Affidavit: Both foster parents smoking
pot while baby in hot car

Wichita Eagle [KS], by Tim Potter

Original Article

Posted By:Fiesta del sol, 8/5/2014 7:19:51 AM

Both foster parents of a 10-month-old girl who died after being left in a hot car were smoking marijuana while she remained in the vehicle outside, a Wichita police affidavit says. The affidavit, filed in Sedgwick County District Court and released Monday, provides new details about what led up to the July 24 death, including that one of the foster parents realized that the baby remained in the car when he heard a baby crying on a television show they were watching. They rushed outside, but her body was hot and already stiff, and she was unresponsive, the court document

Comments:
He and his partner left that girl way longer than two hours. Smoking pot and watching Game of Thrones. And they have other foster children as well. That poor little baby.

So two pot-smoking guys can now be called foster "parents"? Looks like the foster money was buying some dank weed and a nice car. Thank goodness Wichita at least had the sense to charge him with first degree murder. He can go live in the big house with the guys and watch Game of Thrones for a good long while.

Two gay stoners were deemed to be an improvement than this child´s natural parents. Makes you wonder what her natural parents were like.

On a side note, this is one of the unintended consequences of the infant car seat laws and air bags. The child no longer can sit in the front seat with his/her parent, and as a result, is more likely to be left in the car.

This is one of the worst effects of pot. It´s called "spacing out" and leads to many accidents and deaths. People space out all the time without weed but weed amplifies it greatly. Memory loss combined with forgetfulness combined with being sidetracked by trivial things folded in with reduced awareness.
Poor baby, RIP.

While you´re at it, arrest the DFACS employees that deemed these two homosexual stoners as appropriate "foster parents" for multiple children of the state. They need to be in side-by-side prison cells.

There is a segment of foster parenting that is done strictly for the money. These parasitic types live off these babies, where government largess supplies them with a lucrative income with which they pay for housing, food and pot. The more government pays the way for these types, the more fraud and abuse will go on.

Arizona´s entire congressional delegation sent a letter Thursday to Veterans Affairs Secretary Robert McDonald urging him to name a permanent leader of the Phoenix VA medical center to replace Director Sharon Helman even though she remains on the agency´s payroll. The letter, unusual in its bipartisan consensus, notes that two temporary bosses have overseen the beleaguered Phoenix VA Health Care System since Helman was placed on leave May 1 amid allegations of fraud and mismanagement. U.S. Customs and Border Protection wasted millions of dollars, violated federal laws and ignored its own rules in spending nearly $17 million to build housing in Ajo for its employees, according to an audit by the Department of Homeland Security´s Office of Inspector General. When Texas Gov. Perry was under attack from the left wing, and his response was not to apologize but to walk through a hail of blue-hued bullets and emerge laughing, without a mark on him. But some conservative true believers have begun to notice something rather suspicious: The company Perry keeps seems more suited to a mainstream

There is a fun foreign policy game making all the rounds in Washington D.C. this summer: Pin the tail on Barack Obama. Its appeal is not hard to understand; it´s so easy to play. Step 1: Pick a foreign crisis that touches even slightly on U.S. national security interests. This shouldn´t be hard, because the United States defines practically everything in the world as being an American interest.Step 2: Make clear that this is no garden-variety problem but rather "the defining crisis of [OBAMA´S] presidency," or a threat to the "very foundations of global order" or the answer to the question,

The No. 1 priority in electing someone after President Obama should be finding someone who does not believe the world conforms to his worldview simply because he says it does. It’s a very dangerous state of mind. Speaking at a $15K-a-plate DCCC fund raiser tonight, natch, CBS correspondent Mark Knoller quoted Obama: Pres Obama said “The world’s always been messy … we’re just noticing now in part because of social media."—if Knoller weren’t so serious, you could be forgiven for thinking it was satire. Qua speech, Barack Obama’s address Wednesday on the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria was surprisingly terrible: a disorganized mess, insincere and unconvincing. To appreciate just how bad and bizarre it was, compare the president’s speech announcing a new air campaign in Iraq and Syria to Dwight Eisenhower’s 1958 statement on his decision to intervene in Lebanon with 14,000—14,000!—troops. The statement contains no chest-thumping about America’s leadership in science and medicine. No pivot to the auto industry and medical research. Eisenhower simply explained what had been done, and why.

Berlin - President Obama´s declaration of war against the terrorist group known as the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria marks a decisive break in the American constitutional tradition. Nothing attempted by his predecessor, George W. Bush, remotely compares in imperial hubris. Mr. Bush gained explicit congressional consent for his invasions (Snip) Mr. Obama may rightly be frustrated by gridlock in Washington, but his assault on the rule of law is a devastating setback for our constitutional order. His refusal even to ask the Justice Department to provide a formal legal pretext for the war on ISIS is astonishing.

Rarely has a president faced a greater challenge in establishing his credibility for a new foreign-policy move than Barack Obama did in his nationally televised speech tonight. A CNN poll earlier this week found that just 30 percent of voters thought Obama had presented a clear plan for fighting the Islamic State. While Obama now pledges to ask Congress to train and aid Syrian rebels who would fight the group, voters remember that he backed similar plans in Syria in 2013, when his advisers saw Syrian president Bashar Assad as the major threat. President Obama just announced that he is bringing a counter-terrorism strategy to an insurgency fight. He was at pains to repeat the phrase “counter-terror” four times in a short speech. Noting that ISIL is not a state (partly because the international community thankfully does not recognize it), he declared, “ISIL is a terrorist organization, pure and simple. And it has no vision other than the slaughter of all who stand in its way.” Neither of those sentences, unfortunately, is true. Throughout his presidency, President Obama has emphasized one point while talking about Islamist extremists: They are not practicing Islam, he has said, they are perverting it. He took that a step further Wednesday night. While announcing that he´s expanding the campaign against the Islamic State extremist group into Syria, Obama said flatly that this group, which is trying to install a caliphate in the Middle East, "is not Islamic."
