5 Pieces Of Evidence
That The "War On Women"
Is Over And Women Won

Townhall, by John Hawkins

Original Article

Posted By:geo11, 8/5/2014 2:55:46 AM

As the late, great Eric Hoffer once said, "Every great cause begins as a movement, becomes a business, and eventually degenerates into a racket." So it is with feminism. There was a time in America when women couldn´t vote, when they weren´t allowed to work in the same professions as men and when they weren´t really considered the equal of a man. Feminism grew in response to that and even many men embraced it because they saw the inherent unfairness of society.

Comments:
The "War on Women" will continue as long as those that promote it continue to profit.

Outstanding article in every way. May I nominate for a Must Read? We conservative women need to start standing up for men.

Women used to be respected and used to dress modestly and respectably, but today, I am disgusted with how most women dress to be honest. That´s not the case today. And it is disgusting. The women I see today wear their clothing way too tight.......which makes they look available.....it´s embarrassing. They don´t respect themselves any more......it´s all about looking cool going along with what anyone says is popular. It is as if they are stupid because they fall for this stuff and go along with the crowd instead of being an independent thinker. Women today look like loose street walkers anymore.

They don´t just look like street walkers, they act like them too. Because feminism has taught them that they can do whatever a man can do, including sleeping around with no consequences. Hence over 4,000 abortions performed every day in America.

As to men being burned in custody and divorce hearings, what happens now that we have to accept same sex marriage? Which man gets to be the mother and accuse the other man of abuse or bad parenting?
Same for lesbians - which one is the evil father? I hope the leftist judges, especially the female ones, are enjoying what they have wrought.

America is suddenly angry at the laxity, incompetence, and polarizing politics of the Obama administration, the bad optics of the president putting about in his bright golf clothes while the world burns. Certainly, no recent president has failed on so many fronts — honesty, transparency, truthfulness, the economy, foreign policy, the duties of the commander-in-chief, executive responsibilities, and spiritual leadership. For those who are “shocked” at the present meltdown, of a magnitude not seen since the annus horribilis of 1979, in their defense: Obama certainly did not campaign on a new health-care plan that would force Americans to give up the

How Best Not to Respond to ISIS

For the left, American power must never be exercised except in the direst of situations, and even then, it must not be a unilateral exercise of power. This is the logic underlying the White House response to ISIS, or the Islamic State, as it calls itself. At this time, the U.S. military has the capacity to obliterate this gang of thugs with a relatively modest projection of force. If the administration continues to drag its feet, it will be much harder. Yet Obama continues to drag his feet, because he believes that America “leads from behind.”

Challenging times call for extraordinary courage. But at the risk of sounding indelicate, the only cojones associated with President Obama are the ones lined up on the putting green, where his frequent appearances have given rise to a new meaning of the term “stay the course.” You’d think the so-called leader of the free world would at least sound courageous. But at recent press conferences, Mr. President has sauntered in, often late, leaned nonchalantly on the podium, and delivered a lackluster “lecture” in a tone of voice more peremptory than somber. His record for ambiguity and dullness reached a nadir of

August 22 is another deadline for the Obama administration’s IRS officials to come clean about their clear malfeasance in office. Judge Emmet Sullivan, who has acted sua sponte to compel IRS officials to provide all the details surrounding the “lost” e-mails, has the reputation of a judicial pit bull, a federal judge who insists that his orders and his office be treated with proper respect. Placing himself directly in the middle of this scandal, Judge Sullivan has removed the favored riposte by the left: attack the questioner. Sullivan is a black jurist from Howard University, perhaps the most respected black university

A brutal natural experiment is underway demonstrating the role of race, riots, and radicals in determining whose death is noted, and whose ignored in racialized America when unarmed young men are shot and killed by police. While American and world media, along with the President and Attorney General of the United States, obsess over the death of Michael Brown at the hands of the Ferguson, Missouri police, few people outside of Utah have heard of the remarkably parallel and contemporaneous death of Dillon Taylor, an unarmed young man (and father-to-be) from a gun shot by a Salt Lake City policeman,

Spreading from front page to two-thirds of an inside page, the New York Times, in its Aug. 18 edition, goes all out to document the miseries of life in Gaza. Jerusalem bureau chief Jodi Rudoren, reporting from Gaza City, informs readers that “telltale signs of the displaced are everywhere in Gaza”. I´m amazed at how openly racist black Liberals have become, and how few non-blacks are willing to call them out on it. I was waiting to be interviewed on CNN the other night, and I was listening in advance of my appearance to an interview of a Missouri legislator said to Don Lemmon, [pp] "The way for Ferguson Missouri to improve public relations is to have more black cops." Can you imagine the reaction if a city asked for more white cops? This call for "blackness" as an answer to what´s plaguing the black community is happening a lot, and quite frankly is

Officials with the Obama administration held nothing back when speaking about the current halt on the shipment of missiles to Israel. The Wall Street Journal reports that in the war between Israel and Hamas, US officials stated that “Mr. Netanyahu and his national security team are both reckless and untrustworthy’.” What an absolutely perfect description of Obama. I’m going to add it to the growing list of adjectives reserved just for him.

