Immigrant groups sue
Holder over deportations

The Hill [Washington, DC], by Benjamin Goad

Original Article

Posted By:LittleHoodedMonk, 8/1/2014 4:08:48 PM

Half a dozen children are listed as plaintiffs in the federal lawsuit naming Attorney General Eric Holder, Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson, and Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia Mathews Burwell as defendants. The lawsuit seeks to block deportation of just those children, unless the government can ensure adequate legal representation. However, the American Civil Liberties Union, American Immigration Council and other groups involved have also filed a lawsuit on behalf of thousands of children alleging the government has neglected to provide them with lawyers for their deportation hearings.

Comments:
In 0bamaWorld, the tails continue to wag their dogs. This lawsuit has been orchestrated as another front to get amnesty and paid for by 0bama´s money bundlers. Ask yourself. Where do these "poor" people get the money to take on our government?

The lawsuit should be dismissed and the "children" and their guardians immediately deported. The ACLU and the AIC should be slapped with a Federal RICO lawsuit. In MY America, that´s what would happen.....

This is a set-up, a scam.
Obama and the illegal immigrant groups are working together.
DOJ agrees to an out of court settlement to give amnesty to anyone who asks, and lawsuit dropped.
Screw the US public
Yes, a collusion lawsuit.
Actually, a criminal conspiracy.

You know the ACLU has already judge-shopped so it will only be filed in the court of a LIEberal judge that will rubber-stamp whatever the ACLU and the criminal alien invaders want.

I real patriotic judge, who cared about our Constitution and laws, would toss this with prejudice, and a warning about RICO.

#7, 8 et al are probably right, or close enough.

One scenario:
Judge shop.
Judge issues temporary injunction to halt deportations while the case is scheduled and heard.
Somehow it takes a quite a while.
Obama has his way for days, weeks, or months while the judge ponders.
Should the judge rule against you then try the same tactics at the appeal level.

Infinite variations are possible including the ever popular collusive settlement.

Baltimore - Ray Rice jerseys were tough to find Thursday night. With the disgraced running back an ex-Baltimore Raven as of Monday, the legions of fans who used to proudly wear Rice´s No. 27 into M&T Bank Stadium had clearly changed their look. But despite new video released this week that showed Rice slugging his fiancee in an Atlantic City Casino in February, he still had a few fans walking the busy Baltimore sidewalks. "Man, I love Ray Rice," said Josh Morrison, 23, of Salisbury, Md., while wearing the purple jersey once made famous by Rice, now a free agent but serving an indefinite NFL-issued suspension in the

GOP blocks Democrats’ push to rewrite
First Amendment campaign spending
Washington Times, by Stephen Dinan    Original Article

A Democratic election year push to amend the Constitution and roll back campaign-spending free speech rights ran out of steam Thursday and fell victim to a Senate filibuster. Holding the vote, even in defeat, was a major political goal for Democrats during the two-week session of Congress. They hope the fight will help them rally their base ahead of November’s elections, arguing that changing the Constitution is needed to prevent wealthy conservatives from improperly influencing elections. The amendment Democratic leaders proposed would have given Congress and state legislatures the ability to set “reasonable” limits on how much

Washington - A CIA assessment puts the number of ISIS fighters at possibly more than three times the previous estimates. ISIS, the terror group that calls itself the Islamic State, "can muster between 20,000 and 31,500 fighters across Iraq and Syria," a CIA spokesman told CNN on Thursday. Analysts and U.S. officials initially estimated there were as many as 10,000 fighters, including those who were freed from prisons by ISIS, and Sunni loyalists who have joined the fight as the group advanced across Iraq. While the nation watched President Obama primetime address the threat of ISIS Wednesday night, something else was happening in Washington: Senator Ted Cruz was getting booed off the stage of a Christian event. (Snip) Cruz initially received applause for his opening remarks that the group was united in defense of Christians, Jews, and “people of good faith who are standing together against those who would persecute and murder those who dare to disagree with their religious teachings.” Things turned sour within minutes. “ISIS, Al Qaeda, Hezbollah, Hamas, and their state sponsors like Syria and Iran, are all engaged in a

A man jumped the perimeter fence of the White House on Thursday, jangling nerves on the 13th anniversary of the September 11 attacks. Witnesses said he was quickly apprehended by two armed Secret Service officers who had scrambled to intercept him. The White House complex, as is standard procedure in such incidents — which are common — was locked down and people were prevented from entering and leaving the grounds. US President Barack Obama was not at home at the time because he was taking part in an event elsewhere in Washington to mark the anniversary of the 2001 attacks.

Rosetta has been circling the comet for over a month now and returning some truly amazing images, but leave it to little Philae to put it all into perspective. Such a show-stealer! "We freaked out," said homeowner Roman Urista. He and his family were sitting in the backyard around a fire recently, when the Drone hovered overhead, lights on and propellers roaring. It crash landed in the family´s yard, still buzzing. "It didn´t look like a hobby toy to me," said Urista. The Drone, valued at around $500, was equipped with an onboard camera. The family was scared to go near the Drone, and once they saw the recording device, they called police.

As we suspected, President Obama tried in his Wednesday-night speech to make it sound like he was doing something new when he, in fact, he is not. Moreover, in describing his response, he made plain that he doesn’t take the threat to the homeland seriously. For a threat his advisers say is greater than that posed by al-Qaeda after 2001, he proposed measures suitable for Yemen and Somalia. No, really — that’s the plan. For starters, the president doesn’t believe the Islamic State is a current threat to the U.S.: “So ISIL poses a threat to the people of Iraq

Rarely has a president faced a greater challenge in establishing his credibility for a new foreign-policy move than Barack Obama did in his nationally televised speech tonight. A CNN poll earlier this week found that just 30 percent of voters thought Obama had presented a clear plan for fighting the Islamic State. While Obama now pledges to ask Congress to train and aid Syrian rebels who would fight the group, voters remember that he backed similar plans in Syria in 2013, when his advisers saw Syrian president Bashar Assad as the major threat. Throughout his presidency, President Obama has emphasized one point while talking about Islamist extremists: They are not practicing Islam, he has said, they are perverting it. While announcing that he´s expanding the campaign against the Islamic State extremist group into Syria, Obama said flatly that this group, which is trying to install a caliphate in the Middle East, "is not Islamic." President Obama just announced that he is bringing a counter-terrorism strategy to an insurgency fight. He was at pains to repeat the phrase “counter-terror” four times in a short speech. Noting that ISIL is not a state (partly because the international community thankfully does not recognize it), he declared, “ISIL is a terrorist organization, pure and simple. And it has no vision other than the slaughter of all who stand in its way.” Neither of those sentences, unfortunately, is true.
