How could someone who had only been in the Afghan army for 2 years "be a soldier with no history of suspicious behavior"? Then again, our Major Hassan had a series of truly suspicious if not treasonous behavior but he was still promoted and sent to Ft Hood to await transfer to Afghanistan.

Ideology trumps everything. These barbarians are incapable of rational thought process. All they know is brutality and murder. They should be treated like every insane person in a lockdown facility. You never turn your back on them and never allow them to place themselves between you and the door. They also need to know that there are eyes trained on them at all times and they will be shot dead immediately if they turn a gun on an American. Make sure they are always outgunned and out numbered in any space because they keep proving they are unworthy of our trust.

One report I heard was that they were shot by a machine gun in an adjacent building, apparently not within the security perimeter.

Probably not possible unless there were several soldiers in on the plan.

Silly me. I have a suggested new protocol for such meetings with our "allies" in the Middle East.

1. Disarm every participating ally.
2. Have our soldiers participate with drawn weapons at all times.

Congress is living in an "evidence-free zone" as it debates issues of equal pay and family-friendly work policies, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Thursday. Here is President Barack Obama´s challenge: how to unleash the dogs of war without having them run wild. This dilemma applies to both the political and policy considerations Obama faces, as he expands US military action in Iraq (and possibly Syria) to counter ISIS, the militant and murderous outfit that now calls itself the Islamic State and controls territory in northern Iraq and eastern Syria. President Obama this week committed professional suicide. Let me explain. There is a theory in politics that once a leader has fired 50 or more people from his or her administration, he or she is finished. The reason being that by creating so many enemies ‘outside the tent’, the tent itself becomes too deluged with poisonous bile to avoid sinking into a quagmire of back-stabbing ignominy. Obama went a lot further than firing 50 people. He managed to single-handedly alienate 200,000 employees in the American intelligence agencies by going on 60 Minutes and ruthlessly chucking them all under a bus

HOUSTON, Texas -- Former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay was found not guilty today by the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. This is the highest appellate court in Texas for criminal cases and thus brings DeLay’s political persecution to an end. The court upheld the ruling last year from the Texas 3rd Court of Appeals. That decision tossed out the convictions on money laundering and conspiracy charges. At that time Justice Melissa Goodwin wrote “The fundamental problem with the state´s case was its failure to prove proceeds of criminal activity,” according to a September 19th report on Breitbart News.

So it was understandable that after he lost the presidential race in 2012, he was adamant about closing the door to the possibility of a third campaign. When asked if he was running in a New York Times interview published earlier this week, Romney said : “I have nothing to add to the story.
