Obama concocts impeachment threat

New York Post, by Kyle Smith

It’s as if our president has read all of the disappointed head-shaking opinion pieces by Very Serious Liberals and is responding, “Hey, I’m not sad. I’m ridiculous!”Because in the last couple of weeks Barack Obama has reached his Basil Fawlty stage. Instead of John Cleese’s Fawlty rushing around a dismal English hotel trying to avoid insulting his German guests by squawking, “Don’t mention the war,” we have Obama stumbling around the country crying, “Don’t mention impeachment!”The president is, of course, the only American of any standing whatsoever talking about impeachment. At least Basil Fawlty had an excuse for his dizzy behavior:

Obama would love to be impeached.

He could go down in history as the president who got impeached because he was black. Instead of just being the worst president in living memory.

Impeachment is a brilliantly diabolical way for the Hawaiian King to raise more money, and shift the focus away from his failed policies.

It also sets up an opportunity when he soon declares blanket amnesty by Executive Order to ......raise more money!

Obama will be really frosted when he hears that Republicans do not even think it is worth their time to impeach him.
No sense stirring up the lofos, use the time to work on a blueprint to reduce the size of government, close our southen border, move to a flat tax, drill for oil and gas to create jobs and repeal Obamacare.

This is madness. If Obama is impeached and removed from the WH, Valerie Jarrett will still be president and Biden will still be Biden. Furthermore, Susan Rice will still be National Security Director, Eric Holder will remain as AG to protect Jarrett and Obama from criminal charges and the leftists in charge of the IRS, EPA, CIA, Interior, Energy, NLRB, EEOC and National Parks will still rule. Other than giving the most corrupt, most anti-American, most anti-white and anti-Christian occupant of the WH more time to exchange golf balls with Reggie Love, what will impeachment accomplish?

Impeachment is a serious matter, and Obama needs to be seriously impeached for a multitude of high Constitutional crimes. Whether the Republicans have the ethical backbones to withstand the vicious Democratic onslaught for doing so is the real question.

Not impeachment.
Take the Senate and let him twist aimlessly in the wind for two years.

Minimize his travel budget, ground AF! for months long maintenance problems.
Worst of all, just ignore him for long periods of time.

Funny thing, he may find out the "threat of impeachment" is very popular in a bi-partisan way. Politically this guy is toast, which the Republicans allow to fall on their floor butter-side down. Immigration reform is the perfect example. Be a great club if it wasn´t for the GOP trying to pass the next Comprehensive Immigration Reform. Or swearing off impeachment.

0bama must believe he has, in fact, committed "high crimes and misdemeanors" because he is the only politicians seriously talking impeachment. I wonder what he feels guilty about? But he has raised over $50 million to fight a charge that has not been made. If there is no impeachment, what is he doing with all those millions?? Why is he working so hard asking to be impeached?? What has he done that we don´t know about??

Obama and the Dems want impeachment - badly. They view it as the way out of their pending election debacle.

Obama´s constitutional violations will become increasingly flagrant, until there is no choice but impeachment. Then, trap will be sprung - the awaiting MSM will drive home the lies, building a case for racial oppression of the president, who only wants to "help folks".

Accountability: Turns out the Secret Service — which has one job to do — let a knife-wielding intruder all the way into the East Room of the White House. Can´t anyone in government do anything right these days? Time was when the Secret Service seemed an exemplar of professionalism and dedication, an agency with a focused mission and largely immune from the bureaucratic bumbling inherent to big government. In recent years, it´s seemed more like Animal House. The intruder blew past one guard and was stopped only by an off-duty officer. And this was one of hundreds of apparent security breaches.

A Canadian member of the loathed Islamic State claimed the group is plotting an attack on New York City — and will one day fly its flag over the White House. Days before Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi warned of terrorist plots on subways in New York City and Paris, a video emerged showing an ISIS shill named Farah Shirdon widening the scope of the threat. “God willing, we will make some attacks in New York soon,” he said in a video interview with Vice News last week. “A lot of brothers are mobilizing there right now.” He vowed that U.S.-based fighters are “mobilizing for a brilliant attack.”
