Megyn Kelly: Secret of her success
Politico, by Hadas Gold

Original Article

Glenn Greenwald wants to make this perfectly clear: He finds Megyn Kelly’s views “viscerally repellent.” But the crusading privacy journalist has plenty of complimentary things to say about how the Fox primetime host conducts herself on air. “She has a lower tolerance for being fed incoherent tripe from her own side than the average cable news TV host,” Greenwald said in an email. “Most Fox and MSNBC hosts treat even the most blatant idiocy with respect if it advances their party’s political agenda for the vapid cable news partisan controversy of the day. Kelly, by contrast, seems to be often contemptuous

It´s not a hit piece. Anything but. If we read only the headline and/or the brief intro, we are doomed to missing a lot of information. And usually the gist of the piece, the whole point of what the author is trying to say. It is only about Greenwald in the beginning, and he grudgingly commends her. It´s all good stuff from there on.

Megyn´s the best. She´s warm, witty, beautiful, smart and fearless. She´s doesn´t flaunt her beauty or physical assets, as some of Fox´s women do. If you´ve got it, you don´t have to. By the way, I love Fox and their lineup of personalities; it´s just that some ´try a wee bit too hard´.

Greenwald is an idiot. He singles out Fox and MSNBC and fails to mention the MSM who do exactly what he accuses Fox and MSMBC of doing, i.e. giving creedence to the most idiotic idea/position if it furthers the "party´s" position. The second thing he does is equate Fox with MSNBC a typical mantra of the left. He does not deserve to be read as he is just another liberal hack.

Yes, she is good . . . her interviews are generally to the point no matter who she is talking to - and ether gets answers or mumbling double talk but she doesn´t allow the "non-answer" and filibustering.

Megyn´s fingers are on the pulse of America, and her heart is in the right place. She has 3 young sons, and she is doing her best to give them the same freedom and opportunities she has had. She has the courage, wit and wisdom to lead. Now she has the platform to do it. Her interviews with Bill Ayers and Dinesh D´Souza were incredibly incisive and eye-opening.

Glenn Greenwald wants to make this perfectly clear: He finds Megyn Kelly’s views “viscerally repellent.”

Greenwald represents the overwhelming mindset of western ´media´. Please do n ot fall for the subsequent ´professional´ acceptance words that follow.

As far as I am concerned, who knows what her "views" are? Has she mentioned them to Greenwald? How does he know what they are? Etcetera....

Greenwald attributes his deep prejudice to all things Fox, like so many other idiots do, without examining the specifics. No different than wonderful actress Penelope Cruz, et al. It is pathetic that Politico and this writer feels the ´visceral´ hate is so strong they, in their own minds, have to lead with that.

This supposed ´complimentary´ piece says it all about why & how western media indicts itself. Yet the sheep continue to mindlessly wonder why there is little political compromise or cooperation. It is exactly because of this mindset.

She is ´repellent" except, grudgingly, she is professional. But her views, whatever they are, despite the fact Greenwald and Politico have no idea what they are, are "viscerally repellant".

And Greenwald is a serious ´hero´ in many intellectual corridors. Pathetic

Megyn has had some great and hard hitting interviews. Having said that, ever since she opened an interview with Ted Cruz asking him how it felt to be "the most hated man in America", I´ve had some issues with her. There have been a couple of other instances where I have been confounded by her positions. Overall, her program is a positive addition to the discussion.

A lot of National Football League players have been right up on the front page lately, but for all the wrong reasons. Ray Rice is in serious trouble for knocking his then-fiancé out cold—the tape of the event is enough to make almost anyone at least slightly ill. Adrian Peterson will soon be up on charges for punishing his four-year-old son with a switch. Two other ballers of an especially hard-nosed type are also in trouble with the law over domestic abuse. Greg Hardy of the Carolina Panthers has been convicted of the crime: his case is on appeal.

Vice President Biden´s Wednesday kicked off with an acknowledgment that he had used a "poor choice of words." By day´s end, he had put foot in his mouth again. Twice. Biden opened the door to the possibility the United States could commit ground troops to fight the Islamic State in Iraq, a strategy the Obama administration has painstakingly avoided raising. That came shortly after he walked back his use of the word "Shylocks" and his use of the anachronistic term "Orient" to describe Asia. Even for the gregarious and outspoken vice president, whose candor has all too often gotten him into hot

Nearly two million Americans could be affected by what’s been termed the “family glitch” within President Obama’s healthcare law, according to a new study by the American Action Forum. In theory, Obamacare is supposed to offer fully or partially subsidized health insurance to Americans below a certain income threshold if they do not have the option of obtaining affordable coverage through their employers. "Affordable" is defined as coverage cheaper than 9.5 percent of household income. But under a ruling by the Internal Revenue Service, an employer is only required to offer affordable coverage to individuals. The “glitch” arises when one or both spouses

The U.S. has spent $104 billion to rebuild Afghanistan’s security forces, infrastructure, economy, and health care and education sectors.
