How to really turn
the economy around

USA Today, by Charles Koch

Original Article

Posted By:MDMuskrat, 8/5/2014 11:58:46 PM

For years, Washington politicians have said that our economy is turning the corner. They said it in 2011, in 2013 and again last week — every time they report a quarter with 4% economic growth. But each time, the economy has turned sluggish again. Like most Americans, I am deeply concerned about our weak economic recovery and its effects on millions of families. Opportunity, especially for the young and disadvantaged, is declining. High underemployment has become our new norm.

Yeah, the economy has been "turning the corner" constantly for the last few years, that´s what happens when you are circling the drain.

Pay NO attention the either of the two Koch brothers. Just because they have worked hard to ´make it´, doesn´t mean you have to follow in their footsteps.

Who knows, next month when you buy lottery tickets with your welfare check, you could become a multi-millionaire; then, you can say, "Nah, nah, nah, Koch Brothers!"

Obviously, Dear Leader Barack Hussein has had no intention whatsoever of helping turn the economy around. Quite the opposite. He refuses to get out of Galt´s way, on purpose.

This is the first time this year I´ve heard someone espousing conservative principles to bring our economy back and create jobs. It is certainly not Republican candidates.

The quickest way to turn the economy around would be to fire Obama and throw the democrats out of office.

Klinghoffer: The Beatification of Terrorism
Breitbart Big Peace, by Dr. Phyllis Chesler    Original Article

New York Jewish and anti-Jihadi activists are planning what they hope will be a massive demonstration outside of the Metropolitan Opera on September 22, 2014, at 4:30pm, when “The Death of Klinghoffer,” composed by John Adams with a libretto by Alice Goodman, has its first performance. Although I am a serious opera fan and a strong believer in the First Amendment, I will be among them. Here’s why.  The libretto presents a false and defamatory narrative of Jews and America; depicts an entirely untrue, unbalanced, and maliciously immoral history of the founding of the state of Israel-- especially in Penny Woolcock’s filmed version of the opera which

We have a profoundly serious problem of illegal immigration, but we also have a problem of legal immigration, Unfortunately, it is a problem that can barely be discussed. Is there anyone who thinks the continued stream of Muslim immigration from countries with active jihadist groups is a good idea? Canadian poet and essayist David Solway broadly raises the problem of Muslim immigration in the PJ Media column “The new colonizers.” I think he gives voice to reasonable concerns in the back of many minds:

Europe’s troubled wind turbine industry has a new predicament, with a householder in Denmark successfully suing Vestas, a Danish wind turbine manufacturer. Vestas was sued by the householder with the help of International Law Office and awarded 500,000 Danish kroner (£53,000) in compensation for the loss of property values due to visual interference, inconvenience caused by the noise of the blades and light reflection. Australia became the first country to detail troop numbers and aircraft for a U.S.-led coalition fighting Islamic State militants in Iraq, as Washington drums up support for global action to counter the terrorist threat. Australia Prime Minister Tony Abbott said on Sunday a 600-strong force comprising some 400 airforce personnel and 200 special forces soldiers would be deployed to a U.S. military base in the United Arab Emirates. A number of countries have responded to U.S. President Barack Obama´s call to join a coalition against Islamic State, but Australia is the first to publicly provide specific troop numbers and

In January, President Barack Obama dismissed the Islamic State (ISIS) as merely a “JV team.” Last week, Obama reversed that position and told NBC News ISIS is “not a JV team.” Similarly, two weeks ago Obama said the Islamic State can be shrunk to “a manageable problem.” Then on Friday, as NBC News reported, “The Obama administration said for the first time Friday that the United States is ‘at war’ with ISIS militants.”    Given the Administration’s contradictory and muddled messages, here, then, are seven ISIS facts:  1. Scotland will vote "No" in next week´s referendum. But I wish it were otherwise. Here are some reasons why I urge the Scots to vote "yes" to independence. 1. David Cameron will lose his job as prime minister. Not only will this be extremely satisfying when it finally happens but it will also provide weeks of excellent sport as he strives, desperately, to ignore the clamour from his backbenchers (and half his frontbenchers) demanding that he does the decent thing and resign. How did Iowa state senator Joni Ernst become a threat to Harry Reid’s Democratic majority in the U.S. Senate? “The Democrats have thrown everything but the kitchen sink at Ms. Ernst, and at the best this race is a tie, it’s still a pure toss-up in what should be a marginally Democrat environment in Iowa,” a GOP pollster told NRO. This race was not supposed to challenge Democrats or drain their resources. “I was confident Rep. Braley would win the day he announced,” state Democratic-party chairman Tyler Olsen said in February, “and I’m only getting more confident every day.”

Senator Jeff Sessions (R., Ala.), the ranking member of the Senate Budget Committee, delivered a speech on the Senate floor Wednesday evening about Senate Democrats’ refusal to support legislation to block the president’s proposed executive actions on immigration policy, and the interests supporting amnesty. Following is an adapted version of his remarks.
Earlier this week I spoke about the president’s promise that he would issue an executive amnesty to 5 or 6 million people. The planned amnesty would include work permits, photo IDs, and Social Security numbers for millions of people who illegally entered the U.S., illegally overstayed their visas, or defrauded U.S. immigration authorities. The Senate Democratic conference has supported and enabled the president’s unlawful actions and blocked every effort to stop them. Devastating. That´s really the only way to describe Politico´s piece on DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz. (I hereby nominate her for Worst Week in Washington.) (Editor´s note: Three words -- Joseph. Robinette. Biden.) Based on interviews with DNC staffers -- both former and current -- the piece described Wasserman Schultz as something of a modern-day Tracy Flick: over-eager, disloyal and not shy about promoting her ambitions. It would be fair to say that she sounds like, well, a lot like other politicians. And this would be accurate.
