Barack Obama to reporters:
´I´ll take a question´

Politico, by Edward-Isaac Dovere *

President Barack Obama had just done the unthinkable. He took questions last week from the White House press corps — not just once, but twice. He didn’t call only on the reporters who were selected ahead of time by his senior aides. He even stuck around longer than he wanted at a briefing Friday to appease the room of shouting correspondents. “Hold on, guys. Come on. You’re not that pent up,” Obama joked. “I’ve been giving you questions lately.” This never used to happen in the Obama White House, a place so obsessed with message control that the president could go

Where were you during the night of Benghazi and what were you doing?
Why did you not send aid to Amb. Stevens?
Why was Amb Stevens in Benghazi meeting with Turkish Consul who left unimpeded before the terrorists attacked and murdered Benghazi Four?
What were you promised to impersonate an American President and by whom?

His "royal highness" allowed the peasant press corps to actually ask a question that had not been previously chosen by him. How very charitable of him to have such compassion on them. This man gives me a serious pain in undisclosed places. He works for the people not the other way around. His salary is paid for by the people he so often disparages. I doubt he will ever understand how he misuses his office and how he has wasted the prestige of the office.

1 Because you became an Indonesian citizen to attend school in Indonesia, when and where did you re-claim your USA citizenship? Where is it documented?
2 Why is your SSN from CT?
3 Did you ever attend college or law school as a foreign student?
4 Do you use illegal substances in the WH?
5 Will you be vacationing in Chicago so your vacation money can be used for the illegals?
6 For any deported illegals, will you be providing them with a t-shirt which reads ´I went to the USA and all I got is this t-Shirt?´

NEW YORK— Howard Stern delivered the eulogy, Broadway singer-actress Audra McDonald sang "Smile" and bagpipers played "New York, New York" at Joan Rivers´ funeral Sunday, a star-studded send-off that — like late comedian herself — brought together the worlds of Hollywood, theater, fashion and media. At a funeral befitting a superstar, the New York City Gay Men´s Chorus sang Broadway hits before six-time Tony Award-winner McDonald sang her tribute to Rivers, a champion of theater for decades. Tributes and reminiscences were delivered by TV anchor Deborah Norville, close friend Margie Stern, columnist Cindy Adams and Rivers´ daughter, Melissa. Hugh Jackman

As the Syrian government warplane flew overhead, Malik Abu Iskandaroon ran to a storage room and grabbed a Russian-made surface-to-air missile. Moments later, on the roof of the three-story villa, which serves as air force headquarters for the Harakat Hazm rebel group, he squinted at the threat in the sky. Missile launcher resting on his shoulder, Abu Iskandaroon prepared to fire. But in the end he refrained, as the Sukhoi fighter jet flew by, miles out of range of his older-generation weapon. As he stood by helpless, the plane fired one rocket toward the town, killing four people.

Put this interview in a time capsule and stow it away. Open it in the future, hopefully a future in which the thinking and the analytic will smirk and shake their heads at the nature of this interview and the lame responses from “the President”. Mr. Obama’s train of thought is non sequitar and intrinsically self defeating. He is choosing to postpone the long awaited immigration reform. He explains his proposal makes perfect sense and declares the country is clamoring for an amnesty like solution. Only the House Republicans are against the idea. Republican Mitt Romney took a victory lap Sunday for being proven prescient in his foreign policy comments during the 2012 presidential campaign but reiterated that he won’t stand for election in 2016. President Obama mocked Romney in 2012 for arguing that Russia was among the biggest “geopolitical” foes of the United States and asserting that Islamic radicalism was still on the march. Those comments turned out to be correct in the two years since Romney failed to oust Obama, as the former Massachusetts governor happily pointed during an interview with Chris Wallace on "Fox News Sunday." The revelation set off a new round of investigations and congressional hearings. Immigrant-rights groups reacted furiously Saturday after the White House made clear President Obama will not take unilateral action on immigration before November’s elections, nodding at the political realities of the issue as he punted on the key policy questions. With a number of key Senate races in GOP-leaning states, Democrats had feared that action now would anger voters and cost them control of the upper chamber, and had privately begged the White House to hold off on any move to halt deportations. But immigration activists said it’s the latest in a series of moves by Mr. Obama to shove their
