Obama to jet off on two-week Martha´s

airstrikes in Iraq and fresh battles in Gaza

President Barack Obama will embark on a previously planned two-week vacation to Martha´s Vineyard tomorrow regardless of the violence in Iraq and Gaza. Even as the first military airstrikes he authorized in northern Iraq were carried out Friday, Obama did not cancel the trip. (Snip)In 2009, Obama remained on vacation in his native of Hawaii after a man aboard a Detroit-bound flight tried to detonate a bomb on Christmas. Obama also continued on with Martha´s Vineyard vacations in 2010 as rebels in Libya were on the verge of ousting their government, and last year when Egypt´s military overthrew the country´s

All I can say is GWB never played a round of golf after 9/11, when we sent troops in harm´s way. It wasn´t because of the bad "optics" of doing so - it was because it was the RIGHT thing to do. A game he loved, one that could have greatly reduced the stress he had taken on, but he didn´t do it.

Class shows. Reverence for the Office and responsibilities inherent in holding such a position. Solidarity with the country and our values, such as they were at the time.

Zippy shows NONE of these characteristics. Dangerous pathological narcissist.

You would think that the Daily Mail would have realized by now that Obama does not care about anyone or anything except Obama. If there were 40,000 American Christians trapped on a barren US mountain, facing either starvation or death by the Mexican drug gang that chased them there, Obama would still fly to the Vineyard today. And, ABC, CBS, NBC and the NY Times and the AP would be breathlessly telling us that "The president is closely following the plight of the families trapped on the rocks and cliffs. He plans on discussing the situation on Monday when his HHS, EPA and WH staff assemble on the Vineyard, weather permitting."

Sociopaths do not have feelings, empathy or a heart.

Everything he does is calculated to distract from what he is really doing. I think he is doing everything he can to keep the Press from talking about the amnesty bill he is about to sign which will open the flood gates to the illegals on our southern border. He is going to slip back to DC with Valerie and use his pen while Congress is out of town. The Press is distracted with the "humanitarian" gestures in Iraq and the bombs being dropped on Isis convoys. This man is evil not caring a whit about anything but himself and getting rid of our Republic.

Does the left really have not one molecule of shame? Zippy should have been forced to resign years ago.

What is the left going to do when the brutality engulfing the ME comes here? Oh, I forgot. Zippy said that we could absorb another terrorist attack. What if it´s a nuke set off in the middle of DC? Can we absorb that?

The meme that Obama is always keeping tabs on events while he is playing on the golf course or flitting about the globe on our dime is a myth. He has told his Staff to "handle it".

Only when the press reaches critical mass will he make some sort of futile gesture to shut everyone up.

Notice how Immigration has now been kicked off the front pages now that Obama has "ordered air strikes"? What a laugh. He ordered the most perfunctory gesture just to get fellow Democrats who know how bad this looks off his back.

Yo. Obama. What about the Christians stuck on the mountain? Or is it only the Yahoodis you care about?

I take that back. He cares about nothing but hisveryownself. If America doesn´t like that, well they can stick it up their ballot boxes.

You´ll be prancing around while being adored and worshipped, Michelle will be scarfing down everything she can get her hands on, you´ll be dancing around the golf course looking so adorable and carefree in your little golf outfits - with not a worry in the world. Of all the places in the USA where B & M and their family could vacation, I have always wondered why they pick Martha´s Vineyard.

Don´t they have a home in Hawaii? He should go back to Oahu and "thrill" the voters there, and, thus, give the mainlanders a break from his "royal" presence.

God only knows, we need a break from Barry and the Mooche - and I bet that, down deep, the Massachusetts residents are quietly glad when he leaves. Having lived in the Mass./RI vicinity in the late 1960´s, the residents there aren´t impressed by people who have no class - it´s a New England mentality.

Fierce fighting has been reported on the outskirts of Baghdad where ISIS militants are attempting to seize control of the Iraqi capital - despite ongoing Western airstrikes against the terror group. The fighting is taking place just one mile to the west of the city, with government forces desperately trying to hold off the militants, who allegedly killed up to 1,000 soldiers during clashes yesterday. ISIS have held a number of towns and villages close to the Iraqi capital since earlier in the year, when government troops melted away following a lightning advance in the west of the country -

As the midterm campaigns heat up, Democratic candidates are turning to the White House for help and an injection of star power. The U.S. had expected the Iraqi army to do more against extremists, president says in acknowledgment of intelligence shortcomings. President Obama acknowledged that the U.S. underestimated the rise of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS, also called ISIL) and overestimated the ability of the Iraqi military to fend off the militant group in an interview that will air Sunday on 60 Minutes. The president was asked by 60 Minutes correspondent Steve Kroft about comments from Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, who has said the U.S. not only underestimated ISIS, it also overestimated the ability and will of the

The Justice Department is expected to ban profiling by federal law enforcement. Counter-terror investigators would be barred from undercover operations in mosques or other religious institutions unless there is reason to believe criminal activity is going on there, under a new policy expected within weeks. The new rules would ban profiling based on religion, ethnicity or sexual orientation and includes no exemption for national security investigations, the Los Angeles Times reports. The announcement of the new policy to crack down on law enforcement profiling was delayed for several months because of White House

A Canadian member of the loathed Islamic State claimed the group is plotting an attack on New York City — and will one day fly its flag over the White House. Days before Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi warned of terrorist plots on subways in New York City and Paris, a video emerged showing an ISIS shill named Farah Shirdon widening the scope of the threat. “God willing, we will make some attacks in New York soon,” he said in a video interview with Vice News last week. “A lot of brothers are mobilizing there right now.” He vowed that U.S.-based fighters are “mobilizing for a brilliant attack.”

The Secret Service was unaware for four days that a man had fired a high-powered rifle at the White House in 2011 in a ´fumbled´ response that left the Obamas furious, says a new report. Officers allegedly performed a string of security lapses after Oscar Ramiro Ortega-Hernandez shot at least seven bullets at the executive mansion in Washington from his car. At the time, President Barack Obama, his wife Michelle and their older daughter Malia were not at home, but their younger daughter Sasha and Mrs Obama´s mother, Marian Robinson, were inside. It comes as the Secret Service is facing more questions over

Democrats think conservatives in general, and Tea Partiers in particular, are stupid. Here’s how to reinforce that belief: Sit out the 2014 congressional elections because your favorite candidate lost his primary bid to an establishment Republican. If you live in Kansas, for example, you can suck your thumb while Democrat ringer Greg Orman beats Republican Senator Pat Roberts. If you’re a Kentucky conservative, you can stay home and b***h about Mitch while Alison “Rubberstamp” Grimes heads to Washington. If you’re in Mississippi, you can stay mad at Thad and allow Travis “no repeal” Childers to win. That’ll show those RINOs! It
