Senate Budget Committee ranking member Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) praised House Republicans late Friday evening for standing strong on immigration and warned Democrats in Congress that they will be held accountable for supporting amnesty for illegal aliens. “I applaud the hard work of House Republicans in putting together this package, and in particular would like to recognize the steadfast and unflinching efforts from members of our Alabama delegation,” Sessions said in a statement provided exclusively to Breitbart News. “The border bill has been substantially improved, and provides a marked contrast to the Senate Democrat bill—defeated on a bipartisan basis—that only perpetuated

Senator Sessions should be held up to other Senators and Representatives as a role model for government elected officials. He has character and is committed to following the Constitution which seems lately to be a fairy tale in so many people´s eyes. Way to go Sen. Sessions!! May your number increase!

If the Republicans can´t make a viable case that the Democrats are not supporting the effective enforcement of the immigration laws for partisan political purposes, and have encouraged the mass illegal migration of young illegal aliens now coming across the borderline, during the run up to the midterm election in November with about 70% of Americans opposed to Obama´s actions, the Republicans will have no hope of winning that election.

Senator Sessions and Cruz should be in the leadership. Voters should support them and any senators that even belatedly join them. Senators Thad Cocran and McConnell should be sacrificed to the RATS as a lesson for any weak sisters who try to destroy the tea party. There needs to be consequences to the things they have done. McConnell led they way pushing the house to give up the power of the purse. He and Boehner could have curbed much of the damage Obama does but refused to. Give them half the blame for the Obama damages. If the GOP would show this side in the fall elections they could win big. If they keep on going along with Obama they might even loose despite the horror for what Obama is doing.

Have always loved Sen. Sessions.

Sen. Cruz is correct, too, in asserting that Dems are USING these sad, pathetic children as ransom.

But they are also being used cynically, evilly, as pawns, to stir the emotions and our natural compassion.

It is pure evil. Same idea as when Hamas puts children in bomb storage areas, or puts bombs in schools.

It is despicable, evil, on every level.

Islam is violent and repressive, and its sacred texts are the heart of darkness at the center of the Islamic State´s inspiration and motivation, despite Barack Obama´s assertions in September 10th´s address to the nation that the Islamic State "is not Islamic" and that "no religion condones the killing of innocents." Violence is an integral part of Islamic doctrine, following the example set by its Prophet Mohammed, and in the name of Islam and Allah, Muslims have been murdering innocents, since 656 AD. Many Republicans are excited about the midterm elections. They see a good chance of taking over the Senate, which means they can neutralize Obama’s last few years in office. Many also are hopeful about the presidential election in 2016, though Hillary Clinton will enter that race with decided advantages. Regaining the presidency, some believe, will lead to a reprise of Ronald Reagan’s presidency, in which the country was turned from its leftward drift under Jimmy Carter. Yet even if this scenario unfolds as the Republicans hope, it is doubtful the deeper structural problems of the country will be solved. The entitlement

It doesn’t take a genius to know there’s a huge philosophical divergence between the socialist democratic party and the constitutionalist GOP (note the word ‘constitutionalist’). The tightly unified party of progressive socialists believe that massive, oppressive government is authorized to have a boot at every citizen’s throat, while Republicans are supposed to believe in the constitution and a limited government that adheres to the rule of law. But the GOP is no longer unified nor does it stand for adhering to the U.S. Constitution. Swept up by a ‘kinder, gentler’ political correctness, the GOP’s ideology has waffled on the role of

HOUSTON, Texas -- Former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay was found not guilty today by the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. This is the highest appellate court in Texas for criminal cases and thus brings DeLay’s political persecution to an end. The court upheld the ruling last year from the Texas 3rd Court of Appeals. That decision tossed out the convictions on money laundering and conspiracy charges. At that time Justice Melissa Goodwin wrote “The fundamental problem with the state´s case was its failure to prove proceeds of criminal activity,” according to a September 19th report on Breitbart News.

Okay, hold the chuckles, snickers and laughs at bay for a moment while I briefly explain my thinking at that time. Even though Republicans may take back the Senate by running against amnesty, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush pushed amnesty legislation while stumping for North Carolina Republican Senate candidate Thom Tillis on Wednesday. Bush, according to the New York Times, reportedly said that comprehensive immigration reform "will restore and sustain economic growth for this country." And even though a recent Gallup poll found that illegal immigration is now the top concern among Republicans, Bush said that if immigration reform is "framed in that way, I don’t think there’s a big debate in the Republican Party about the need to do this."