I guess it´s easy to be moral when morality is defined as whatever you need at that moment. Still, it’s annoying to listen to people with such a weird, unearned sense of their own moral superiority. In truth, they are utterly morally illiterate. These are folks who draw parallels between Hamas and Israel when the only parallel between the Israelis and the jihadist degenerates is that they share the habit of breathing oxygen. He’s baaaaack, like a bad penny. Yes, Barry Soetoro, also known as Barack Obama, has returned yet again to the state he calls “Massa-tu-setts,” in the bosom of the Beautiful People, Martha’s Vineyard. The Vineyard is the dream destination of every carbon footprint-obsessed Democrat billionaire with his own private jet — an island, four miles out into the ocean, far, far removed from the foul breath of the plebeians. Martha’s Vineyard — the ultimate gated community. Every imaginable amenity is at Obama’s beck and call, except one. There are no “DREAMERS” on Martha’s Vineyard. One reason predictions of a Mitt Romney victory in 2012 were inaccurate, say analysts, is that the turnout among certain Democrat constituencies — in particular blacks and Hispanics -- was greater than expected. And what a significant factor this is! Whether we call it getting out the vote, having a great “ground game” or just turnout, it can make or break an election. But while the phrase “getting out the vote” is well understood, there is a lesser known election strategy: getting in the vote. What’s the difference? While the former involves getting as many as possible of the set number

When the history books are written, they will credit Barack Obama for making Richard Nixon look like Moses. Forty years ago this evening, in a televised address to the nation, Nixon told the American people that, effective noon the next day, “I shall resign the presidency.” Since then the man’s failings have been exhaustively chronicled, and on this sorry anniversary they’ve once again been dragged out

Qua speech, Barack Obama’s address Wednesday on the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria was surprisingly terrible: a disorganized mess, insincere and unconvincing. To appreciate just how bad and bizarre it was, compare the president’s speech announcing a new air campaign in Iraq and Syria to Dwight Eisenhower’s 1958 statement on his decision to intervene in Lebanon with 14,000—14,000!—troops. The statement contains no chest-thumping about America’s leadership in science and medicine. No pivot to the auto industry and medical research. Eisenhower simply explained what had been done, and why.

Berlin - President Obama´s declaration of war against the terrorist group known as the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria marks a decisive break in the American constitutional tradition. Nothing attempted by his predecessor, George W. Bush, remotely compares in imperial hubris. Mr. Bush gained explicit congressional consent for his invasions (Snip) Mr. Obama may rightly be frustrated by gridlock in Washington, but his assault on the rule of law is a devastating setback for our constitutional order. His refusal even to ask the Justice Department to provide a formal legal pretext for the war on ISIS is astonishing.

SAN DIEGO — African-American elementary students in California were chronically truant at nearly four times the rate of all students during the last school year, according to a state report released Friday. The report by the California Attorney General´s office is the first time the data has been broken down according to race and income levels. Officials say such data is needed to address the problem. Poverty and suspensions are contributing factors. Overall, more than 250,000 elementary school students missed 10 percent or more of the 2013-2014 school year or roughly 18 or more school days. Throughout his presidency, President Obama has emphasized one point while talking about Islamist extremists: They are not practicing Islam, he has said, they are perverting it. He took that a step further Wednesday night. While announcing that he´s expanding the campaign against the Islamic State extremist group into Syria, Obama said flatly that this group, which is trying to install a caliphate in the Middle East, "is not Islamic." He didn´t say they are perverting their religion; he said they´re not even part of that religion. Check your hygiene privilege. Cabbies who smell badly are probably just oppressed folks who came directly from their terrorist training camp to the airport and didn’t have time to change. Body odour is among 52 criteria that officials at San Diego International Airport use to judge taxi drivers. Cabbies say that smacks of prejudice and discrimination. It does discriminate between cabbies who smell like an open sewer and those who don’t. It further prejudges what a good smell is.
