WASHINGTON – Congress approved a $225 million package to replenish Israel´s missile defenses with its last order of business before a five-week recess, as the Jewish state´s cease-fire with Hamas unraveled and Israeli forces pushed deep into Gaza in search of a missing army officer. The House´s 395-8 vote in favor late Friday followed Senate adoption of the legislation by voice vote earlier in the day. The money is directed toward restocking Israel´s Iron Dome, which has been credited with shooting down dozens of incoming rockets fired by Palestinian militants over 3 1/2 weeks of war. What I like about this is that it was pulled from a bill that combined multiple issues in an effort to pressure a yes vote on a issue that the rep may not support in order to secure the absolutely necessary support for the only real ally in the region.

All important legislation should be single issue.

The House passed the Senate’s bill and it is sitting on the President’s desk as I type this.

The Marxist/Commie/Fascist POS in the WH must sign this bill or the NYC-Jews will not buy $35K dinner tickets to hear him bloviate endlessly about Bad-Ass-Republicans in order to finance Donkey midterm elections next month.

#3:

Interesting point but we are not broke because of Defense or Foreign Aid costs. We are broke because of excessive domestic welfare spending and constantly ballooning non-essential pet-project costs!

Also, about half of all income earners pay NO FEDERAL INCOME TAXES and many of them get an ‘April Fools’ tax rebate check for being pizz-poor wage earners!

Just like the fictional Unaccompanied Alien Children ruse the White House created to sell a comprehensive immigration reform strategy, so too is the Khorosan group a purely fictional political construct designed to avoid ideological embarrassment. Andrew McCarthy exposes the same fraud we have continued to share. In a recent column for NRO McCarthy explains how the White House had come up with the “Khorosan” al-Qaeda group as nothing more than a political ploy to avoid being ridiculed for their inept and detached prior espousals. After the McCarthy article we’ll show you the timeframe when the Denis McDonough ruse

A fire at an FAA radar center in Aurora that grounded hundreds of flights in Chicago and across the country was deliberately set but "is no terrorist act," police said this morning. "There is no terrorist act," said Aurora police Chief Greg Thomas. "This is a local issue with a contract employee and nothing else." The employee was found in the basement of the radar facility suffering from self-inflicted wounds, police said. He was taken to a hospital and the radar center was shut down and evacuated. That prompted a groundstop order that halted all flights in and out of O´Hare and Midway airports.

Las Vegas schools are considering plans to teach children as young as 5 about masturbation and homosexuality. Clark County School District proposed the changes during closed-door meetings with community members last week, EAG News reported. Among the changes include education of homosexuality as early as age 5 and giving everyone “respect regardless of who they are attracted to,” the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported. Students of that age would also be taught that “touching and rubbing one’s genitals to feel good is called masturbation,” the newspaper said. We’re being had. Again. For six years, President Obama has endeavored to will the country into accepting two pillars of his alternative national-security reality. First, he claims to have dealt decisively with the terrorist threat, rendering it a disparate series of ragtag jayvees. Second, he asserts that the threat is unrelated to Islam, which is innately peaceful, moderate, and opposed to the wanton “violent extremists” who purport to act in its name. Now, the president has been compelled to act against a jihad that has neither ended nor been “decimated.” The jihad, in fact, has inevitably intensified under his counterfactual

Political pollsters have a tough job. They have to create formulas to determine if the person they are interviewing is likely to vote, and it is within this calculation that their reputations are made. Typically, those who are likely to vote in an off-year election are pretty set. They are the people who always vote in elections — with some motivated by specific issues. In a wave election, the number of those motivated by specific issues escalates, changing the electoral landscape as the candidates who are beneficiaries of this increased participation sweep to victory.
