A key ObamaCare official involved in the rocky rollout of Healthcare.gov likely deleted some of her emails that are now being sought as part of an investigation into the problems by a House committee, Fox News confirmed Thursday. The Department of Health and Human Services informed House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa in a letter Thursday that some of the emails belonging to Marilyn Tavenner, who leads the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, may not be “retrievable.” The missing emails belonging to Tavenner, whose agency runs the ObamaCare exchanges, were first reported by msnbc.com.

Remember her? She too stonewalled through hearings.

Her agency is best known as CMS. which also runs Medicare.

I think a little Jail time is EXACTLY what these people, who are thumbing their noses and laughing "catch me if you can" while they delete their e-mails, need. Seems to be a trend going on here. Time to put a stop to it. Grow a pair and toss their pretty little rear ends in Jail!

The emails are still out there. While someone wades through the servers, get her mailing list and make THEM testify under oath about emails. Make THEM produce copies. Find out how many people want to go to jail for this creep.

Assuming 10,000 e-mails per month and 10 months since rollout, the are claiming to have about 70%. That means someone has found and eliminated the most damaging 30%.

#5 is right. The emails are still out there if all she did was delete them from her local pc. And if the IT guys aren´t properly backing up and storing the emails long term - then they are violating federal law and need to be looking at prison time: that ought to make some of them squeal on the others about what went on.

Editor’s note: On Friday, Vikings running back Adrian Peterson turned himself in on charges of child abuse, accused of injuring his four-year-old son as he whipped him with a small tree branch, commonly called a “switch.” Peterson acknowledged that he had spanked the boy because he had misbehaved, but said he did not intend to hurt the child. The case reminded She The People of this story from 1998 by Washington Post writer DeNeen L. Brown, which explores the debate around spanking, especially within the African American community. Perhaps the best way to think of this is to use President Obama’s own words. It appears the “doctors, farmers, pharmacists and so forth” have struck up a truce with ISIS. That’s a problem, because Obama’s ISIS elimination plan requires the “doctors, farmers, pharmacists and so forth” to fight against ISIS on the ground while we shoot at ISIS from the sky. If the “doctors, farmers, pharmacists and so forth” don’t put the pointy end toward the Islamic State, oops, wait, sorry… the non-Islamic Islamic State (NI-ISIS) in Syria, then who will?

No one has considered Apple a serious data company, until now. For years, Apple has offered Internet services like email and online calendars. But Tuesday, with the introduction of health-monitoring technology and a new service that will allow people to buy things wirelessly with some Apple devices, the Cupertino, Calif., company positioned itself as a caretaker of valuable personal information, like credit card numbers and heart rates. (Snip)Against that background, Apple faces two threats to its new services: one from hackers always looking for clever ways to steal financial information, and another from regulators increasingly interested in ensuring that information gleaned

A former director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Robert Mueller III, will lead a probe into the National Football League´s handling of former Baltimore Ravens player Ray Rice´s domestic violence case, the league said on Wednesday. The announcement comes within hours of a report by the Associated Press that a law enforcement official sent a video to the league in April that showed Rice knocking out his then-fiancee in an elevator. The official wanted the NFL to have the video before deciding how to punish Rice, the agency said, adding that the official spoke on condition of anonymity.

Cruz agreed to speak to this group, which included bishops of the Catholic and Orthodox Churches, ostensibly out of solidarity, but took the occasion to antagonize them over their insufficient praise for Israel, then smeared them as anti-Semites before dropping the mic. Voter turnout during last month´s primary races was a little too good in some counties, Arizona elections officials said Friday. Some precincts in northern Arizona tallied more ballots cast than there are registered voters, the Arizona Capitol Times reported. According to officials, errors made by poll workers and elections officials in Apache and Navajo counties led to the miscalculations. Initial reports from some precincts showed a turnout of anywhere from 200 to 400 percent. In Apache County, the Puerco West precinct reportedly had 100 votes cast, but only 23 voters are registered there. The voter turnout added up to 434
