A confident and clueless president
Washington Times, by David Keene

Original Article

President Obama returned from his full-time job as the Democratic Party’s fundraiser-in-chief to host today’s U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit. As he winged his way back to Washington from Kansas City aboard Air Force One, the president sat for an interview with editors of The Economist. The interview was pure Barack Obama, and it revealed him for what he is — an intellectually agile partisan fantasist. According to Mr. Obama, there really haven’t been that many problems, but those we may be experiencing are the fault not of his policies or leadership, but of the fact that he continues to have to contend

Obama is worried about Zimbabwe´s immigration policies but not the US policies?

What a complete and utter loser.

What I just read obama believes is just the exact opposite of what I believe and is going on in the country. No mention of the labor participation rate being the lowest ever, the millions who have given up on looking for work, the low wage job growth, the invasion of our southern border. The economy stinks except for the energy sector which obama has done everything he can to stop it. Our President is delusional. The sad thing is how many lo-fo voters and liberals actually agree with the nonsense obama told the Economist.

POTUS is very, very concerned with the business opportunities of Africa and other countries where he isn´t responsible for them. Classic Obama: Avoid responsibility for bad decisions by making sure he cannot be held to account.

And then there is his idea of "free market": Free market economy is that situation where the government tells businesses what they are free to do or not do.

Then POTUS unfathomably proclaims that there is no metric by which our economy cannot be proclaimed as having improved since he came into office.

He is called a "fantasist." That is being kind and frivolous. The behavior and comments he exhibits are more in line not with fantasy but with pathology.

Good article.

If the MSM did their jobs and called Obama out on his fantasies, he would be exposed as the delusional, crackhead nerd that he is. Instead, they agree with him totally and propagate the lies every chance they get. No wonder the lofos think he´s a real president. They hear it on TV.

The point will come when the world starts toppling all around him and people will have to choose between him and their lying eyes.

He is the CIC of America - the Crook in Charge. With Alinsky handbook for anarchy under his arm, he is waging war against America, and most have no clue.

As long as the GOP gives him a free ride - we are toast. We have to hope the elections in Nov will wake the sleeping giant that once was great.

Meanwhile, Kerry the menace and the cast of 1000´s wreck havoc on America. Please Pray for America.

Fantasist! Jules Verne was a fantasist. How about: docrinaire Marxo-Fascist? Virulent, white-hating racist? Irreparably brain-damaged, wreckless fool? Tongue-tied yet bloviating thug? FTA: He even has a little praise for those otherwise black-hatted business types who keep harping about being overregulated and taxed: They are with him on immigration reform because they need new workers. Need new workers!? What about the tens of millions already here but unemployed?

He´s like a kid being sexually abused who transports himself to another world during the abuse to survive the horror, except in this case it is the nation that is being raped and WTP have nowhere to go.

"Delusional" is probably more accurate than "fantasist." Obama´s mind is fixated on two ideas that keep contrary evidence at bay: America must be weakened in the eyes of the world; individual actions must be regulated (controlled) by big government.

1.11.4 million Americans who were working when George Bush was President are too discouraged to look.
2.The real unemployment rate that includes these ´invisibles´ crept up from 23.0% to 23.2% year over year.
3. Record numbers are on disability and food stamps. One American in three receives public assistance.
4. Median family net worth dropped a whopping 34%.
5. Average family income is down $2500/year.
6. World´s greatest health care system is going down the tubes with 36 of the 50 states refusing to participate.
7. Years of costly patient security gains in Iraq and Afghanistan are being callously thrown away.
8. A never ending series of unforced errors Egypt, Libya, Syria, Iran, Ukraine has made a hash of foreign policy.
9. Borders and sovereignty are dissolving like a lump of mud in the Rio Grande.

I have never encountered anyone who is able to lie with such impunity. Obama lives in his own fantasy world where reality does not exist. Whatever he believes is reality. The problem we as citizens have is that this man is the President of the United States and with that, comes power. The opposition party does not understand how to deal with someone like him. They are afraid to confront him for fear of the media, and those who do challenge Obama are called extreme.

Obama needs to be challenged to prove what he says. Letting his statements stand without challenge is enabling him to continue to lie to the American people. The press corps sickens me. The have hounded every President I can remember but treat Obama with kid gloves. It is a disgrace and is enabling Obama to do great harm to this country.

