, expanding its month-long air campaign and its involvement in the conflict. It was a significant escalation for President Barack Obama, who made his political career opposing the war in Iraq and pulled out US troops in 2011. Previous strikes since Obama launched the US air campaign on August 8 had been mainly in support of Kurdish forces in the north. US warplanes bombed Islamic State (IS) jihadists around a strategic dam on the Euphrates River in an area that the jihadists have repeatedly tried to capture

The Peoples Cube has bravely identified Chicago District #214’s rebellion. The revolt is a danger to the collective, therefore the message must not reach surrounding districts. Be a good citizen – you have a duty. Good citizens support healthy compliance. A 14-year-old girl is facing arson and attempted murder charges after setting her family’s Florida house on fire in what authorities say was an senseless act of violence fueled in part by the teen’s obsession with the fictional horror figure Slender Man. Authorities in Pasco County say the girl torched the Port Richey home she shared with her mother and 9-year-old brother early Thursday. They say she soaked a towel and a bed sheet with bleach and rum and set it on fire in the garage. The mom and the boy were sleeping at the time. They fled the burning house

The "Yes" campaign fighting for Scottish independence took a shock lead in the polls last night just 11 days before the country´s referendum.A fresh YouGov poll, when excluding undecided voters, placed the Scottish National Party-backed campaign for independence in a 51-49 point lead – the first time it has polled ahead. Earlier in the campaign, unionists enjoyed a double-digit lead, an advantage which has quickly vanished in the past fortnight. Supporters among the Yes camp were caught between celebrating the result of the poll, commissioned by The Sunday Times, and messages to colleagues to keep their feet on the ground, amid the

Operating on the vocal cords is trickier, because a tube that would normally help someone breathe during such a procedure couldn’t go across the vocal cords. In a sign of a possible regional outbreak, Colorado, Illinois and Ohio are reporting cases with symptoms similar to the same virus and are awaiting testing results, according to officials and CNN affiliates in those states. The top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee on Friday said new allegations that U.S. commandos were ordered to “stand down” during the 2012 attack in Benghazi, Libya, aren’t supported by findings from House and Senate investigators. Immigrant-rights groups reacted furiously Saturday after the White House made clear President Obama will not take unilateral action on immigration before November’s elections, nodding at the political realities of the issue as he punted on the key policy questions. With a number of key Senate races in GOP-leaning states, Democrats had feared that action now would anger voters and cost them control of the upper chamber, and had privately begged the White House to hold off on any move to halt deportations. But immigration activists said it’s the latest in a series of moves by Mr. Obama to shove their

Are you tired of being lied to yet? My guess is no... because Americans seem to have developed an infinite capacity for patience with a federal government that is increasingly mettlesome, mendacious and menacing.[SNIP] This last Friday night, an interview was aired which should convince American citizens once and for all that their government is not telling the truth about what happened in Libya two years ago. That’s been obvious to many of us for months, but despite the naming of a select committee by the U.S. House of Representatives to investigate what could have happened, what should have happened,
