Prince Charles furious at former

marriage in explosive book

Daily Mirror [UK], by Ben Glaze & Matthew Drake

Prince Charles has blasted a former close aide for “betraying” him in an explosive new book. The Queen’s ex-Press Secretary Dickie Arbiter is set to reveal secrets about Charles’ relationship with Diana and the breakdown of two other royal marriages. A palace source said: “Charles is furious. This man was a trusted friend.” For 12 years, Buckingham Palace Press Secretary Arbiter was regarded by Prince Charles as a man he could trust with his deepest secrets. Every inch the tight-lipped loyal aide, Arbiter stood by him during the bitter breakdown of his marriage to Diana and his affair with Camilla

"Friend"?

Charles should have learned early on that the help are not your "friends."

The Royals have moved past these scandals, thanks to William and Kate, and Harry. There is no need to dig all of this back up.

No one really cares anymore. Leave the boys alone. They don´t need to keep having this mother dragged into the headlines.

These are his memoirs, the story of his life. He couldl not very well leave out the negative things that happened during his time of service.

Why are we so protective of Charles? He does not deserve it. And what the heck was he doing with pedophile Savile?

There´s probably a lot that Arbiter DIDN´T put into his book.

Diana was a lovely young woman who gave the Queen and country two fine young sons, one of whom will be king. Her genes are obvious in them, thank God. As a young girl, she married a man who was in love and lust with another woman. And then she was trapped. Maligning her, especially in nasty tones, makes one wonder about the maligner.

Charles´s anger is undoubtedly shared by Camilla. They have strong desires to be king AND queen and this stuff does not enhance their images. They were hoping that by now most had forgotten or the young were too young to have known about their unseemly, very damaging conduct.

Hoping something happens that allows William to be the next monarch.

The "boys" are now grown men. They are very close to their father so I doubt they are any happier than he is about this book. Nobody wants reminders of what a mess Diana and Charles were as a married couple. Adultery all round, no excuse for either of them. Like all celebs, the Royals prefer to craft the image they wish presented to the world. So naturally they all have knickers in a major twist over yet another gossip book.

A group of 20 attorneys from across the country with experience handling sexual assault cases sent a letter on Thursday to the co-sponsors of the Senate’s campus sexual assault bill. The attorneys, who have all represented students accused of sexual assault who are now suing their universities for lack of due process, wrote that while sexual assault needs to be addressed, rights of the accused need to be preserved. “We are concerned that the complexity of the problem and the momentum to find a solution to the manner in which colleges handle these matters will overwhelm any effort to ensure fair treatment

Dear Reader (including those of you under quarantine), Well, this “news”letter usually begins one of two ways: serious or jocular. How about, just for a change of pace, we start off scary and see how that works out? If I were in charge of overseas contingency operations at the Islamic State or al-Qaeda, I would send as many suicide-bomber types back to America (and France and Britain) with a new weapon: Ebola. Airport scanners don’t pick it up. The incubation period is long enough to get the human biological weapons past screeners without detection. I’d tell them: Take as many connections as

Tom and Jerry cartoons on television are being accompanied by a warning that they may depict scenes of "racial prejudice". The classic cat and mouse cartoons, some made more than 70 years ago, carry a warning for subscribers to Amazon Prime Instant Video. There have been claims of racist stereotyping in the depiction of a black maid in the cartoon series. Amazon´s warning says such prejudice was once "commonplace" in US society. Tom and Jerry, once a staple of children´s television on British television, is being presented with a cautionary note about "ethnic and racial prejudices".

In May, the Humane Society and a handful of other radical animal-rights groups had to write a $15.8 million check to the Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Circus for damages done. The
