Helping President Obama
grasp his job numbers

Investor´s Business Daily, by Andrew Malcolm

This summer President Obama has attended a bumper crop of political fundraisers, now more than 400 since taking office. He claims he wants to work with the House Republicans he mocks as "hatin´ on" him. And, of course, Obama boasts of creating new jobs. In his weekly remarks last Saturday Obama has declared something like: "Our economy created over 200,000 new jobs in July.” [Snip]Those new monthly job figures he cites are true, as far as they go. But as usual with this Chicago pol´s declaratory statements, there´s much more hidden than revealed. Obama does not mention that July's unemployment rate ticked up to

Those who give the LEFT scads of money want USA destroyed. They were brainwashed by liberal professors that America is EVIL and the best way to repair the damage is to destroy America and start all over. The problem with this kind of thinking is that they never considered the fact that other nations would take the country and RULE over it. Thus, there is no RESTARTING.....DUH. They never learned from history of Dictator after Dictator destroying and ruling and murdering thousands...now they´ve become exactly like these malevolent dictators they accuse our country´s history of doing.

Here´s today´s math lesson (since those on the left side of the aisle tend to live in the right hemisphere of the brain, I would not expect them to understand this):

Total number of Americans out of work/underemployed according to a recent article on Drudge = 92,001,000.

Total population of the US (rounded) =
318,580,000 (http://www.census.gov/popclock/)

Subtract from that the population who are children = 74,300,000 (http://childstats.gov/AMERICASCHILDREN/tables/pop1.asp)

Gives us 244,280,000.

(92,001,000/244,280,000)(100) = 37.66% of the American population is unemployed/underemployed.

HELLO???!!! Where is the MSM on this? Where is Fox on this?/s

´Fugetaboutit´, I know full well where they are.

The fact that Barack Obama is still fundraising at a record pace nearly two years after his final legal election isn´t surprising. Nor that his people are doing it while the boss traveled abroad dominating TV news through predictable photo-ops with other NATO leaders. All while ISIS continues its appalling slaughter in Iraq and Syria and Russia´s Putin prolongs his armed absorption of Ukraine. After all, no Democrat candidate in their left mind who´s interested in actually competing come Nov. 4 wants to be seen anywhere near this guy. Vice President Joe Biden gives President Obama´s weekly remarks: Ladies and gentlemen, this is Joe Biden, I’m filling in for President Obama, while he addresses the NATO summit in Wales. When the President and I took office in January of 2009, this nation was in the midst of the greatest economic crisis since the great depression. Our economy had plummeted at a rate of 8% in a single quarter — part of the fastest economic decline any time in the last half century. Millions of families were falling underwater on their homes and threatened with foreclosure. The iconic American automobile industry was under siege.

For someone who entered America´s national life as a bright man who was a Real Good Talker, Barack Obama has slid precipitously, not just in the polls but in public perceptions. Of course, he would never admit it; in fact, he would never comprehend it. But this continuing decline is, in large part, his own fault. Like cake, Obama wants his rhetoric and credibility too. People seem to be reading into President Obama´s positions on ISIS pretty much whatever they want to see: He´s wise and deliberate. He´s indecisive. He´s so far-sighted that ordinary Americans may be incapable of grasping his intellect. He´s late, as always, inept and clueless about dangerous issues of grave concern to nationwide. As Americans see countrymen beheaded on graphic videos, Obama and his team consistently seek to minimize spreading foreign violence as regional "challenges."

President Obama gave the most amazing news conference Thursday. He´d hoped to highlight mildly encouraging news on the economy, which he says is Americans´ top priority. But Obama´s current JV communications strategists should have known that was futile, given the winds of war blowing and exploding around the world. Syria, Iraq, Ukraine, ISIS, China all underscoring the perceived weakness and inaction of the American leader who so badly wants his mere words to sway events. Obama says the Muslim extremists, whose barbarism brings a whole new meaning to the word 'extremists," do not belong in the 21st century.

President Obama is enduring an awful summer of domestic troubles, foreign tragedies and a lost national narrative that´s put him on the defensive. He´ll try to recapture control of the country´s political dialogue next month by igniting an emotional controversy over legalizing illegal aliens. But Tuesday the Democrat was in Charlotte to describe to American Legion members an exotic foreign land where November voters should be delighted to keep his party members in office. One of the more useless fall-outs of the Obama Era -- in addition to him fomenting the cancerous distrust of vital national institutions and offices -- is the trumped-up call for national debates and discussions about virtually anything controversial. [Snip] The latest national debate concerns the so-called militarization of local police forces, growing out of the intense media scrutiny of one local department in Ferguson, Missouri. Well, we´re here to make it a debate. It´s a great idea to have state and local police departments armed way beyond the firepower of any conceivable opponent.

President Obama´s weekly remarks Hi, everybody. Nearly six years after the worst financial crisis of our lifetimes, our businesses have added nearly 10 million new jobs over the past 53 months. [Snip] We should be doing everything we can to accelerate this progress, not stall it. One place to start is by supporting something called the U.S. Export-Import Bank. Its sole mission is to create American jobs. That’s it. It helps many American entrepreneurs take that next step and take their small business global. But next month, its charter will expire — unless Members of Congress do their job.

State Department spokesman Jen Psaki makes me psick. If you read P.G. Wodehouse, you know the “P” in her name is silent, as in “phthisis,” “psychic” and “ptarmigan” (as Wodehouse’s Psmith explains). And Psaki’s colleague Marie Harf makes me barf. Together Psaki and Harf give the catastrophic foreign policy of the Obama administration a lighter than air, Valley Girl kind of feel. In a few days president Obama will unveil his strategy to destroy ISIS to a waiting public. (Snip) However the basic outlines of the strategy itself have emerged from information already available to the press. A Los Angeles Times story suggests that Obama will rely on proxies to fight ISIS at three levels: on the ground, within the region and in the West. Kerry invokes comparisons to the Sunni Awakening, seeking to recall the days when al-Qaeda in Iraq was beaten by George Bush. Obama plans to organize the Sunni Arabs to fight ISIS.

The Obama administration will make a decision on executive action to prevent corporations from leaving the country in the "very near future," Treasury Secretary Jack Lew said Monday morning. Speaking at an event on business taxes at the Urban Institute in Washington, Lew placed the responsibility on Congress to address so-called tax inversions, but said that the administration was prepared to step in if lawmakers don´t move quickly enough. Inversions are tax maneuvers in which corporations buy firms in low-tax countries in order to place their headquarters in that country. Such deals have grown in number in recent months, with
