Wallace Battles Dem Rep.: Didn’t
Democrats Want to Impeach Bush?

Mediaite, by Evan McMurry

Following statements from Representative Steve King (R-IA) that President Barack Obama was creating a “constitutional crisis” with his executive actions on immigration that would ultimately leave the House with no choice but impeachment, Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace asked Representative Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) how the GOP’s impeachment chatter was different than bills filed by the Democrats to impeach George W Bush. “It’s completely different,” Jeffries said. “Then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) clearly said impeachment is off the table.” “Basically that’s what [House Speaker] John Boehner (R-OH) said this week, too,” Wallace said.

I remember one skanky democrat suggesting that a special prosecutor be established to investigate some imagined transgression by President Reagan with the memorable question (not a direct quote because it´s been too many years since I heard it)..."Isn´t the charge itself enough to warrant an investigations?" The next day, Rush Limbaugh replied ´Yes, if this were the Soviet Union!´

Dems are despicable creatures, Abu bin Bama, Reid and Pelosi most of all.

In June, 2008, the House of Representatives voted to send Rep. Dennis Kucinich´s 35 Articles of Impeachment of President Bush to the House Judiciary Committee chaired by Rep. John Conyers. Conyers had previously convened a mock impeachment panel of House Democrats during a congressional recess. Speaker Pelosi said impeachment was off the table, but likely because of the fear that Sen. Joe Lieberman would switch sides, giving the Senate to the Republicans.

So, basically, the Dems are saying that the desire of SOME Republicans to impeach Obama is worse than the desire of some Democrats to impeach Bush because enough of the American people might support the former for it to happen while that was never true of the latter.

´What´s important is not the quality of the evidence but rather the seriousness of the charge.´

This ranks right up there with:´We have to pass this to find out what´s in it.´

Only Leftist Loonies get a pass on this level of insulting stupidity.

Wallace let the Jeffries imbecile get away with lying about the government shutdown and how Boehner decided to shut it down instead of working with democrats. Wallace should have stated that Reid shut down 17% of the government because he refused to bring the House bill to a vote in the Senate.

(Video) Iowa Republican Senate candidate Joni Ernst released a trio of ads on Thursday emphasizing her military service in Iraq. The radio and TV ads feature testimonials from Iraq War veterans who served alongside Ernst, a lieutenant colonel in the Iowa National Guard. The commercials highlight the continued emphasis national security issues have received in the deadlocked race between Ernst and Rep. Bruce Braley (D), whom Republicans have repeatedly hit over veterans issues. The contest to replace retiring Sen. Tom Harkin (D-Iowa) could decide which party controls the Senate next year. In the wake of President Obama’s speech yesterday at the U.N. General Assembly, there were reports of another chemical weapons attack near Damascus launched by Bashar al-Assad’s regime. If true, Assad is just drawing the logical conclusion from the president’s speech and the administration’s actions over the last several weeks. The policy of the Obama White House is to target Sunni extremism. That means that Assad and his partners in the Iranian resistance axis are virtually untouchable. Indeed, the administration advised Tehran before launching strikes on ISIS and Jabhat al-Nusra Monday that the strikes would do no damage to the

AUSTIN — A Houston lawyer is alleging the prosecutor handling the indictment against Rick Perry is over-charging taxpayers for his services, breaking the same law the governor stands accused of violating. In a criminal complaint sent Monday to the Travis County district attorney’s office, Houston criminal defense attorney David Rushing says special prosecutor Michael McCrum is abusing his official capacity by billing the county $300 per hour, or more than three times the highest possible rate set by a state law. Travis County’s guidelines for the law, however, make it possible for an attorney in McCrum’s situation to earn less

It’s oddly fitting that Attorney General Eric Holder – a stubbornly independent career prosecutor ridiculed by Barack Obama’s advisers for having lousy political instincts— would nail his dismount. But Holder, who began his stormy five-plus-year tenure at the Justice Department with his controversial “Nation of Cowards” speech, has chosen what seems to be the ideal (and maybe the only) moment to call it quits after more than 18 months of musing privately about leaving with the president and senior White House adviser Valerie Jarrett, a trio bound by friendship, progressive ideology and shared African-American ancestry.