When Clinton was being interrogated in his impeachment, it seemed like an interview in the psycho ward. Now, along comes Obama who one-ups him. This sad sack is showing the world he can get away with saying any nonsense he wants because there is not enough honest media or powerful enough public watchdogs willing to hold him accountable. It is not just a cynical ploy on his part. It reveals his narcissistic sickness as terribly severe while he indulges himself in a self-created delusional world. He is one sick puppy. Having a mentally ill president whose objectives are exceptionally dangerous is all the more frightening because so far there is no organized effort to remove him from office. What he has to say is beyond laughable, it is revoltingly sick. Problems do not just sort themselves out. Sadly, the situation continues to deteriorate. Waiting for a better day or better circumstances is dereliction of duty. It is avoidance.

Never forget that the (D) after his name is for Delusional.

Obama´s mention of Zimbabwe is telling, for its racist and corrupt tyrant, President for Life Robert Mugabe, is surely Obama´s inspiration. Mugabe turned the bread basket of Africa into an economic basket case by brutally seizing the farms of over 4,000 white famers and redistributing (Obama´s 2nd most favorite word after "folks") the land to his ruling elite. Last week Mugabe declared that his fellow black elitists should stop leasing their farmlands back to the remaining white farmers, preferring that the land still being farmed go dormant. If Zimbabwe has an immigration problem, it is the flight of white farmers and its black professionals to other countries, a problem that the delusional Obama will never understand,

I wish it was his own little delusional world. Remember over half of the country voted (those who showed up) for him twice! I believe we have a large segment of our society who genuinely believe their hard working ethical generous constitutionally based fellow citizens are rotten to the core. Look at Lois Lerner´s comments, they believe this rubbish. They are raised in isolation and protected from reality by the very people they hate. Those people, represent harsh realities they´d just as soon deny. Can´t hate the reality you can´t admit exists, so you hate the people who accept it and fail to exist in your fantasy world.

As Rinktum pointed out, the way the press protects this man-boy is disgusting. I made the mistake of watching a segment on Fox News this morning with Bill Hemmer interviewing Bob Beckel and Rick Lowry about O´Reilly´s editorial last night about how Obama is out of touch and our domestic and foreign policy is suffering because of it. Beckel said that no one could have prevented what is happening in the Middle east because of centuries old divisions between the Sunnis and Shiites. But wait a minute Bob - wasn´t it your precious One who made his first foreign policy speech overseas in Cairo saying that because he was exposed to Islam and wasn´t white that he would be much better for the Muslim world? Remember that Bob?

Almost as bad as the MSM is how Obama´s defenders just out and out lie to protect him when they aren;t whining about mean old white people picking on him (Juan Willaims).

I sometimes wonder if Obama believes he will see it through to the end of his term. After all, he is at the point of the spear.

Domestically, he has implemented and nurtured the seeds planted by the Hart-Cellar Act in 1965 (albeit in an illegal way). An Act that was destined to change the racial demographics of America forever. Right now it is in overdrive.

In his mind, he will have a statue on every corner in America II after the reboot. That may be all that counts.

Who knows? I can´t make sense of anything. These are crazy times.

When we read fables about such characters as the Pied Piper or the Emperor With No Clothes, we view them as fantasy or only partially plausible metaphors. Certainly, we think, it would be impossible for such absurdity to occur in real life.

But here we have absurdity come to life. How exactly is it possible that so many otherwise rational humans could continue to believe such delusional BS? And worse, continue to allow such a person to remain in office making unchallenged decisions about all our lives?

Actually, that´s not a rhetorical question. There is an answer, and it´s an important one.

The reason is that this Pied Piper is black. Yes, the reason no serious effort will be made to remove or constrain him is that this country has been conditioned for decades to affirmatively accept that black people must NOT be held to the same standards as all other people, and that even attempting to do so is racist.

Would a white President who became this delusional be treated differently? Of course he would. Until and unless this country treats black people exactly the same as all other people, this insanity will continue.

And yes, I fully expect that some people will label me a racist for saying so (i.e., for saying everyone should be treated equally).

