US begins airdrop of aid in
Iraq as ISIS threatens massacre

Jerusalem Post [Israel], by Michael Wilner

Washington - The United States is flying planes full of humanitarian aid into Iraq, preparing to airdrop the packages onto a mountaintop hosting tens of thousands of religious minorities seeking refuge from the threat of imminent slaughter by an army of Islamist extremists. Without adequate supplies of food or water, Yazidis have attempted to flee militants from the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, or ISIS, into northern Iraq´s Sinjar mountain range. ISIS, a Sunni fundamentalist militia controlling territory through eastern Syria and northern Iraq, has threatened all religious groups unlike themselves with extermination, should they refuse to

Drop food, not bombs. 0bama never fails to disappoint. He could have done both and taken care of the cockroach problem around the base of the mountains.

All he is doing is telling ISIS to hurry up.

By not bombing ISIS and giving food and sustenance aid to Iraq religious minorities, it´s an invitation to ISIS to move quickly to get the aid before it is consumed.

Consequences. Intended or Unintended ???

Actions speak louder than words - Obama speaks a lot and says nothing. His actions lead me to believe the consequences are Intended.

Was there a secret order directing aid airdrops to miss the mountain tops and instead fall into the hands of the beloved ISIS?

President Barack Obama reportedly ignored questions from the press Tuesday afternoon after the jihadist group calling itself the Islamic State (also ISIS or ISIL) released a video that appeared to show a second American journalist being beheaded. According to a tweet from Time magazine political reporter Zeke Miller, Obama ignored a question that was "shouted" at him as he boarded Marine One and departed the White House for a previously planned trip to Europe. Miller told Business Insider the question was "Sotloff-related." Bloomberg Television´s White House correspondent, Phil Mattingly, subsequently reported Obama got on

The federal government has reportedly lost track of more than 6,000 foreigners on student visas, some of whom may be in the country "to do us harm." According to an ABC News investigation, "58,000 students overstayed their visas in the past year. Of those, 6,000 were referred to agents for follow-up because they were determined to be of heightened concern." ABC found that "the number of foreign nationals obtaining visas to study in the U.S. has grown from 662,966 in 2003 to more than 1.2 million in 2012." As our own Philip Rucker first reported last week, Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-La.) is the latest senator to be confronted by questions about just how much she actually lives in her home state. Where Landrieu differs from others who have faced similar questions, though, is that she has routinely worked on issues important to the District of Columbia. Hence, there are a whole bunch of news clips talking about her focus on D.C. -- which isn´t exactly helpful for her very difficult reelection race. American Crossroads is up with a damning new web ad splicing together many of these clips. It ends with a particularly devastating quote

Hong Kong - Former House Majority Leader Eric Cantor is taking his talents to Wall Street, joining boutique investment bank Moelis & Co. as a vice chairman and board member. Cantor´s move into the private sector was widely anticipated following his June electoral defeat at the hands of an unknown economics professor -- one of the biggest political upsets in recent memory. Cantor then chose to resign from his position in the leadership rather than finish his term. The 7-term congressman´s decision set off speculation about his next gig -- be it at a bank, lobby shop or law firm. Moelis said that Cantor will work out of New York and a

President Obama is increasingly using federal contractors as testing grounds for his social agenda, including a higher minimum wage and expanded gay rights. Driving bidders out of the marketplace, they say, will lead to fewer choices and higher costs for the government. We´ve all heard the expression: "A man´s best friend is his equipment." You haven´t? Well you must not work for the Pentagon. There, military dogs are considered mere "equipment" and as such can be left behind when the troops come home. It´s a bit more complicated than that. Military dogs are enlisted (drafted actually) to identify enemy locations, to seek out bombs and protect bases. It is dangerous, often traumatic, work. The dogs are credited with saving countless U.S. and allied lives, which is why the Taliban actively targets our dogs of war. While on active service, each dog is given a higher rank than its handler.

President Obama needs to take action to stop Islamic State (Isis) militants from targeting cities in America and Western Europe, two senators have warned.
