EPA Regs Still Busy
Killing Coal Jobs

Rogue agency is rogue. West Virginia coal company, Alpha Natural Resources, told 1,1000 workers to prepare for layoffs because 11 mines across the state are “subject to being idled.” The reason: weak market conditions and Environmental Protection Agency regulations, the company said. The company notified the 1,100 employees late Thursday that “sustained weak market conditions and government regulations have challenged the entire Central Appalachian mining industry.” The layoffs would not take place till mid-October, Alpha said. When The Idiot King said he would have a “laser-like” focus on jobs oh so long ago he really didn’t specify whether he would be focuse

This is enough to make you weep bitter tears of anger and frustration. And it is so very UNNECESSARY. Where is Joe Manchin and why isn´t he screaming at Obama? Rockefeller I have no hope for. Bob Murray of Murray Energy was on with Cavuto. He was darn near tears he was so angry over what is going to happen to the American people. The link for that video is below.

When will Congress ever get the brains and back-bone to rein in this absolutely out of control EPA? They keep saying they can cut off funds - they should do it before this bunch of socialist totally ruins the country.

EPA must stand for "Employment Prevention Agency"!

Not to worry. Obama and his leftist allies believe that the earth is sharply warming, so bitter cold winters ended years ago. Except when the economy struggles such as in the 1st Q, when cold weather caused -2.1% GDP growth. But this winter and all future winters will be mild. Unless GDP stagnates again, then Obama, CBS, the NYT and the AP will blame the severe cold & snow for consumers staying home. And, they will all claim that the frigid weather and the deaths it causes are the result of global warming.

As to needing A/C if the earth is actually warming (it isn´t), rest assured that Obama, the EPA and federal offices will be cool. The rest of us - open a window.

The coal unions had their chance in 2012 to support Romney and abandon the Democrat party and the Marxist-in-cheif. They didn´t and instead they were neutral and (supposedly) supported no one. Well, it sucks to be you. Maybe next time you´ll know. Oh what, there won´t be a next time because the mines are closed.

Following the release of new footage that seems to show now former-Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice punching his then-fiancée in the face, it’s important to remember that the prosecutor who let Rice off with a slap on the wrist is now trying to throw the book at a young mother of two who tried to protect herself and her family from violence. Atlantic County Prosecutor Jim McClain approved an application for admitting Rice into New Jersey’s Pre-Trial Intervention program that allowed the NFL star to avoid jail time. Instead, Rice has to undergo counseling and will be immediately incarcerated

Former Vice President Dick Cheney met with House Republicans Tuesday morning after returning from their August recess, warning lawmakers about how grave the threat of Islamic State (ISIS) terrorists is. But some anti-interventionist Republicans were not thrilled about Cheney’s foreign policy views returning to prominence in the party. Rep. Justin Amash, R-MI, fresh off of his victory of a contentious Republican primary, was one of them. Asked by the Washington Post’s Robert Costa whether it was time for Republicans to stop listening to Cheney, Amash replied “Yeah … Because Republicans don’t agree with him … they don’t agree with him

Her ties to the group have come under scrutiny since she won the Democratic nomination for Senate. She replaced disgraced Sen. Senate Democrats at a press conference on Monday unveiling a constitutional amendment designed to alter First Amendment freedoms argued that their effort is both nonpartisan and absolutely essential to advance the agenda of the Democratic Party. “We are here today to overturn Citizens United,” said Sen. Tom Udall (D., N.M.), the amendment’s author. However, the language of the amendment does not specifically address Citizens United, and would not require Congress to address the issues raised in the case. Rather, legislators would be given free rein to enact restrictions on political speech as they see fit. Given efforts by Reid and others to demonize