Keep hearing sound bites how Africa has a fast growing middle class on par with the United States. Really? Where do they get this stuff. Unbelievable, just like so many things concerning the Obama gang. Perhaps the Obama gang and the left believes the American middle class should be on par with Africa.

Have to wonder if Obama is going to increase immigration from Africa to keep the blacks happy since he is letting in all the hispanics. Identity politics at its best. It would mean more Democratic voters.

I have given up even thinking about anything that would stop Obama from ruining this country. I think it is too late and I don´t think that anything the Republicans can or should do will make any difference. There are too many people in this country that are beholding to Obama now for their food stamps, welfare, free phones, free hospital treatment and on and on. We are a nation that is no more. It will not be long before there is no way to pay for all this and there will be a revolution and fighting over the food that we can get. It is coming. Actually, I think it has already started with all the robberies and break ins of people´s houses. There is NO hope. It is too far to wait for an election that probably will be too late.

The rule is always to first do no damage. If, however, there is such a thing as being too cautious, her inevitableness Hillary Clinton may be flirting with that condition as her long march to the Democratic nomination continues. The unease over Clinton’s candidacy on the left continues to grow, and it is a phenomenon which has become inescapably obvious to those following the nascent presidential race. While polls suggest that Clinton remains the prohibitive favorite to become the next Democratic presidential standard-bearer, those political reporters who tout top lines without noting the left’s unabashed dissatisfaction with Clinton are flirting with

AUSTIN — Greg Abbott’s campaign launched a new attack on Democratic rival Wendy Davis’ ethics Thursday, saying she voted on legislation as a state senator that personally benefited her business. A new 30-second TV ad airing statewide marks a political escalation by the Abbott campaign, which has largely ignored Davis in its TV ad campaign and instead focused on the Republican attorney general’s platform and personal story. Supporters of the Obama administration like to create the impression that there is no viable alternative to the Affordable Care Act — i.e., Obamacare. But that is demonstrably not true. Republican senators Richard Burr, Tom Coburn, and Orrin Hatch introduced a plan earlier this year that would cover just as many people with insurance as Obamacare at a fraction of the cost. Now we have confirmation, in the form of a new cost estimate, that a similarly constructed but slightly different proposal would also cost less, while covering nearly the same number of people. The plan, developed and promoted by the 2017

he New York Times on Wednesday carried a provocative front-page dispatch from Kentucky by Abby Goodnough, who’s been doing a superb job of covering the impact of the Affordable Care Act in the Bluegrass State as a window into the law’s import nationally. The piece captures the political dynamic in Kentucky, where Obamacare has slashed the rate of the uninsured from 20.4 percent to 11.9 percent, the second largest drop after Arkansas, but where this success is seemingly not redounding to the benefit of Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes, who is now lagging in the polls against Mitch McConnell.

Devastating. That´s really the only way to describe Politico´s piece on DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz. (I hereby nominate her for Worst Week in Washington.) (Editor´s note: Three words -- Joseph. Robinette. Biden.) Based on interviews with DNC staffers -- both former and current -- the piece described Wasserman Schultz as something of a modern-day Tracy Flick: over-eager, disloyal and not shy about promoting her ambitions. It would be fair to say that she sounds like, well, a lot like other politicians. And this would be accurate. But the wholesale bashing of Wasserman Schultz at every level of the party -- White House,

Now is the time when we juxtapose, Small Dead Animals-style: I have been in the White House on a number of occasions when military operations are launched and once the decisions are made and the orders have been issued the people in the White House from the President on down are really out of the action, at least is they are smart. And President Bush was especially good as was President Reagan of giving the military their mission, their orders and staying the hell out of the way. And not trying to micro-manage the conflicts, so you don’t have a Lyndon

It is becoming increasingly clear that almost no one in the press believes that the nearly 1,700 American service men and women currently in Iraq (a number even The New York Times believes will balloon in short order) will not encounter armed resistance. On Thursday, when White House Press Sec. Josh Earnest was asked how Americans who are asked to serve in what Gen. Martin Dempsey called a “combat advisory role” alongside indigenous forces would react if they were fired upon, Earnest replied with the obvious (via The Washington Times): President Obama expects U.S. troops to return fire if Islamic State militants

