Protest planned at ABQ Hobby Lobby
KRQE.com, by Elizabeth Alvarez

Original Article

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Demonstrators say they’re planning another protest at an Albuquerque Hobby Lobby. They’re protesting a U.S. Supreme Court decision made last month. The court says Hobby Lobby does not have to provide birth control coverage to employees. That’s because it violates the religious beliefs of the family who owns the privately-held company. The rally is set to take place at the store on Wyoming this evening from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday.

Comments:
Short article that succinctly and obviously unintentionally highlights liberal idiocy. The don´t know the difference between abortifacients and birth control.

Plus, they don´t understand the ruling. It didn´t say Hobby Lobby didn´t have to provide birth control; it said they didn´t have to provide the morning-after pill. Hobby Lobby insurance pays for 16 different birth control pills.

These local TV idiots don´t understand anything and get most of their news from the Kos Kids. Our local news people are always a couple of days behind the national news and usually get it wrong, too.

These folks have a constitutional right to peacefully protest although they should be protesting in front of the US Supreme Court or in front of Hobby Lobby´s headquarters, not an individual store that has no decision-making role.

In the same vein, the owners of Hobby Lobby have a constitutional right to petition the courts and oh, by the way, they won their legal case. The protesters do not appear to respect the rights of Hobby Lobby owners.

Perhaps the organizers would like to share their names and addresses so that supporters of Hobby Lobby could have the opportunity to exercise their constitutional right to peacefully protest their actions.

The reporter, Elizabeth Alvarez, is intentionally misinforming her readers, as evidenced in: The court says Hobby Lobby does not have to provide birth control coverage to employees.

The Supreme Court never ruled in this manner, and it is clear that Alvarez gets her material from left wing sources rather than bothering to read the ruling and real news reports. The traditional reporter once used the who, what, when, where and why approach. For the Alvarezs of today, it´s "Are you sure I can attach my byline to a WH press release""

Just keep beating that dead horse, ladies....while the more than willing liberal media twists the truth. It´s not banning birth control, it doesn´t force them to pay for an abortion pill. Go buy your own abortion pill or work somewhere else!

The store is a commercial property open for sales of merchandise, not a political meeting place. To have such a gathering anywhere else, they would have to rent the space. So arrest them, or make them go rent a meeting place.

Oh, Elizabeth, you ignorant slut (bless your heart). No, SCOTUS did not say HL didn´t have to provide birth control...in fact, HL offers something like 25-30 forms of birth control. What SCOTUS said was they didn´t have to provide abortifacient birth control because that goes against their religious beliefs.

FARMINGTON — Four regional sheriffs associations and the National Sheriffs´ Association expressed opposition to "outright amnesty" for immigrants who enter the country illegally in a statement drafted earlier this month in Santa Fe. The associations also requested additional federal funding for new detainment centers and programs dedicated to identifying and removing felons who have entered the country illegally, and legislation that would require interagency cooperation and information sharing. "Current border security measures have little effect on the smuggling and trafficking of humans, contraband, and illegal drugs moving across our borders, forcing local law enforcement to prepare for and respond to

BLOOMFIELD — City councilors unanimously voted on Wednesday to appeal a federal judge´s ruling stating a monument at City Hall inscribed with the Ten Commandments is unconstitutional. In June, in a sparsely populated county in northern New Mexico, a primary election surprisingly unseated an incumbent County Commissioner. No one seemed to notice. But, apparently, high-ranking Democrats to the north were paying attention. The northern New Mexico county is Mora. The high-ranking Democrats: from Colorado. The election upset was about Mora County´s oil-and-gas drilling ban. In April 2013, the Mora County Commission voted, 2 to 1, and passed the first-in-the-nation county-wide ban on all oil-and-gas drilling. It was spearheaded by Commission Chairman John Olivas—an environmental activist. Since then, two lawsuits have been filed against the little county because

Ruth, who was 19 and, according to one teammate, looked like a "big overgrown pea" at the start of the game, went on to play for 22 years, 15 of those with the

Some troubling realities have been revealed in a recent Bloomberg article. First, the idea that the hospitals, at government direction, are doing it for our own good so it’s okay. My story about the president talking to the black caucus about white people inflicting constant racial injustice on black people came in at 1500 words. I was just getting warmed up. The quintessential question of Watergate was “what did the President know and when did he know it?” Obamagate, the vast scandal that encompasses an entire presidency, offers a preemptive answer. Obama didn’t know anything and he never knew it. At least not until, like smuggling weapons to druglords, bugging journalists, IRSing his political enemies and killing vets, his right hand found out about what his left hand was doing from the morning paper. After skipping 58% of his daily intelligence briefings in Term 1 and 59% of them in Term 2, he went on 60 Minutes and blamed intelligence agencies for being

Kansas Tea Party supporters are threatening to sit out the state’s pivotal Senate election, potentially dealing another blow to the reelection hopes of Sen. Pat Roberts (R-Kan.). President Obama this week committed professional suicide. Let me explain. There is a theory in politics that once a leader has fired 50 or more people from his or her administration, he or she is finished. The reason being that by creating so many enemies ‘outside the tent’, the tent itself becomes too deluged with poisonous bile to avoid sinking into a quagmire of back-stabbing ignominy. Obama went a lot further than firing 50 people. He managed to single-handedly alienate 200,000 employees in the American intelligence agencies by going on 60 Minutes and ruthlessly chucking them all under a bus

Count House Speaker John Boehner as a fan of Jeb Bush for president. He also hasn´t spoken to Texas GOP Sen. Ted Cruz in two years. The driving issue of the 2016 election will be “competence,” and if former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush runs, “he’s got a real shot” at winning, the Ohio Republican told the Cincinnati Enquirer on Tuesday. Boehner applauded Bush’s ability to “talk about Republican issues better than most anybody that we’ve got out there,” approving of his “real record of reform” as Florida’s governor from 1999 to 2007. He also called potential candidates Ohio Gov. John

HOUSTON, Texas -- Former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay was found not guilty today by the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. This is the highest appellate court in Texas for criminal cases and thus brings DeLay’s political persecution to an end. The court upheld the ruling last year from the Texas 3rd Court of Appeals. That decision tossed out the convictions on money laundering and conspiracy charges. At that time Justice Melissa Goodwin wrote “The fundamental problem with the state´s case was its failure to prove proceeds of criminal activity,” according to a September 19th report on Breitbart News.

A presidential defeat isn’t an easy thing to bounce back from. And Mitt Romney did it twice. So it was understandable that after he lost the presidential race in 2012, he was adamant about closing the door to the possibility of a third campaign. But recently, speculation is whirling that Romney may not be so adamant anymore. When asked if he was running in a New York Times interview published earlier this week, Romney said : “I have nothing to add to the story. We’ve got a lot of people looking at the race,” he said. “We’ll see what happens.” That response, which
