Welcome to Obama’s America. Come for the welfare. Stay for the outbreak. At least 71 individuals from the three nations affected by the current Ebola outbreak have either turned themselves in or been caught attempting to illegally enter the U.S. by U.S. authorities between January 2014 and July 2014. But that’s not all… As of July 20, 2014, 1,443 individuals from China were caught sneaking across the porous U.S. border this year alone, with another 1,803 individuals either turning themselves in to U.S. authorities at official ports of entry, or being caught attempting to illegally enter at the ports of entry. It is a joke to believe that the US Government today would have the will to keep foreigners from entering the USA from Africa because they might be carrying the Ebola virus. Why that would be discrimination, and America can no longer do that no matter the consequences.

Marine Corps veterans tired of seeing fellow Marine Andrew Tahmooressi stuck in Mexican prison are traveling nearly 300 miles by foot to Washington, D.C., to tell President Obama to do whatever he has to do to get Mexico “to turn our Marine loose.” Marine Corps veteran Terry Sharpe is 63 years old and began walking the 287 miles from his home in Summerfield, North Carolina, to Washington, D.C., two weeks ago to raise awareness about Tahmooressi, who has been in a Mexican prison since March. “I just got tired of nothing being done,” Sharpe told the Washington Free Beacon on

Congressman Trey Gowdy (R., S.C.) delivered a powerful opening statement at the outset of the House Select Committee hearing on Benghazi. Gowdy, who has accused the Obama administration of engaging in a “systematic effort” to hide documents relating to the September 11, 2012, terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya, dismissed attempts by Democrats to portray the Select Committee as a politically-motivated witch hunt aimed at tarnishing the record of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton: To those who believe it is time to move on, to those who believe that there is nothing left to discover, that all the questions have

PHOENIX — Video footage of Jodi Arias' Sept. 29 penalty phase retrial should be allowed to be broadcast 30 minutes after the end of each day's proceedings to afford the public their constitutional right to witness criminal trials, a media lawyer argued Monday. Arias was convicted of murder last year in the 2008 killing of her ex-boyfriend at his suburban Phoenix home, but jurors couldn't decide on her sentence. The retrial will determine if she gets the death penalty or life in prison. Arias' first trial was broadcast live, but Judge Sherry Stephens denied that right this time around, ruling that no footage could be broadcast until after the verdict.

Democrats’ Push to Criminalize Dissent

Dissent is the highest form of patriotism. Dissent is the lowest form of crime. If you are a drone in the hive of the Left, it is possible — easy, in fact — to believe both of those things at the same time. Free speech just won an important victory in a federal courtroom, though it is shameful that the case ever even had to go to court. Ohio had enacted a plainly unconstitutional law that empowered a government panel to determine whether criticisms offered in political advertisements were sufficiently true to be permitted in the public discourse. Our story comes to us from New York’s 21st congressional district, also locally known as “the North country” for its rural, mountainous nature. Many long time election fans will better remember it as it was known before the last census redistricting when it was NY-23 and the site of the 2009 special election debacle featuring Dede Scozzafava. But the court rejected the panel´s recommendation that he be suspended with pay until his term expires at the end of 2014, and instead ordered his immediate removal from the bench.

An aircraft chartered by coalition forces in Afghanistan, en route from Bagram air base to Dubai, landed Friday in Bandar Abbas, Iran, after Iranian officials questioned its flight plan, U.S. officials said. The plane had been contacted by Iranian air traffic controllers, who instructed it to return to Afghanistan and file the correct plan. When the pilots informed the Iranians they did not have enough fuel to return to Bagram, they were asked to land. One official said Iranian fighter jets had escorted the plane, which was carrying approximately 100 Americans and possibly a pair of Canadians, to the ground.

An internal training guide used by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs compared veterans unhappy about their care to Oscar the Grouch, a newspaper reported. The Philadelphia Inquirer obtained a VA training slide show with tips for employees on how to help veterans with their claims. It was shown to VA employees staffing town-hall events with veterans in Philadelphia. About a dozen slides included pictures of the grumpy "Sesame Street" character who lives in a trash can. The slide show said that veterans might be demanding and unrealistic, and advised staffers on "what to say to Oscar the Grouch."
