GOP sees signs of Jewish
voters drifting away from Democrats

The Hill, by Niall Stanage

Original Article

Posted By:mitzi, 8/3/2014 12:01:23 PM

Republicans believe that the deepening crisis in Gaza could ultimately loosen the grip that the Democratic Party has traditionally held upon American Jewish voters. While declarations of a rift between Democrats and the Jewish community have proven premature in the past, things could be different this time, they assert. Just in the last week, the Obama administration used unusually strong language to condemn the shelling of a United Nations-run school in Gaza, apparently by the Israeli military, and drafted a document for a cease-fire that Israeli officials denounced as favoring Hamas.

Comments:
The only Jewish people I know were already Republicans. But I have two Catholic Dems ready to cross over.

My high school was 62% Jewish and I could never understand why they were all hard core Democrats.
But then again most of the families were connected with the film industry one way or another.
Don´t confuse me with facts seemed to be their mantra.

The Jewish people, both in this country, and also Israel, believe in personal responsibility.

The Republican party believes in personal responsibility.

The Democratic party believe others should supply all the needs of the lazy and parasites.

Jewish folk (I´m not one) are welcome in the RP.

Katzenberg, Geffen, Weinstein, Spielberg and the rest of the "Hollywood Elite" continue to stuff Obama/Dem Fundraising Coffers.
Will they wake up?
John Voight, Gary Sinise and Clint Eastwood are the only major stars coming out for Republicans and Israel.
Gerald Molens America and Obama 2016 are the only work of a major producer Director besides Eastwood.
Receipts fell 20% this summer - maybe that will wake them up.
Film industry is becoming free lance by default and off shore with foreign subsidies.

As Jackie Mason said 8-1-14: Hollywood is run by Jews but is nevertheless "anti Semitic," "ignorant" and "stupid" when it comes to issues involving Israel.

I have long believed that SOME groups of Jews vote intentionally for wealth redistribution (and against America and Israel). Savvy small business owners, landlords and movie/music moguls make soooo much more money from wealth redistribution a little more tax and total betrayal is acceptable.

Since 2009 he has chosen Muslim Brotherhood over Israel. But never so blatantly as this time. And it has never been so clearly the wrong choice.

The American people have just seen a real leader handle an existential threat. We can compare and contrast with Obama´s handling of the existential threat of Iran with nuclear weapons.

We may well need to be sending a Citizen Committee to Bibi in a year asking him to please help us with Iran.

Political pollsters have a tough job. They have to create formulas to determine if the person they are interviewing is likely to vote, and it is within this calculation that their reputations are made. Typically, those who are likely to vote in an off-year election are pretty set. They are the people who always vote in elections — with some motivated by specific issues. In a wave election, the number of those motivated by specific issues escalates, changing the electoral landscape as the candidates who are beneficiaries of this increased participation sweep to victory.
