As the number of deaths linked to that widespread Ebola outbreak continues to rise, there are new concerns that the killer virus is spreading. The World Health Organization is looking into reports of new Ebola related deaths in Nigeria and Saudi Arabia. There have been 45 newly confirmed deaths in the past two days, bringing the death toll to 932. Europe is also dealing with its first Ebola patient, a Spanish priest who reportedly contracted the disease in Liberia is now being treated in Madrid. The National Institutes of Health´s Dr. Anthony Fauci weighs in on the outbreak, and lays out how to

The stuff of nightmares, an overactive imagination, or the plot of a new novel (feel free to borrow and expand on the idea):

Ebola is rare and airplane crashes are rare BUT- what happens if an unscreened case on an airliner entering the United States is involved in a crash? Survivors are screened for anything but Ebola and sent home. Fatalities leak all over the place and screening for cause of death may be a little cursory.

What happens next?

Virus´ mutate! This is NOT fiction.

At some point in time, Ebola was NOT an airborne disease, however one only has to research HIV´s ability to mutate and acquire drug resistance to realize that Mother Nature can do whatever she wants.

Earth Abides, but maybe not the human race.

Just a few days ago ,because conservatives brought attention to what we should do about Ebola, the left wing lectured us not to panic in a condescending manner. Today the CDC goes to battle stations and the left steam media look like the idiots they are. The are as dumb as rocks and the government is lying. Bank on it.

Billions will not change behavior.

In this day of easy air travel, terrorism, carelessness borne of Political Correctness, fear that the ebola contagion will spread beyond West African states is not an irrational fear.

Also, it is a virus. It´s my understanding that viruses mutate. The influenza virus changes from year to year; so does the AIDS virus.

Isolation is the most effective means of containing the outbreak, but how do you quarantine entire nations?

When asked by the insufferable Obama lover Julie Pace from AP today at that news conference, Obama said "Ebola can be controlled and contained very effectively if we use the right protocols.” As if he knows anything about it.

Add this to the very long list of reasons why he should be impeached. He never should have allowed them to enter this country. We have disease ridden illegals flooding over the borders and now this. He clearly doesn´t give a damn about the security of the American people and these very dangerous health threats. Dr. Ben Carson said today on Cavuto that they never should have been allowed into the country.

Russian strategic nuclear bombers carried out air defense zone incursions near Alaska and across Northern Europe this week in the latest nuclear saber rattling by Moscow. Six Russian aircraft, including two Bear H nuclear bombers, two MiG-31 fighter jets and two IL-78 refueling tankers were intercepted by F-22 fighters on Wednesday west and north of Alaska in air defense identification zones, said Navy Capt. Russia has said the conduct of the Scottish referendum "did not meet international standards", with its observers complaining the count took place in rooms that were too big and that the procedure was badly flawed. In an apparent attempt to mirror persistent western criticism of Russia´s own elections, Igor Borisov – an accredited observer – said the poll failed to meet basic international norms. Borisov and three other Russians arrived in Edinburgh on Wednesday evening, the state news agency Ria Novosti reported. The team from Moscow´s Public Institute of Suffrage watched voting take place in the Scottish capital and the surrounding area.

Gov. Jerry Brown has handed California cities some sought-after tools for controlling a massage industry boom. Cities and police officers have complained about a proliferation of massage parlors in recent years, saying the culprit was a 2008 law giving the nonprofit California Massage Therapy Council overriding authority for overseeing massage parlors. The issue was a priority for the League of California Cities. Brown announced on Thursday that he had signed Assembly Bill 1147, which restores some power to local jurisdictions – notably granting them land-use powers making it easier to shut down or restrict the number of massage establishments.

Meanwhile, the blue-chip swap rate was up seven cents and closed at 13.49 pesos. Meanwhile, the US dollar climbed one cent to 8.43 pesos in Buenos Aires City

Fellow soldiers and other critics fear the military’s now-delayed investigation is shaping up to be a whitewash. The case has become a political powder keg for President Obama.