First Lady Michelle Obama proudly defended her husband’s record at a Washington, D.C. fundraiser, reminding the attendants how far the country had come since the Obamas entered the White House. “Just think about how different our country looks to children growing up today,” she said. “Think about how our kids take for granted that a black person or a woman can be President of the United States.” She also praised President Obama for changing history on gay marriage and the Supreme Court. “They take it for granted that for the first time in history, there are three brilliant women serving

First Lady Michelle Obama visited sick children at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, where she complained about living at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and being married to the president of the United States. She made the comments in response to being asked about her "favorite part about being in the White House." "About being in the -- about being First Lady is being able to do stuff like this, really. Flashes of disagreement over how to fight the Islamic State are mounting between President Obama and U.S. military leaders, the latest sign of strain in what often has been an awkward and uneasy relationship. Even as the administration has received congressional backing for its strategy, with the Senate voting Thursday to approve a plan to arm and train Syrian rebels, a series of military leaders have criticized the president’s approach against the Islamic State militant group. Retired Marine Gen. James Mattis, who served under Obama until last year, became the latest high-profile skeptic on Thursday, telling the House Intelligence Committee

Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, one of the masterminds behind Obamacare, has now explained that he wishes to die at age 75. In an article in The Atlantic, Emanuel writes, “Seventy-five. That’s how long I want to live: 75 years.” He explains that his daughters disagree; so do his brothers and his friends. But, he says, “I am sure of my position…here is a simple truth that many of us seem to resist: living too long is also a loss. It renders many of us, if not disabled, then faltering and declining, a state that may not be worse than death but

Congress is living in an "evidence-free zone" as it debates issues of equal pay and family-friendly work policies, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Thursday. "Unfortunately, reality is not always the context in which these decisions are made. The Congress increasingly -- despite the best efforts of my friends and others -- is living in an evidence-free zone," she said during a roundtable discussion at the Center for American Progress focused on women´s issues. "What the reality is, in the lives of Americans is so far from the minds of too many who don´t place the highest priority" on

The anti-war president has finally found a way to wag the dog without upsetting his liberal base and war-weary electorate. Despite the beheading of two Americans, establishment of an Islamic caliphate, direct threats to the U.S. homeland, and the destabilization of the entire Middle East, Obama refuses to acknowledge that we are at war with barbaric Islamic jihadists. And he refuses to authorize the requisite boots on the ground. However, Obama just discovered his pre-midterm election method of wagging the dog -- distracting from his incompetent and dangerous response (or lack thereof) to the real threats to America’s national security

The U.S Senate passed a bill Thursday evening that will give President Barack Obama the authority to arm moderate Syrian rebels, which is a key part of his plan to fight the jihadist group Islamic State (also known as ISIS and ISIL). Shortly after the Senate passed the bill, which was passed by the House on Wednesday, Obama spoke from the White House. "I´m pleased that Congress, a majority of Democrats and a majority of Republicans in both the House and Senate, have now voted to support a key element of our strategy," Obama said. On Thursday In a session with the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, Secretary of State John Kerry was asked by Rep. Joe Wilson (R-SC) whether America was at war in Iraq and Syria. (Video) Kerry responded: “If you’re more comfortable calling it a war against this enemy of Islam then please do so. We’re happy to call it that.” So its official: America is at war with the enemy of Islam. However, strange bedfellows arise if the Obama administration so chooses to uphold Kerry’s claim that we are at war with the enemy(s) of Islam. The following displays that Secretary

Someone forwarded this article to me, “Why Are Republicans Suddenly Leaning Left?” The article cites numerous examples of the GOP obviously believing it must embrace at least lukewarm Liberalism while backing away from Conservatism to win elections. The article mentioned that Mitt Romney avoided saying “Republican” in an ad supporting Scott Brown’s Senate run. Romney said in the ad referring to Brown, “will buck his own party to do what’s right for New Hampshire.” Romney’s statement implies that Conservatism can be mean, but rest assured that Brown will push

A man who’s a better speechwriter than his speechwriters, a better political director than his political directors, and who knows more about policy than his policy advisors must surely also be a better general than his generals, no? The U.S. military campaign against Islamist militants in Syria is being designed to allow President Barack Obama to exert a high degree of personal control, going so far as to require that the military obtain presidential signoff for strikes in Syrian territory, officials said. The requirements for strikes in Syria against the extremist group Islamic State will be far more stringent than those targeting
