Illegal Minors’ Legal Representation

Cybercast News Service, by Melanie Hunter

Foundation Beyond Belief, the nation’s largest humanist charity organization, launched a campaign last month to raise money for the legal representation of “child refugees who have fled poverty and violence to reach the Southern border of the United States in recent months.” Two beneficiaries have been chosen to receive these funds – Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) and The Florence Immigrant and Refugee Rights Project, which focus on providing lawyers for unaccompanied illegal minors in immigration hearings. Both groups have offices in Texas, Arizona and California and already offer legal assistance. However, they need resources to handle the uptick in unaccompanied

Comments:
The insane leftist radicals are coming out of the walls to defend these criminals. If they hate this country so much that they want to destroy it they should get the hell out of here!! They infuriate me! Humanist? What in the world is some idiot called a humanist??

The magic words are ´fled poverty´. They can come here and be showered with palatial housing, flat screen tvs, toys, 24-hour food, free electricity for heat and a/c, free schooling, free to spread diseases and increase MS-13 gang ranks, free health care, free monthly checks, etc. What´s not to like for them?

People with a short experience with lefty organizations are always bamboozled by these "compassionate" socialists. I have a long history of elbows going back to the 60s and college. They were always lead by student Trustfund Trotskys.

Fighter With ‘Vetted Moderate’
Syrian Rebels Tells LA Times
They Fight Alongside Al-Qaeda
PJ Media, by Patrick Poole    Original Article
Posted By: KarenJ1- 9/9/2014 3:04:20 PM     Post Reply
Last week here at PJ Media, I reported on the ongoing relations between the U.S.-backed “vetted moderate” Free Syrian Army and ISIS. I also noted that, at this time last year, the received wisdom of the Washington, D.C. foreign policy establishment was that the Syrian rebels were largely moderate. Now, a report in this past Sunday’s LA Times from the frontlines in Syria finds that another “vetted moderate” rebel group, Harakat Hazm – which has received anti-tank missiles from the U.S. — has been working with al-Qaeda’s official Syrian affiliate, Jabhat al-Nusra: a U.S.-designated terrorist organization.

Goldberg: Obama Will Do ´Just Enough

The Beltway is buzzing about what President Obama will announce in a primetime address Wednesday that will deal with combating ISIS. Earlier this week, the New York Times reported that the White House was preparing a plan that some Pentagon officials believe will require at least three years of sustained effort. Jonah Goldberg argued on Happening Now that President Obama´s strategy on foreign policy and the war on terror is to do "just enough" to get it out of the headlines and to "put out annoying political fires." "[His approach] is to always use words whenever words are possible and when the words

Funnyman-turned-senator Al Franken is running a dead serious campaign for re-election, as some observers see him potentially vulnerable due to President Obama´s low approval ratings in Minnesota and a vigorous GOP opponent with eyes on a sleeper upset. Just how vulnerable is up for debate, and the race nevertheless is seen as favoring the Democrats. But both sides now acknowledge that, with less than two months to go until Election Day, Minnesota´s Senate contest between Franken and Mike McFadden, a longtime Minnesota businessman, is shaping up as a battle. "We´ve always known this was going to be a tough

Following the release of new footage that seems to show now former-Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice punching his then-fiancée in the face, it’s important to remember that the prosecutor who let Rice off with a slap on the wrist is now trying to throw the book at a young mother of two who tried to protect herself and her family from violence. Atlantic County Prosecutor Jim McClain approved an application for admitting Rice into New Jersey’s Pre-Trial Intervention program that allowed the NFL star to avoid jail time. Instead, Rice has to undergo counseling and will be immediately incarcerated

Former Vice President Dick Cheney met with House Republicans Tuesday morning after returning from their August recess, warning lawmakers about how grave the threat of Islamic State (ISIS) terrorists is. But some anti-interventionist Republicans were not thrilled about Cheney’s foreign policy views returning to prominence in the party. Rep. Justin Amash, R-MI, fresh off of his victory of a contentious Republican primary, was one of them. Asked by the Washington Post’s Robert Costa whether it was time for Republicans to stop listening to Cheney, Amash replied “Yeah … Because Republicans don’t agree with him … they don’t

Nearly a year ago, a group of Catholic women religious filed suit against the Obama administration due to the HHS Mandate. Today, the administration announced that their court case against the Little Sisters of the Poor will continue, in spite of the Hobby Lobby court decision last June. The Little Sisters of the Poor do not want to provide contraception coverage to employees of their nursing homes as this would violate their religious beliefs. The Little Sisters of the Poor provide care for the elderly poor, regardless of their religious affiliation. As the sisters refuse to serve and employ only Catholics,

The Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate in Montana last month dodged questions about her ties to a group that explicitly advocates the abolition of capitalism in the United States. “That sounds like contemporary communism,” said Montana Public Radio reporter Edward O’Brien of the Industrial Workers of the World, a labor group for which Montana legislator Amanda Curtis’ husband is a representative. Her ties to the group have come under scrutiny since she won the Democratic nomination for Senate. She replaced disgraced Sen. Senate Democrats at a press conference on Monday unveiling a constitutional amendment designed to alter First Amendment freedoms argued that their effort is both nonpartisan and absolutely essential to advance the agenda of the Democratic Party. “We are here today to overturn Citizens United,” said Sen. Tom Udall (D., N.M.), the amendment’s author. However, the language of the amendment does not specifically address Citizens United, and would not require Congress to address the issues raised in the case. Rather, legislators would be given free rein to enact restrictions on political speech as they see fit. Given efforts by Reid and others to demonize

And Psaki’s colleague Marie Harf makes me barf. Together Psaki and Harf give the catastrophic foreign policy of the Obama administration a lighter than air, Valley Girl kind of feel. It’s a novel use of expressive form. Paul Mirengoff explores their weightlessness in the adjacent post. A Los Angeles Times story suggests that Obama will rely on proxies to fight ISIS at three levels: on the ground, within the region and in the West. Kerry invokes comparisons to the Sunni Awakening, seeking to recall the days when al-Qaeda in Iraq was beaten by George Bush. Obama plans to organize the Sunni Arabs to fight ISIS.

The Obama administration will make a decision on executive action to prevent corporations from leaving the country in the "very near future," Treasury Secretary Jack Lew said Monday morning.
