Netanyahu says Israeli military

Washington Post, by Griff Witte and Sudarsan Raghavan

JERUSALEM — An Israeli soldier who the military feared had been abducted by Hamas gunmen in a firefight Friday that shattered a temporary cease-fire in Gaza was declared dead Sunday, just hours after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu signaled that military operations against Palestinian militants would continue. “We will take as much time as necessary, and will exert as much force as needed,” Netanyahu said Saturday. He said that Hamas will pay “an intolerable price” for its attacks. Earlier, Israeli officials had said they would not send representatives to negotiations planned for Sunday in Cairo, and reports circulated in the

Farther down there is an article/video posted with Bibi as a 28 year old. A must watch.

The contrast between Benjamin Netanyahu and Barack Obama could not be more stark. One recognizes a mortal threat to his country and acts decisively to protect his people and defeat the enemy. He makes it clear that he will do everything in his power to succeed. He is confident and resolute. He is a real leader who has been in combat and knows the sacrifice it takes. He loves his country and will fight to protect it against all odds even when his allies harangue him. He is a leader to be respected and admired. Then there is Obama, enough said.

There is every reason why Bibi and his People must finish this. The most important of which is to keep the barbarians from major attacks in the USA, a prospect clearly not obvious to the loser in our WH.

Netanyahu is doing what must be done. He is fighting back. The meeting in Cairo, as are all ceasefire meetings, is for the purpose of stopping Israel from defeating Hamas, and not from getting them to stop their attacks on Israel and especially upon the civilian population. And yes, Obama, to stop an endless war against the children in Israel.

It is time for Israel to stop being suckered by their enemies within the U.S. and the UN.

Completely destroying Hamas, while appealing, is not possible without razing Gaza because Hamas is like rats living among the people. You can never find and exterminate them all without a complete clean up of everything.

Israel has no interest in picking up that burden, not only because of the harsh fighting they would encounter from desperate people, but because they do NOT want a genocide on their conscience. The Israelis are fighting a war of defense wiping out the tunnels and significant amounts of the rockets. Perhaps killing a few Hamas leaders. Then they will leave Gaza, hoping for a few years of relative security for their country. They know, unfortunately, that Arab hated will drive Arabs to future actions that will have to be resisted.

For now, it is a balance of safety vs. prudence.

Hamas is at war and will continue until they are dead. They are more than happy to sacrifice everyone around them. They will not quit. Israel needs to wipe them out since their very existence is at stake. This war will likely continue unabated for a long time. Any cease fire is meaningless since Hamas will stay in a war stance.

Sickening to watch the United Nations, the lefty media, and leftist politicians persist in supporting Hamas.

Obama administration forcing new

Washington Times, by Kelly Riddell    Original Article

The Obama administration quietly has been forcing new gun buyers to declare their race and ethnicity, a policy change that critics say provides little law enforcement value while creating the risk of privacy intrusions and racial profiling. With little fanfare, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) in 2012 amended its Form 4473 — the transactional record the government requires gun purchasers and sellers to fill out when buying a firearm — to identify buyers as either Hispanic, Latino or not. Then a buyer must check his or her race: Indian, Asian, black, Pacific Islander or white. The

The nation’s top military officer raised the possibility Tuesday that U.S. troops could become involved in ground attacks against the Islamic State, despite repeated pledges to the contrary from President Obama. In testimony before the Senate Armed Services Committee, Army Gen. Martin Dempsey, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, sketched out scenarios in which U.S. Special Forces might need to embed with Iraqi or Kurdish troops engaged in direct combat with Islamic State fighters. Under questioning from lawmakers, Dempsey acknowledged that Obama has vowed not to send U.S. ground combat forces back into Iraq, less than three years

Fred and Kim Kagan were key intellectual architects of the surge that saved the Iraq war and defeated the forerunner of the Islamic State the first time around–and were ringing the alarm bells long ago about the descent of Iraq after the U.S. withdrawal, when few were inclined to listen. Now, they have published a proposed strategy for defeating the Islamic State. I recommend reading the whole thing. You will be struck by its modest tone. What they propose is much more robust than President Obama’s strategy, yet, even then, the risks are high and the prospects of success uncertain.

The Times fails to point out that it makes no sense, while also betraying Obama´s lack of leadership. But the president said he had already been headed toward a military response before the men’s deaths. He added that ISIS had made a major strategic error by killing them because the anger it generated resulted in the American public’s quickly backing military action.
