Schools brace for up to 50,000 migrants
USA Today, by Jolie Lee

Schools across the USA are bracing for as many as 50,000 immigrant children who could start school this fall, most of them unaccompanied by their families. "We haven´t started school yet, so we are all just holding our breath to see what´s going to come on the first day of school," says Caroline Woodason, assistant director of school support for Dalton Public Schools in Georgia. Under federal law, all children are entitled to a free public education, regardless of their immigration status. It´s nothing new for public schools to serve immigrant students. But Francisco Negron, general counsel for the National School

There are no laws any more, only executive actions. All governors have a fiduciary responsibility to their state´s tax paying citizens to nullify this "so called" law and refuse to enroll anyone who cannot prove they are legally in the country.

There are laws that protect the tax payers from exactly this sort of invasion, and those laws are being thwarted by the dimocrats. We need to thwart them back.

I implore all state´s governors to protect their legal citizens against this massive theft.

Time to update the Statue of Liberty´s message to: Give us your tired, your poor, your diseased, your unwanted children, your psychologically disturbed, your gang members and the most violent members of your societies. heard yesterday from a family friend in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He let us know that our worthless president arranged for a TON of these illegal alien invaders to be dumped at a certain military base nearby. The upshot is that there are MANY, well over a thousand, new entrants into Tulsa area schools. Most have never been to school before, anywhere. Non-English speaking, of course, And many don´t speak Spanish either, quite a few only speak the pre-Columbian Indio languages, non-written by the way. Should be quite a treat in the classrooms. Will add ghastly costs, greatly reduce the educational attainment of the students who just happen to belong there, and so forth. And generate cries for more federal funds, which will probably come, with stipulations that will further add US Dept of Ed encroachments.
May Obumble and all the enablers of this invasion be cursed now and forever.

If so called "comprehensive immigration reform, the massive liberal Democrat amnesty passes, the influx of impoverished and uneducated aliens coming into the USA will be a hundred times worse then we are seeing today, because that proposal does away with the national quotas for the close relatives of immigrants and will allow all legalized aliens, and new immigrants, to bring in their close foreign relatives in unlimited numbers. The Democrats will impose a "streamlined" citizenship process for those aliens leading to a duel-nationality status with US voting rights for all. Once that happens tens of millions will be able to bring their elderly foreign parents into the USA also in unlimited numbers. Since there will be no jobs for that many poor and uneducated aliens most will be forced to access all sorts of social welfare and social security programs to survive. There will be huge expenses that will have to be defrayed by the Americans who actually do pay taxes, and that means the American middle class.

The U.S. is "gravely concerned" about the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons´s findings last week of systematic and repeated chlorine attacks in northern Syria, Secretary of State John Kerry said in a written statement Sunday. "The Assad regime must know that it will be held to account for such use in the international community," Kerry said, noting that the report raises "especially troubling concerns that continued chemical attacks on the Syrian people by the regime could occur." The OPCW released its report on Wednesday. While it does not assign responsibility, Kerry pointed to witness accounts of helicopters

A significant benefit of the Affordable Care Act is the opportunity to receive money-saving tax credits up front to cut the overall cost of health insurance, but now hundreds of thousands of consumers could owe back some of that money next April. Those affected took advance payments of the premium tax credit for health insurance. Some married couples could owe $600 or $1,500 or $2,500 or even more. It might feel like a raw deal for some who are already suffocating under the escalating costs of health insurance. "Health insurance is confusing enough, and now they´re adding the complexities of

On Meet the Press Sunday morn, host Chuck Todd found a new way to say the exact same thing political pundits have been saying daily for the past year: the 2014 midterms structurally favor Republicans thanks to the Senate seats at play. Or in Todd’s new red-state-blue-stateish formulation, it’s Starbucks Nation vs. Chick-Fil-A country. The chain-based heuristic refers to urban areas that vote Democratic versus ex-urban and rural areas that vote Republican. In 2012 the battleground states favored urban, Starbucks-pocked areas, hence Obama’s win; in the upcoming election, the toss-up states are more rural,

Three and a half months have come and gone and the Pentagon has offered no clarity on what happened to alleged Army deserter and Taliban collaborator Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl. Fellow soldiers and other critics fear the military’s now-delayed investigation is shaping up to be a whitewash. The case has become a political powder keg for President Obama. Since he traded five imprisoned Taliban leaders for Bergdahl, the US Government Accountability Office has declared the swap illegal, and nearly two dozen House Democrats have joined Republicans in officially condemning the move for making “Americans less safe.”
